Overall the pizza and ordering is great. Shout out to the team. My problem is the delivery. It says my pizza was out and going to be delivered in 15 min. Then a few minutes later it went to 30 min. Then it changed again. It changed about 4 times to a later time and finally it was delivered an hour later even though people had been waiting to eat and hour earlier. If the delivery was going to be later then why doesn't the app tracker say so. Why have me get the kids ready and an hour later they were very cranky and already snacking on things. Oh, Domino's...how you've let us down. As far as "fast food" pizza goes, Domino's was our family favorite. We loved the price. We loved the sauce options. We also have always had awesome delivery drivers...friendly and efficient. However, the customer service and time from ordering to delivery OR carry-out is terrible. We had an issue where I called ahead for a big order...I called a day ahead for delivery the next day. I paid ahead, and was assured by the person who took my call that there would be no issue. I ordered for 6pm...at 8pm we still didn't have pizzas. During that time, we called, checked the app, etc. with no human contact at all. Last week, a similar thing happened. My husband used the app to place an order. The amount was immediately taken from our bank account. About 15 minute later, he checked the progress of the pizza on the app and it said "order cancelled". What? Who cancelled it and who took the payment anyway? My husband called the store. He was hung up on. He called back and was put on hold. He stayed on hold and drove to the store. There were only 2 people working. I'm sure they were stressed and overwhelmed, BUT if you can't take a phone call-don't answer it and hang up or answer and stick them on hold. Be honest. "We're slammed so it may take me several minutes to get back in touch with you"...DEFINITELY don't process the payment then cancel the order...WITHOUT TELLING THE PERSON THE ORDER WAS CANCELLED. Either it has taken literally HOURS to get the pizza, or we get the wrong pizza, or we get nothing at all... I'm not sure what's going on here, but they always tell us they are "understaffed" or there is "only one driver". My question is actually to Domino's and not to this particular franchise. Why are you not paying staff better wages? Do you not care at all about how you're perceived in the community? On numerous occasions the pizzas have taken over an hour to be delivered, but we kept trying them. The last experience finished us off from Dominos for good though. Order 2 pizzas on the app, paid for them, and waited....and waited....and waited. After an hour, I checked the 'pizza tracker' and it said our order had been canceled, and we had received no notifications or emails, yet our card had been charged. Called to see what happened - was hung up on. Called back - was told he would be right back to explain why the order was canceled, and put on hold. After holding for 10 minutes, I drove to store - still on hold. Walked into the store and was ignored until I made an employee talk to me. The employee literally said that my card should be refunded within 3-5 days, and walked off. There's rarely a quality complaint, aside from the temperature (duh, a 2 hours old pizza delivered isn't going to be warm), but as others have said, delivery is ridiculous and the management doesn't seem to be very helpful when you call about it. I've ordered from this location several times, and while it's never been bad--something is always "not quite right" with my order. I love well-done (browned & bubbly cheese), and appreciate that they have this option on their online ordering system--but I have yet to get a pizza prepared this way. Tonight takes the cake on order disappointment. We ordered our pizza over 1.5 hours ago, and still have yet to receive it. The pizza tracker App even showed our order as delivered 30 min ago. Called the location twice and got no real reason for the delay, other than to say that our driver had 5 orders and that the cashier had no idea where he went first. When we mentioned the discrepancy with the app, she tells us "...see, this is why I don't do stuff online." No apologies, just admission that they didn't really know what was going on either.
