Reposting because I noticed my review was taken down…read more I brought my 2018 Mazda CX-5 Touring (62k Miles) into Sieman's on 2/4/25 at noon because my engine was misfiring which caused it to stall. I got a call the same day, just a few hours later telling me my vehicle was ready for pick up. I came to retrieve my vehicle, paid the $700 bill and hit the highway.. on my way home from the dealership my engine stalled again once I attempted to accelerate to 60 mph, with a semi truck behind me. Very scary, and I feel extremely blessed to be here today. I immediately called the dealership to let them know I was on my way back because it was clear my engine had not been fixed. Tyler let me know that if no one is still there working and the entrances are blocked off by the time I arrived, to park my car outside the lot, leave my key fob in an envelope and they'd take a look at it the next day. Unacceptable response. A few minutes later I made it back to the dealership and had to park my car outside their property because the entrances were indeed blocked off as though no one was expecting me back. Tyler met me outside the lot a few minutes later and as we made the trek to the building from the blocked off entrance, he assured me he'd get me a nice rental car for the inconvenience which ended up being a 2010 Ford Taurus (170k miles). Any further updates on my vehicle over the next couple days from Tyler were less than pleasant due to poor customer service. Later I received a call from the master mechanic, Dave, apologizing for what happened-accepting full responsibility for my vehicle not being fixed the first time. I was informed that a spark plug designed for an entirely different make/model was put into my vehicle. This was done because he wanted to avoid waiting for the correct part to be ordered.. I find this interesting because I'd be paying the correct part price on my bill. I interpret this as shady and lazy. But.. He was extremely professional as well as humble and let me know that I would not be responsible for bill and would be refunded the full amount of what I'd paid. Marty delivered my vehicle back to me in Benton Harbor the following business day. Marty and Dave were definitely the redeeming factors and turned an awful experience into something slightly more pleasant. Update (03/02/2025): Unfortunately my engine still doesn't allow me to accelerate the way it used to before I brought it to SIEMANS, and the engine still misfires when I start it. I would not recommend this dealership.

This dealer has rarely fixed a problem I had and has made it a point to fleece me at every turn. I highly recommend you go elsewhere. Here is my experience. 1) Car creaks when stopping or starting. I have driven 100's of cars in my life and never experienced anything like it. Signature says normal body noise. 2) Water pools in the door after rain or car wash and gushes out. My fear was freezing water would damage the paint. Nothing they can do. 3) Paint on my Blue Hyundai peels since 30k miles. I made the mistake of thinking I could take it in later because I bought the 100k platinum warranty. Blue paint only covered for 36k miles but white is extended. 4) Engine light came on for several days and went off. If they scan the code and find one in history its covered. If they don't have to pay them 170 dollars to scan the codes. One hour of a techs time. Sorry but a tech doesn't make 170 dollars an hour that is the dealer charging profit. 5) They put their dumb sticker on the car when I asked them not to. Refused to take it off. I had to peel it off myself but little did I know I just had to wait for the paint to peel off anyway. 6) Poor design from Hyundai exposes a lead screw that moves the driver seat. Seat was jammed. Turned out a dime cut lodged in there because it is exposed. 100 dollars to tell me that. If you still want a Hyundai Kia go to Michigan City. I have gotten multiple people to not buy from Signature and one of them had a problem that Michigan City took 3 weeks to fix. They gave them a brand new rental and through on a set of tires for the trouble. No way Signature would do that. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

There was no pressure to buy just answers to questions I had. Before I bought the car there were a couple of concerns I had and they were fixed immediately. My husband had had a stroke and was not able to be a part of the process. It was a coolant sensor which cost $466.00 to repair with the additional extended warranty, so he paid it. A month later the check engine light came on again so he bought a code scanner and found out it was a misfire in cylinder 1 so he took it back to their service department to be fixed but the service rep listened to the engine running and told him it could be the spark plug and the coil pack. He told him it would cost a lot more for West Point to fix it and it would be cheaper to fix himself. So he did. A month later the check engine light came on again. He finally had to take it in to their service department to look at because the car would not accelerate on the highway. They told us it would be 2 weeks before they could even look at it, so he left it hoping they would look at it sooner if someone cancelled. Surprise. We had to call them after 3 weeks to find out what was wrong with the car. My son was told the head gasket was a bust and it would be too much time to repair and they couldn't get parts for 2 months. The best option was to replace it with a used engine that had 78,000 miles on it for 7100 dollars. They handed me an invoice for 10,644 dollars in order to repair the car, but said that wasn't the cost! We confronted Jason about selling stripped down warranties where important boxes on page 4 were not checked and he said that would have been a surcharge. We never even saw those boxes at the time of sale nor did we have the surcharge option. I asked the service department to produce denial paperwork for the repairs and I asked the warranty company to produce denial paperwork. I still haven't gotten it and that was more than 2 weeks ago. In a nut shell, they sold us a car they knew had these issues because there is literally a class action law suit brought against Ford for this very problem and probably used a sealant like KSeal to hide the problem for a while, sold us a stripped down DOWC (which stands for dealer owned warranty company) and then basically told us there was nothing they could do about it and pretty much they didn't care. In addition their service department guy wanted to assault my fiancé in the parking lot and then called the police on us. The Better Business Bureau has been contacted and a complaint has been filed along with a complaint to the Michigan department of the Attorney General. If you have gotten to this point, you can contact me at kapage1970@yahoo.com and I will be happy to pass along any information in regards to what I have found out about the warranties and their shady business practices.

I spent $70,000 at this location and they lied to me from the moment I walked through the door. At one point I really trusted them and they showed me that you can't trust this car dealerships because they're all carnival barkers. I told them specifically I do not buy vehicles that have ever been in an accident.! They assured me this vehicle wasn't in an accident after I buy the vehicle and get the Carfax in my email I find out the vehicle has been in an accident. I spoke with the general manager about my concerns and he said began immediately deflecting responsibility stating they don't know if vehicles are in an accident or not, but in the same breathe said they have car faces on every vehicle that comes through the door. On the website when I looked at the truck said it was accident free, but when I get the carfax in my email it completely contradicts everything they said online. Then I canceled some warranties because they lied to me about the cost, the assistant finance manager told me the finance manager cancels the warranties. The finance manager herself told me she cancels the warranties, but when I called because the haven't been canceled yet, she said some other lady cancels them. Then conveniently it went from 3 to 4 weeks to eight weeks for a warranty cancellation. I've been buying vehicles for 30 years and this is not my first warranty cancellation, she didn't cancel them like she said she was going to and when I called to check on them now she's canceling them. Instead of just saying, she made a mistake like most everybody else at the LeValley Chevrolet she chose to lie. and when I mention that this seems to be a pattern to Tad who identify as the General Manager he acted like he was offended, and that he's never gotten a bad review but all you have to do is click negative reviews on their Google reviews and there's literally pages of them dictating the same thing that I just said.. Be prepared, if they treated me this way they're gonna treat you that way as well.

I am a college student here in Michigan and owner…read moreof my 2001 ford f-150 2.6L v6 for an engine swap last year around november december because of a low pressure failing cylinder 5. When I took it in I was told I would get a call back with the pricings for as new engine. When I recived my estimate, I went ahead for the engine swap. For a 6000$ job I was told I was told by a man named frank, I would be getting a well done job within a few weeks and within the time frame of repair, a rental car for no charge only charge for gas. The job had taken almost over a course of a month and a half and when I went back I was being helped by a women named Sue who gave me attitude the whole time my truck was in shop until she was later fired. After time went on I recived my truck almost half a month later and it was not running right and they told me to run it to ford for an obd scan that they did not have in their system and I was also told I needed an entire new exhaust system because the catalytic converters were gone and the pipes were rusted. I spent 1000$ on that job to get it fixed and when I did they told me the engine was not right and it wasn't the exhaust system it was still the engine. The truck was DANGEROUS and BARLEY OPERATIONAL. It would turn off on me completly while driving. I was driving to ford on the highway and I felt the truck slowing down, I came to realize my truck died and did not want to turn on causing a near accident. Ford charged me for a $685 to tell me that Cylinder 1 was failing because of low pressure, misfire caused of bad timing, and also that my injectors had seemed to be broken during the process of an engine swap causing the truck to die. After I recived my truck from ford it ran a whole lot better. I ran it straight to deals on wheals shop and gave them the issue. Their response was they could not take it in because they fired their mechanic and were loooking for a new one. So my dad flew over from California to help me fix this problem and to help me focus on my finalsand in the meantime he drove me around to school and back. When they finally took it in I was getting in trouble with their rental cars and being accused of issues the car was having when I took it back. They wanted to charge me for a new tire and damges I was accused of causing even though they were already there. After finally the truck was ready for pick up, it ran a whole lot better but still seemed to die. I was told I needed an entire new exhaust system because the catalytic converters were gone and the pipes were rusted. I spent $1200 on that job to get it fixed and when I did they told me the engine was not right and it wasn;t the system it was still the engine. So my dad flew over from California to help me fix this problem and help relive the stress to focus on school, in the meantime he drove me around to school and back. The truck was sent in for repair and when recived I asked sue "if I break down on the way home God forbid how will I get it back here" her response was we will send a tow for you here with no cost. It semmed to run so much better after the second engine swap and didn't give much trouble other than some misfire here and their but I was told "it was just the new engine getting gas and its normal". When school was out I drove it all the way to california. This trip turned into a living hell for me and my dad!!!! We broke down in Illinois and when I called to get a Tow back to their shop I was told their would be a fee. So we slept in the truck at a gas station. The following morning I called a tow to the nearest mechanic. I was told that the harmonic balancer was rubbing on the crankshaft position sensor causing it to short. They did a temp. fix at a cost so I could get home. I had a low budget and no choice but to get it fixed. I got to Iowa where I broke down on the HIGHWAY!! for a SECOND time!!! We got a hotel slept the night and waited until the following day to pick up my truck. We had been told that the harmonic balancer was not put in right and it caused the teeth to break on and the crankshaft position sensor top break and the anti-freeze and fluids had not been changed. They showed me how dirty it was and suggested I get it replaced. They also said the oil was not good and needed to be replaced. I was charged about $600 for their job. In after getting it all fixed and situated we got to vegas and the tempeture levels were through the roof!! There was not enough fluid and the anti-freeze dirty. (Keep in mind no one touched fluids) Me and my dad added anti-feeze and it got us home. Until the second day where the truck just gave out. We took it to ford and they told me the engine was seized up. Oil pressure was not good at all and the oil was really black like as if was never changed. Save your money and go to a REAL mechanic shop!!!

We were told we needed a new engine. We were told it would have taken 4 days. 4 days turned into 2 weeks. When we got the truck back, we returned for our 1,000-mile oil change with engine issues; we were told it would be fixed with normal use. However, this was not true, and we left it for service. We were told they did not know the issue, and they ordered a new engine. After engine two, there were still issues, which we then decided to take to Ford, where we received a printout from Ford saying there was low compression on cylinder 1. A new engine was ordered and installed, and after another 2/3 weeks of being lied to, we finally received the truck back "ok." We drove to California and broke down numerous times. One mechanic stated the work was shoddy and sloppy, his exact words being, "Any respectable shop would clean all components and install the new parts and not strip parts off the old engine." The engine was sized once we made it to California the next day. We found metal shavings in the oil as well as a gray sludge. I ultimately need a third engine replacement. We spoke to the owner and were told that they were going to do nothing and that they "lost money" by adding and removing parts that they did not charge us. My answer is thats your problem cuased by, poor engine supplier choice, and shaddy work. The owner also stated that he would have denied service if he had known this truck had come in. He also stated he had asked the mechanic why he took this in and was assured it was a good deal. This is evident that this shop is a scam and a crook. We will be reporting to the state and all relevant government agencies.
