They said it would cost $420 to pump the tank and they came up and looked at it and said I have to remove some of the deck before they pump the tank, so I removed part of the deck and called them back. When they came back, they charged me another $420. So the first $420 that they charged me was just for looking at it! Getting my tank pumped ended up costing me $840 instead of $420 like I was quoted. I did the labor of tearing out my deck myself and they still charged me double! When I called and spoke to the manager or owner "Robert," he told me "We charged you twice to inspect your tank, since we had to inspect it twice." So I was charged $840 to have my tank pumped a single time. Once this was all over, I called Thrifty Septic Service just to get a quote. They told me they would charge me $175 for an inspection. Anyhow, I strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere. Thrifty Septic is far more reasonable. read more

This service is basically dishonest and overcharges for what they do. I ask them to come pump my tank and the office explain it they would add a $225 "digging fee" for any tank lower than 12" in the ground. Mine was 24" deep so I paid an teenage worker to dig it up. They were 2 hours late to pump the tank with no notice from the office. I ask for an estimate on risers to pump the tank in the future without having to do the digging. I next received the bill which was $550 for a 1000 gallon tank. I called the office expressing my surprise since the last pumping was $265 five years prior. The office receptionist said it was because the dump fee was increasing at the end of April so they raised their rates April 1st. I stated it seemed unfair to raise the rate now since the new dump fee had not gone into effect. She stated that is the fee period. The price of the risers was $425 so I declined. I ask if the worker's would come back and fill in the dirt into the hole which is normally included in the $550 charge. She said it would be $125 to come put the dirt back in and it is about a 15 minute job. She said the owner now said the $550 if for pumping only and not for digging or filling the hole contradicting her earlier statements. I refused to pay this extra filling fee and said I would take care of it. I plan to file a complaint with the state contractors license board over misleading estimates and claims of charges. Businesses like this are looking for any angle to "assess" extra charges and think they can take advantage of consumers trust. This company demonstrates a lack of integrity in their practices and is only interested in their bottom line. Sadly, the owner is so short sighted that he does not realize his demand for a filling fee served to lose me as a customer which really cost him many hundreds of dollars in the future plus lose of potential referrals. Do not do business with this dishonest con artist. read more

Well, I haven't YET had my Aunt's septic (holding) tank pumped BUT I did call Domenic's to see if they could do it (an RV) and the young lady on the phone named Jenelle was AWESOME !!! She was VERY informational, VERY nice, AND funny !!! I would go with Domenic's just because of her fantastic customer service which you don't see/get at a lot of places anymore !!! :) :) read more

The office staff was very kind and helpful. The owner came by was exceptionally informative and patient with me while I asked him several questions taking time out of his day. I did not have an appointment only a concern about a past visit that turned out to have nothing to do with the work they did. He was professional, informative, and best of all patient. read more

Dominic's Septic Service told me the service to pump my septic tank would be $485.00 so I told them to pump my tank. When they got to my house they said to inspect the tank would be $260.00 but that that amount would be credited to the $485.00 once they did the job when they came back after I took apart the deck that was over the tank. So I spent several hours taking apart the deck and had them come back the following week. The workers came back and opened the lids and spent an hour removing some roots from a tree and pumped the tank and said,"The office will send you a bill for the rest of the amount and add another $125.00 for the extra hour we spent removing the roots." which would amount to $485.00 + $125.00 = $610.00 minus the $260.00 I already paid which should have been $350.00. But when the bill came it was for an additional $610.00. I called the office and they said, "We had to charge you twice for the inspection." But all they had to do was pull open the lids which took all of one minute. So I was overcharged $350.00. When I called the office again and talked to Robert, the owner he said, "We had to charge you to inspect the tank twice for $260.00. So I was charged $870.00 to have my tank pumped. After all this I decided to call Thrifty Septic Service and they said they'd only charge me $175.00 once for an inspection and not twice for an inspection to look under the lids so I feel that Dominic's Septic Service ripped me off. read more

We had Domenic's come out today to clean our septic tank since it had been probably 2 1/2 years since it had been done (which was prior to us purchasing our house). While some companies might have taken advantage of our lack of experience, the guys from Domenic's told us that our septic tank didn't even need cleaning - so instead of charging us the $300-ish for cleaning it, they were totally honest and only charged an $85 inspection fee and said they'd see us in a few years. I would have given Dominec's a much better rating if they had not ruptured seven lines in our sprinkler system and driven over some of our sprinkler heads. They did not do their homework by contacting our property manager and gardening service before they started digging so the lines could be flagged. While they have agreed to partially compensating us for the damage, they have not taken responsibility for the error in the first place. They will have you sign a contract that says they are not responsible for any damage to landscaping or other systems so buyer beware. read more

Today Eddie, from Domenic's Septic service, came out to clean out our septic tank. He did a fantastic job cleaning the tank and he went the extra mile to make sure the line from the house was clean.
