To the heavyset lady to took our order: you're rude. Leave your baggage at the door before you walk into work. Why make the rudest person in your restaurant as a waitress/first point of contact for customers to see? As we were trying to order, she was not friendly and short when we would ask questions. She seemed irritated that we were even there trying to order food. The sandwich didn't come with anything but meat, cheese, and a couple condiments. i could've gone to a market and made these sandwiches myself for less money and it would've tasted better. My husband's ham and cheese with mayo and mustard seemed to be ok but it was still plain. My turkey sandwich was dry and the bread didn't taste like sourdough at all. $12 for my sandwich and $14 for my husband's. Will never come back and will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Subject: Disappointed by Today's Experience I've been a longtime fan of Dominis and was genuinely excited to visit the shop today, especially after hearing that although it was sold, the menu was still available under new ownership. I walked in feeling hopeful. There were three employees present: a teenage boy making sandwiches, an older woman stocking the fridge, and a young woman standing near the counter. Not one of them greeted me when I entered, and I stood waiting patiently. Another customer confirmed he'd already ordered, and a few minutes later, someone else walked in. The young woman at the counter approached him to take his order. To his credit, he pointed at me and told her that I had been there before him. Despite this, she said I walked in after him, and he again said I was there first. When I POLITELY confirmed I had been there first, she responded with rudeness. Frustrated but still calm, I said, "Never mind, that's okay," and began to leave--until I heard her speak to my back, "Geez, I don't need an attitude from you." The man who had tried to help me was visibly shocked. That comment was not only uncalled for but also unprofessional. I stopped in my tracks and stated, "I showed no attitude; however, yours has ensured I won't be back." Dominis was known for its phenomenal customer service and genuine care for their customers and community. I am genuinely saddened by how this young woman chose to treat a customer. Jam packed protein sandwiches... My favorite is the Turkey, Pepper jack cheese, on French bread with their wonderful sweet hot mustard (honey mustard)... Sadly it has changed and the quality is not what it used to be. In addition the woman who was filling popcorn bags at the front counter was so rude and grumpy that we almost left. We went here after a meeting as may car was nearby. I had forgotten how great this place is! The popcorn is a nice touch. Their sandwiches are still a good deal. I tried the tuna for the first time and it was excellent. The best part? Service with a smile. When we left, my buddy had half his sandwich left and the guy even asked if he wanted more popcorn with it. The 2023 "Bets Of" Inlander rated Domini's number one for sandwiches. So, I decided to seek them out. It is a smallish space that mainly caters to a take-out trade. I ordered two roast beef sandwiches with pickles and chips. Each sandwich chips and pickle was wedged into a paper bag half-full of fresh popcorn. The sandwiches were packed with meat and a generous amount of horseradish. When I got home, we dove into those babies like we were starving! This hidden restaurant was recommended to my by a local. It's been around for about 60 years. I walked in and they told me that I could sit anywhere. The server was friendly explained to me how ordering worked. There are three different size sandwiches (Tiny, Small and Full). I ordered the small and it was more than I could eat. You pick your bread, meat, cheese and condiments. There are no vegetables (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.) available which is fine by me since I don't put them on my sandwiches. I ordered a pastrami with swiss on sourdough. The sandwich came out fast. It was large with a bunch of meat and had good flavor. The only thing that would make it better if it was heated on a grill but they don't do that. I added the sweet and spicy mustard to it which the brought on the side. The sandwich was decent sized (but for over 15 for a dry sandwich I would hope so). Rather than that...The service was terribly slow for the 3 people in the restaurant, servers were incredibly rude, it looks like the place hasn't been cleaned since I was there almost 10 years ago, sandwich bread was dry, meat and cheese warm and rubbery.
