I had my birthday party over at Burnt Mills Cider last weekend, and I pre-ordered 8 pizzas and 1 tray of baked ziti (2 days prior, just to be on the safe side) for delivery from Roman Pizza. I am so glad that I did! The pizzas were cheese, pepperoni, sweet Italian sausage, and, by my request, a baked ziti pizza. The person who took my order asked if I wanted ricotta on it, and I am SO glad he asked, as I would've forgot to say no (as much as I love ricotta in regular baked ziti, on a pizza it would've been a bit too much). The order arrived right at the agreed-upon time, and it was exactly as I wanted. My friends who were at the party are originally from various places in NJ, PA, and Chicago, and they all loved the food. 28 people and only half of a pie and less than 1/4 of the baked ziti tray was left--that should tell you something! They made for great next-morning leftovers! Roman Pizza is about a half hour from me, but anytime I'm in the area (probably to drink more cider!), I know what I'll be eating. We order from Roman all the time and I have been patronizing Roman Pizza since I was a child. Nick knows us by name and the service is excellent. Food is always hot, even when we order delivery. The food is freshly made and excellent quality. We have ordered from every category on the menu including multiple trays for parties. Just tried this place recently. Got a plain pie and it was fantastic. The best pizza in the area. Most other pizzerias have been on the salty side and the pizza from Roman was not. The crust was sweet and had a great consistency that was a balance of soft and crispy. Found a new go to spot for pizza. read more
