I got into town and wanted some food. I never had Firehouse Subs. As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted by both employees with a friendly "Welcome to Firehouse Subs". Update: After learning about my experience, the owner contacted me on a holiday weekend to apologize and make it right. Word of caution, this location gets very busy. I would order ahead if you can, or bring your patience hat. Original review: What a nightmare of an experience!!! I went in today around 12:20 to grab a sandwich. I was the first person in line. I ordered, paid and waited, and waited, and waited.... Finally I asked someone how much longer it would be. They said there were 5 orders ahead of mine. I told them I have to go to an appointment and I'd be back in a couple of hours and not to make my sandwich. I came back starving at 2:45 and waited, and waited and waited... Nobody was at the register. I told the guy making sandwiches about my earlier visit, showed him my receipt and he went to the back. I waited again. He came back and said he didn't know what to do and asked me to wait some more, at this point all I wanted was a refund, he couldn't help with that either. I was about to lose my $H!T so I left before things got crazy. So I'm out $10 and about 40 mins of my day, and no sandwich to show for it. WTF??!! read more

My mom and I stopped in to grab a quick dinner. We walked in around 8:30 to place our order. The lady at the register did not greet us and was very dry, and not polite. After we got our food which was cold and thrown together, we sat down to eat quickly before driving home. The other lady working rolled her eyes and shook her head that we had sat down. She then grabbed the vacuum cleaner and started vacuuming the whole restaurant while we were eating forcing us to sit in silence. Running into our chairs and our feet looking at us the whole time she did it. At 8:58 the lady stopped vacuuming and looked at us and said, "y'all have two minutes and then you have to leave or I'm calling the cops." She said the dining room closes at 8:30 and the doors are locked at 9. Nowhere was it posted that the dining room closes, nor were we told when we ordered. The open sign was even still on. We were not spoken to nicely or with respect but yet threatened to have the cops called on us if we did not leave the building at 9:00 on the dot without finishing our sandwiches. We will NEVER be back to this location. This is unacceptable behavior for any establishment and to have employees like this is just a disgrace to firehouse. Those lady's will cause more guests to never return if this is how they continue to treat their customers. Would give zero stars if it would allow. read more

Okay, so I haven't been to this Firehouse Subs location in 2 years because of the customer service I got last time. In a nutshell, it took forever to get my food, some of the employees were chatting it up during lunch rush hour with a friend that stopped in, and on a tight lunch break, it's a deal breaker for me. Since it has been 2 years, I finally decided today, I would go back because I do like their food. sad to say, it took 15 minutes from the time I ordered until they called my name. That may sound picky, but I can drive to Subway, order to go, and get back to work in 20 minutes. When it takes me 5 minutes to get there, 5 minutes in line, 15 minutes to wait for a sandwich, and 5 minutes to run back to work.... my lunch is almost gone and I haven't even eaten yet. Food is good, but service is SLOW and it wasn't even busy. If you are in no hurry and want a good sandwich, it's a good place. If you are employed and on a lunch break, go somewhere else. read more

I've been a long time customer at this location and never had an issue. I used their online ordering last night for the first time and my order was completely messed up, one of them missing pastrami altogether! I immediately called and complained, pretty darn nicely and was asked what I wanted to do? I said since I live so far away I didn't feel like driving back. The 'lead' on the phone told me to come in today and they would remake the sandwiches. I show up today as per their instructions and am treated like I'm trying to get one over on them. The General Manager Shay was completely rude, can't believe she gets paid to act this way to customers. Said I had to bring the sandwiches back, well I'd have to pull those out of the trash, wouldn't I? This is our 2nd visit to Firehouse Subs and we've enjoyed the sandwiches but the customer services is lacking. The first time we ordered online for pick up and still ended up waiting for half an hour even though I arrive at the time given. Must be a coincidence, but this Firehouse Subs & the one in Hendersonville seem eerily alike as far as service & attitude of the staff. They appear not to want you there for some reason. The person who answered told us we better hurry back in because they could not correct the order unless the manager was there,and she was leaving soon. Iv'e been to this location a few times before and the food has been good, but the service has always been a little lacking. This time however, both the service and the food were bad. I waited for 1 sub for 30 minutes before I went up to the counter and asked about the long wait. One of the ladies behind the counter told me that they had a lot of orders and were doing the best that they could. They finally called my name after 40 minutes and there was no explanation or apology the the wait.
