This was such a fun experience. I bought the dolphins royal swim plus package. It included a camel ride & feeding. The dolphins of course, & a meet & greet w/ a sea lion. The dolphins portion was the best!! So worth it!! I could finally check that off my bucket list now. The dolphins were so well trained & overjoyed!! Simba, & esp Cleopatra were so happy!! Not only that, but a fun & exciting boat ride w/ a lunch provided depending on the time you choose to do your activity. It could also be a late snack instead. Overall one of the best experiences of my life. This made my bday vaca. Don't hesitate, do it!! You'll love it.

Had a great time here while on a girl's trip to Mexico (we decided on the dolphin encounter). As an animal lover, I truly felt in my element being amongst the dolphins and sea lions. You get the opportunity to interact with the animals under the supervision of their trainers. The trainers are very knowledgeable about the animals they work with and are more than happy to share that bit of knowledge. Staff members take pictures of your interactions and at the end you have the option of purchasing those pictures. The prices are a bit expensive though. Overall, the experience was pleasant. My next goal is to actually swim with the dolphins.

Had a great time with the kids. Trainers were fun. The sea lions made everyone laugh. The photos are extremely expensive although remember this is a very tourism based area. This is how they make their money and is just part of the vacation experience. Was a great experience from beggining to end, the transport was great and we did buy the photos. I'm glad we did because now we have these memories to hold onto not just in our head.

Scam. Don't give them your money. I paid for a swim and ride package, but they schedule the "ride" part of it so that you have to wait two hours if you do the ride for the next shuttle back to the hotel. The lunch which I also paid for didn't happen, so my swim and ride turned into a swim. A good dolphin experience ruined by poor management and customer service.

This was in my bucket list and eventhough I don't know how to swim I wanted to experience this!!! So what if we spent 200 with good and adventure ride plus 150 for cd,pic mug, plus pic with a camel named lady Gaga!!! We enjoy and will forever have memories, I highly recommend this one better then Cabo Adventure when it comes to dolphin swim, why Because the Dolphins are in open water not confined in a pool that does round and round !!! Our dolphin name was Clayeo and she is a beautiful dolphin very smart, our instructor named is Francisco and he is great instructor !!! I didn't want to leave but we had too !!!!

My husband and I paid 398.00 for the Royal swim. This was something I always wanted to do.When we arrived they told us we had to leave all our belongings in a locker this included our cell phones. We we're not permitted to take pictures. Our experience with the dolphins was amazing, fun, and everything I could have imagined. The nightmare was when we returned to buy some pictures we were SHOCKED at the outrageous prices!!! 300.00 for a cd and one picture was 50.00 for one person in the photo and 150 for 2 ppl in the photo. We only brought 50$ with us not thinking we would be spending too much money! So we paid 400$ and not one picture memory! I was so upset. One of the employee said, we can email them and I would be able to purchase the pictures online. After several emails I have not received a response! Please beware if you decide to go to Cabo And visit Dolphin Discovery if you want pictures be prepared to pay read more

Absolute extortion! I wish Yelp would allow a reviewer to leave negative stars. We paid $180 each (three of us) to swim with the dolphins. The experience was a complete let down to begin with. The trainer did not tell us anything about dolphins or really allow us to interact with them as much as we expected to. They focused the entire time on posing for photos for the photographer on staff. Then, when the experience was over, we exited the pool and were instructed to visit the photo center. We really wanted to bring a photo home with us, but the cheapest option available was to purchase ALL the photos that were taken for a whopping $200!! They don't sell smaller packages at all! After paying so much, we should get one souvenir photo or at least be able to buy just one for a fee far less than $200! They don't allow spectators to take photos, so just know if you go here, you'll be paying about $400 after the experience and buying photos (most of which you will not want). I will leave a "tip" on this page with regards to another place I've gone nearby that allowed for a much better experience. I would avoid this business. It is a major rip off. read more

This is the ultimate price gouging and take advantage of the tourist activity. The experience was tolerable only because of the sweet dolphin. The staff was rude, intolerant of young children and the entire experience was focused around their photographer. The over the top expensive activity culminated in the photo viewing area where they charged $150 USD for a single photo!. Upon viewing the photos they have staff watching you and checking your phones to make sure you are not taking any shots of their dolphins or their photos as you view them on the screen. I have traveled throughout the country with my family, river rafting, zip lining, and experiencing multiple adventure activities. Always loving the pictures sold by the company to peruse over for days and weeks after the experience is long over. I hope my children remember their time with the dolphins because I will have no pictures to reminisce from. A true tourist trap...BEWARE!! read more

This place is run by thieves. Do not trust them under any circumstance. They make you leave your belongings in a locker that they provide so you cannot take your own photos. They advertise boat rides, open bar, and unlimited buffet, yet only after you pay full price do they disclose that these things are "complimentary" and they reserve the right to cancel them. The charge about 70 bucks per person but about 50 per picture they take of you. I cannot stress enough how much you should stay away from these theives. Take your money elsewhere. read more

This is how the dolphins live when no one is looking. Dolphins don't belong in tanks - they can swim up to 96 km/day, stay with their mothers for life, and even have their own name in the wild. They suffer here; they can do up to 15 of the same interactions each day. One dolphin's excrement is the same as 4-6 humans. These dolphins are forcibly bred, separated from their mothers, and confined all in the name of vacation entertainment. Please look into what their life is really like when they live in these sleezy facilities. read more

Dolphins don't belong in captivity. This is a heart-breaking place. Take a local cruise and see them in the wild.
