Would definitely recommend as a top activity to do just outside of Portland. Birthday, anniversary, just a day to catch up and relax, it's a spot to put on your listSuper thorough explanation of the wines. Food menu is limited but really pretty good. The area is beautiful with great views and overall very clean and well maintained.

This is an absolutely beautiful winery. It was a foggy day when we went so we didn't get to see much of the view but exploring the inside it was gorgeous. Our server was Michael and he was so friendly and knowledgeable! We really enjoyed all the wine that we tasted. We also ordered the bread from the table and it arrived fresh and warm with yummy salted butter.

They live up to the hype! I've been fortunate to enjoy several member tastings here because a few of my friends are members. My visits have been a year or so in between, and I can honestly say that each time, the service is impeccable. And of course the wines are stellar! I've read other reviews saying the opposite, and I feel badly for their poor experience, but my own experiences have been fabulous. Our hostess was knowledgeable and charming. I loved learning the history of the vineyard, and about each wine they poured. Even better, they poured us several of the same varietal at once so we could do a side by side, so helpful when trying to discern the subtle differences. Our wine guide even opened up a few extra Bottles to augment our already robust tasting. We had a private room, and each setting had 8 glasses ready for the tasting. We ordered 2 different charcuteries along with extra baguette and butter, all delicious and the perfect accompaniment. We were a group of 5 and had the perfect "girls day" on a Monday! Best way to start the week!

Spent the afternoon at Domaine Serene- trying their amazing wines. We had the cheese, meat, sliders, potato chips and bread to match perfectly with our member tastings. Our sommelier Clara made the experience a 12/10! Clara wasn't just the best because of her knowledge or her skill in picking wines; it was because she made the entire experience unforgettable. Domaine Serene will always be special to me, not just because of the wine but because Clara turned a simple visit into a truly magical experience with even better friends!

We got a private tasting and tour as one of party is a club member. Luke was our guide and he was fun and knowledgeable. We were able to meet a few of the wine makers, right place right time. I'm going back!!

One star is sadly the lowest allowed! We were scammed at this winery. Be careful - especially with Michael in the Members tasting room. He made us many promises to join the Gran Cru wine club which were all false information. He told us we could stay on property for free as members ( not true, it'll take you 4 years to accrue enough points). He told us we would get a 6 course pairing dinner for 6-8 people each year - that doesn't exist at all. He told us that an average case was $1200 but we only had to commit to spending $1000/case 2x/year then proceeded to fill our first case with wines we liked without showing us the prices equating to 8 bottles at over $1200. The wine was good - but seriously, it wasn't that good. There are grocery store wines I like better. Seriously, be. Careful!

We had such a lovely time, wine tasting, and indulging in their house made potato chips. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view of Mount Hood from the property. This winery on the hilltop is really spectacular. They do have a large membership group of people that come.and offer them a special seating area. However, everyone is welcome, and as we arrived, we were met with a beautiful glass of sparkling wine.

Back again on a beautiful summer day after a long morning hike. This is our go to for a guaranteed great experience and it didn't disappoint. Did a tasting flight and cheese board and the service as well as the history and detail description of the wines was first rate. Pricey but a great experience as always!

We became members a couple of years ago and had the opportunity to return and take advantage of a couple of their member tastings. From the moment that we booked our two tasting until the moment that we left, everything was perfect. We had the best hosts that exposed us to not only the history of Domaine Serene but also their extensive wine collection. Everyone was so friendly and happy to answer any questions that we had. For our first tasting, we had the founders room all to ourselves. Immaculate room with a fireplace and full of glamour and peace! After our tastings, we had some time before our next appointment so we had the chance to purchase a bottle and enjoy a glass in their members room, we also took the remaining wine home with us. All in all, one of the best wineries in the Willamette valley and perhaps the world! Thank you for tow unforgettable experiences!

It was an OK vineyard. I didn't enjoy the wines but enjoyed the host. They aren't very personal and have absolutely no qualms about reminding you that you're not a member, which is off putting - but I digress. It definitely wouldn't be a place where I went out of my way to visit and I'll more than likely never be back ‍ $50 tasting and it's waived if you spend $100 on wine only

Definitely one of my favorite vineyards in the area! Absolutely beautiful interior and exterior, I love sitting outdoors during the summertime. The staff is warm and welcoming. Never had a bad experience here. We are always treated very well. As far and food and wine goes, both very delish. Definitely recommend getting the charcuterie board and the oysters. Good wine. Good food. Good vibes.

I've come here a couple times with friends now and it's always a good time. They have a limited snack menu with items such as breads, cheeses, oysters, charcuterie, and house made chips (which are amazing) and of course, an amazing selection of wine. Each time I come the staff is always so kind and knowledgable about their selection. Although the drive is a bit long from Portland, the views from the winery are scenic and the winery itself is beautiful. Everything that I've had here is amazing, from the wine to the snacks. If there was one thing I wish they changed, would be to have more food items rather than snacks (but I guess, they also have a stellar restaurant for that). Overall, amazing winery and I love coming here.

Domaine Serene is a beautiful winery! The scenery, the outside and inside of the establishment is beautiful. There's also a nice gift shop! The house made chips were delish as was the charcuterie. Service was friendly, albeit a bit slow. They were very accommodating and don't rush you out at closing and our winetender Jackson ensured all of our tastings were served. My only complaint would be that a reservation for 6 for a tasting and we were seated in a side extension room from the main tasting room and at times felt forgotten and the wine knowledge and talk could've been better. I know other tables needed tending to, so I'm trying to keep that in mind.

We have 4 of us visiting several wineries that day. Do they allow flight splitting? One person will drive and only wants a sip of everything.
