During the inspection, the sales representative told me that I could not have bought the tires in 2024 because the manufacturer's date, which is stamped on the wall of each tire, is different from the purchase date I provided. Turns out two of the tires were from 2020, the original purchase year of my vehicle, and the other two were from 2021. Prognosis: I needed 4 new tires due to the wear factor of each tire. Once the original bill of sale was produced, I was told that it must have been a manufacturer's error and that the Michelin Primacy tire I purchased isn't very popular, so the manufacturer must have shipped Discount Tire old tires, and the store didn't realize it. The very same day, my wife had an appointment with the same Discount Tire to have a flat repaired. I was told that she drove on the flat for too long and that the tire needed to be replaced. I informed the manager that this was not the case. The drive's flat tire went flat less than 50 feet from my driveway, and the car sat until our scheduled appointment. The manager stated that it was a bad tire and suggested I buy 4 new tires because the tires on the vehicle were hard to locate and match. He also said that he believed that the whole was too large to repair. At that point, I asked the manager to place the tire back in the hatch of my vehicle, so that I could drive the vehicle across the street to the dealer who had just performed a full inspection of the vehicle, including the tires, not more than a week before the flat. The dealer provided a written inspection report, showing that my 2024 vehicle was tip-top, including the tires. At that point, the manager of Discount Tire took the flat tire into his shop, where it was concluded that the tire was not faulty and that it could be repaired.

The man was so nice and checked for local repair shops for us since they don't carry tires in stock. Then offered to put air in our tire. They also closed at 6:00 but stayed a few minutes late to help us out the best he could!

I may have had less professional experiences with a business, but I can't think of a single one…read morenow. I went in after suffering a flat on a new tire and brand new car. I'm talking less than 2 months on the road. There was nothing on the tire to suggest I had hit a nail or other road hazard. Basically, several employees there told me it was my fault I got the flat and they weren't willing to call Goodyear to inquire about the warranty so I had to pay them the full ~$200 for a tire and labor costs. They also very rudely said that if I had any issue with the new tire I bought from them, there was no guarantee / warranty on the new one either! Decided to get a second opinion. Went to Discount Tire on Napier Ave in Benton Harbor and explained my situation. They made no promises but contacted Goodyear to ask about it. Turns out it was covered because spoiler, it wasn't my fault and Goodyear corporate stands by their products. In any case, had it replaced by them and haven't had any issues since. And there's a warranty on it if anything else happens over the life of the tire. I asked at another shop for my own curiosities, and basically this place should have at least called corporate. As far as I can see, this is a scam shop. Do yourself a favor and don't go here.

My vehicle was backed into and the tail hatch back was bent in a hit n run but thanks to a witness…read morethe guy was caught and his insurance paid for the worst example of craftsmanshit ive ever seen from them. up until now they were top dog but either i pissed them off or they have morons working there. there was a separate part that attached to the tail gate hatch that was discolored like it been in the sun or they buffed to finish off it. looked like total crap. worse then the actual damage as to why i took it there. so i went right back in and unknowingly got the owner who came out so i could show him and first he said it wasn't part of the lift gate so them i opened it to show him it was, and then he said it was held on by 2 rivets and the original unblemished in perfect condition was still on the old lift gate and they could change it right now. ( instead of it already been changed before they called me saying it was done) . so i waited a half hour and when they brought it back out the vehicle was now full of tiny scratches that were not here before. then i noticed the body lines didn't match up on the tail gate to quarter panel which the owner mentioned it was a american car . after going thru the pictures taken when it was first dropped of it showed those scratches where not there when i brought it in. the owner told me to bring it back the coming Monday as it was Friday afternoon then, and he would get it fixed. so all weekend i stewed thinking about it and come Monday i took it back . then i kept getting these survey emails so i eventually responded and pretty much described the crap job honestly that they tried to sell me. 2 days later i get a call the vehicle is done and they read the survey which they were not happy about. when i went to pick it up it looked good but i only was looking a the back.after i got it home in the garage i noticed a new dent coming from the inside pointing out on the middle of the driver side quarter panel. already fed up i figured im gonna sell it as i do not trust it anymore.. well tonight after its been sitting in my garage since i pulled it in then, i noticed the finish ground off on the top of the door panel where it meets the roof. I will never take a vehicle or recommend them to anyone now. either they hired a moron or someones bent on discouraging people from trusting them to do the job right. unfrikenbelievable is the word. seems every time i return it to have the job done right it comes back with other damage. what was one a accident free impeccable body now looks like crap. Walked around the car checked out what was going on and then I set an appointment for the next week for a diagnostic. They took pictures and I agreed to move forward with replacing front and rear brake pads. Came with a warranty of 24k miles/or 24 mos. They offered the bundle deal which I thought was a great deal. Although I am a woman and show up by myself, I know a little bit about cars, and got a pretty good idea about the current market value of parts, labor, and tax, these guys gave an honest quote. Dropped off the car at 9 a.m. and they texted back at 12:30 p.m. that the car was ready. I will use them again and definitely will refer them to others Thank you for the great customer service.
