SB is the Oregon winery to visit. Their service is impeccable, always friendly-regardless of how busy they are you always feel like the priority guest-and they are extremely knowledgeable about all their wines. They have several spaces for tastings, both for members and guests new to SB, indoor and outdoor, kid and dog friendly, with an incredible view of the not only the vineyards but the mountains. They have several small bite food options, the charcuterie or cheese boards are perfectly paired with the tasting menu choices for that day, there was a fresh baked focaccia today that was heaven. Oh and I have not even mentioned the fantastic wines yet. Whether you are a red or white fan, like whole cluster or small, tannins or less tannins, sweet or full bodied reds, you can find them at SB. And that is not to say they make such a variety that they are spread thin cause that's what I would think if I read that. They are meticulous about every wine they make, it's special, has specific flavors, pairs with particular foods well, each year with its vintage that every one has their own favorites of. Service over the top. Here I had to buy some wine to take home. My choices were 2023 Willamette Valley Gamay Noir, 2022 Kalita Yamhill-Carlton Pinot Noir and the 2024 Willamette Valley Chardonnay. This is a family owned vineyard since 1971. What a beautiful vineyard. If you buy two bottles your tastings is complimentary. If you are a fan of Pinot Noir you need to not only go to Willamette Valley but include the Sokol Blosser in your tasting tour. read more

My wife and I visited Sokol BLosser for a tasting. We were staying at the Vintages Trailer resort , so we had a wine passport that allowed us a free tasting. The winery is a first class establishment, with a very nice tasting room, patio and facility. Jared was our host and was friendly, helpful and informative. We also enjoyed the small plates, especially the seasonal salad. We ended up coming back for a terrific glass of wine and snacks on the patio, which affords a great view. We visited a number of wineries and this was the most organized experienced while being very low key and enjoyable. Highly recommend. read more

We only dropped in for an hour or two but had an amazing experience and can't wait to go back. Service was quite attentive and gave us a little mini tasting of a wine that we were discussing. The venue as well is really cool - very modern vibe. Loved the large windows and wooden/black structure. I much prefer white wines and the white wines were delicious. Loved the ones they had one the white wine tasting menu and we ended up buying a bottle or two given how much we liked the wines. Came in on a whim to grab a bottle to bring back home. We didn't have a reservation or even have the time (kids in the car after Wings and Waves) but the gal at the front desk was so nice and told us she had some wines open and we could sample which ones we wanted. Incredible Farm and Forage 6 course tasting and wine pairing lunch experience. We would love a course and pairing, only to be even more impressed with the next course. We were surprised and even overwhelmed by the size and quality of each course. Such care was exhibited to have so much of each dish locally sourced. It was great to have chef provide his specific details on each course, and Sarah was really good with the wines. The black cod was exceptional, and the pork and beef dishes were amazing. A great variety of wines were exceptionally well paired, and the caramelly 2021 Chardonnay was a unique highlight, though all were excellent. We've done a number of multi-course tastings, and this one is not cheap, but it was fantastic! read more

We stopped by Sokol Blosser for a quick glass of wine, although I would have loved to spend more time and done a tasting! We visited on a chilly and overcast day, so we enjoyed our glasses inside - but I would love to visit in better weather and enjoy their outdoor space. The winery is welcoming and and with great ambience - I particularly love the wooden roofing, very appropriate for a winery. We all tried different wines, and I particularly loved my glass of Pinot Noir, even taking a bottle home with me to continue the enjoyment beyond our visit. Service was attentive enough and helpful in selecting wines for the less decisive. I loved all the servers fits, and I was so excited that they sold gear with similar vibes - I took home a Pinot Noir sweatshirt that at $35, felt like a great deal. I only wish we would have had more time during our visit, but I'm looking forward to returning again. read more

Sokol Blosser was one of our stops on our short time in Dayton. The grounds are lovely, and their tasting room was full of nearly panoramic views of the hills. Sara, our server, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoyed our wine and the charcuterie very much. Sokol Blosser felt a bit corporate-ish compared to our other stops, but their wine remains extremely enjoyable and you cannot beat the views on a clear sunny day. read more

We celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday weekend and kicked it off at Sokol Blosser. It was by far the best winery we visited. They were so accommodating of our very large group. We visited their amazing tasting room (on a Wednesday afternoon) in the Dundee Hills as part of a Wine Club Share Program with one of our wine clubs. We were greeted by a staff person when we checked in and made our choices from 3 different tasting flights. My wife had the Autumn Flight & I had the Reserve Flight (that way we got to share all of the wines). We took our glasses of sparkling wine tour table and spent the next 90 minutes exploring all of the wonderful offerings they had. The three different staff members that served us were very knowledgeable and informative about the wines and the vineyards from where the fruit came from (all welcoming information as I'm in the "industry" as a Wine Guide). We left with 5 bottles to add to our cellar and look forward to a return trip and I also look forward to bringing guests for my tour company ( A Great Oregon Wine Tour). read more

Architecture is where I begin this review. Modern. Angles. You walk up and see the earthen covered roof top. Slanted back to maximize the skyline intake. It's kinda cold looking, like maybe you are walking into a caved hillside. So well Designed you want to enter. That feeling immediately sheds away when you enter. The walls lined in wood planks. Floor to ceiling. You are greater with a warmth. The wine is everything PNW has to offer. Your Pinot Noir bell will be rung. The service is amazing. Everyone is there to ensure you maximize comfort. The terroir flight was so interesting featuring four pinot noirs grown on various soils developed on different bedrock or sediment. The unique characteristics, aromas, and flavors derived from these different soils was undeniable. It was so fascinating to learn about the local geology while sampling the wine. Staff was passionate and informative, and the views are incredible. We also loved all of the sustainable practices Sokol Blosser implements. read more

Recently rennovated, we did the tasting and learned that 2021 was a good year for the pinot noir grapes. We drank and shared a few different flights. I decided to get multiple bottles of the Mount Richmond Vineyard 2021pinot noir (our host really sold it well), which in fact I'm enjoying now as I write this review. It's young, as they say, but good and I'm not sure if it will age well, but I intend keep one bottled for some time to open later. Remember that you have to reserve a time for the tasting. read more

I love going to Sokol Blosser for events they host, birthday celebrations, or really any other time to go winetasting. Their property is beautiful, and so relaxing. Every time I go in, they greet me like we have known each other forever. The tasting room staff are superb and so knowledgeable. And the food, * chefs kiss*. Chef Jesus and his team never disappoint. My husband and I enjoy winetasting, and trying new things, but Sokol Blosser is always a go to for us. Their wines are also a staple at home. The estate rosé of Pinot Noir is my favorite and I keep it on hand for any occasion, but I love a good glass of bluebird any day, maybe a random Tuesday. read more

The staff, the wines, the property and the snacks are amazing; making this one of our favorite wineries to visit! Perfect for a solo tasting or a group. We've been outside in the back and inside and both experiences are great. An unpretentious winery that's wine far exceeds a few of the "big shot, whose who" neighboring wineries. You feel at home here and will walk away feeling full of wine and knowledge about why you liked what you liked. It's great to learn about the wines in a more casual way, no snobbery just a great experience! We are highly addicted to their popcorn and the whites the server suggested to go with them, yes wine and popcorn pairing for the win.
