I am in town for a conference and had some time to kill so, i decided to find some good NJ pizza. Found this place nearby and stopped in. Felt good to walk into a local Jersey spot and the first bite of my cheese slice brought me back to childhood. Just can't get proper pizza like this out in California! I used to work in this area and this was my go to place for Friday lunch. I was on an assignment in the area when my car clock ticked over to noon just as I drove by. I ran in for two slices and a soda and it was like going home ... the classic Jersey pizza. Tasty, the right amount of cheese, a thin crust with good. "Tooth" and a bill under $10. A local gem. I really like Dominicks pizza in Gladstone. It's consistent, great crust and tasty sauce. I've never order anything else from here.

Pizza was good, but otherwise pretty mediocre entrees. The chicken parm and eggplant parm were disappointing.

Their pizza hit the spot last night. We've tried a few local places, but really like this place the most. Ordered a large pie and it was ready within 15 mins. We'll certainly be back the next time we're craving. read more

Dominick's is the best pizza in the area. At one point, it was the only food I could get my son to eat. The meatball sandwiches are excellent and the guys are friendly and efficient. Parking is limited but spots openly quickly with take out customers. read more

Ordered a pizza 5:30 Tuesday night. We got there and they made the wrong one. He offered to make a new one, but I would have to wait another 25 min. I said sell me the wrong one at 1/2 price. The owner went off on me and told me how he makes very little profit on pizzas. So I told him we were leaving and he got very angry! Not a bad spot for takeout pizza, good quality. We tried entrees and were not as impressed with the quality or portion sizes on the chicken parm. This came with one and a half pieces of chicken. The one cutlet was clearly cut in half after cooking. Won't order the entrees from here, but will be back for pizza night. They have a small patio to eat at which is also convenient for dining with your dog if looking for a dog friendly place while passing through town. Nothing fancy but does the job. read more

It's ok; not great. In fairness, I've only had the pizza. With pizza places, what stands out are those where it's excellent, or lousy. This is neither; it's...ok. Tiny little place, and as far as I know, it's the only place where you can get takeout pizza in the area. Best pizza in the area. Pasta dishes are good too. More flavor and sauce than Alfanzos. Great fresh bread, and sandwiches. They take preorders by phone, or go old school and watch the tv while you dine there. Prices are average for the area. read more

I've been living in Southwest Ohio for nigh on 28 years but grew up in this area and ALWAYS stop in when I visit relatives in Pottersville. Folks, if you live locally you are blessed to have Dominick's. Outside of cities and good ol' NJ, the vast middle of this fine nation doesn't know real pizza and Dominick's is the traditional Jersey real thing of my youth. It took nearly 20 yrs. in SW Ohio for us to have good NJ pizza...and that was because the owners were from NJ!; Westfield and Boonton respectively. My wife is from South Jersey so also knows goood pizza. So, suffice to say, great pizza, good pasta & salad, calzones & stromboli at Dominick's can't be beat! Only gripe is that they say they deliver but not to "downtown" Pottersville (only 3.5 miles ) but the scenery and ambiance is worth the drive. Highly recommended, Highly satisfied! read more

DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PEOPLE! if i could give a negative star i would. Asked for delivery, they made me reach a $20 dollar minimum ( and only deliver to a 3 mile radius) ((we are less then a mile)), i got to $18, they said i needed to order more,i ordered 2 drinks and my total when they came here was $26 dollars. We called and they said "theres a delivery fee", well then say that when i F#@%ING CALL! And the total should had still never been that high even still. I've lived in this town for 12 years and was excited to find out and support a local business but was regretfully disappointed by there rude additude, high prices and terrible tasting food. This is my go to for pizza and my family has ordered from them almost once a week for years now. Given how close they are to home it doesn't really make sense to order pizza from anywhere else on a regular basis. The prices are completely reasonable and the pizza is good, nothing to write home about though. The staff is friendly and they keep the place clean. They make the pizza very quickly, about 20 mins, which is a huge plus when you're starving. Their pizza is better than the Gladstone Market's pizza which by default makes them best in town. However for anything other than pizza I'd pick the Market. We've served their pizza at many gatherings and there's never been a complaint as a matter of fact people almost always remark that the pizza is quite good. read more

I agree with some other reviewers--it's the best pizza for miles around. You're going to pay a little more, but you get what you pay for. The pizza's best feature, it's genuine thin crust, without hanging limp from your hand. I've worked in pizzerias, and I'll tell you, that is not easy to do, which is why it's rare outside NYC. read more
