My experience is based on both delivery and online pickup. I've not had any trouble with this location! They've made it easy to track through their ap and pizza is always hot! I placed my order at 6:48 PM for a delivery. At 8:04 PM I received a text from the delivery driver that there was an error and my order needed to be remade. I was patient and waited almost 30 minutes and texted the driver back asking for an ETA. The driver then said there was nothing that could be done on their part and to call the store. I called the store and spoke with a crew member. I told the crew member my order details and she explained to me that there was a dinner rush and my pizza was being made at that moment. That call was at 8:38 PM. I requested for my order to be canceled during that phone call. I always requested to speak with a manager but a manger never came to the phone. After 15 minutes I ended the call. I then looked at my phone and seen a notification that the pizza was delivered and the order was complete. At that time I have not received the pizza. I drove to the store and spoke with one of the crew members. He was quite belittling. I spoke with him regarding my order and one of the first things he said to me after I casually asked for the store manager or the shift manager. Was to remain calm and not be upset when the manager comes to speak to me. I was taken back by his approach and negative attitude. I never raised my voice or was angry when I walked into the store. Once the crewmember belittled me and was condescending that made me feel embarrassed because at that point, he was trying to label me as an angry black woman. The crew member also stated that the driver Mariela was delivering my pizza at 9:00pm. I asked for a full refund. The crewmember then said well if I give you a refund, you can't get the pizzas delivered. My thoughts were, if I'm standing in front of you with an issue why is the pizzas still trying to be delivered and why are you not immediately canceling and refunding the order. This crew member was a black male with a short Afro and glasses. I am a black professional woman and this has nothing to do with the race, but I just wanted to describe him because I did not get his name. This crewmember did call the delivery driver and told her to go to my address but to not drop off any pizza. Which I was completely fine with. I just want to ensure that the cancellation was seen not at the fault of the customer. The crewmember also called for the store manager Zack. I waited for the store manager for about 10 minutes. While I asked again for the store manager, the same crewmember in the front that I've been speaking with told me I was only waiting for three minutes, and I needed to give the store manager time. I then responded to the crewmember that I have been waiting for a pizza for over two hours and I needed to be assisted. This crew member was extremely condescending and needs to improve his customer service skills. The store manager finally came out. He wasn't very apologetic and seemed extremely nonchalant. The store manager did offer to remake my order, but I had already placed another pizza order at the Pizza Hut across the street so I politely declined. The customer service at this location is not up to par. I felt disrespected by the crewmember that I was speaking with at the store and I also felt as if I wasn't valued as a customer. One star only because no options for no stars. If you know what's good for you, I'd suggest to stay far away from this Dominos at Avondale, Haslet. My wife attempted to order takeout online like we do almost every Saturday or Sunday, but like almost every time their systems was down, So she had no choice but to call to place the order which was such an hassle because she was transferred from someone from maybe corporate office who promised she'd already took our order and sent it to this god forsaken store but by the time we got to speak to somebody that actually work at this store we found out that they don't have our order. So my wife had to replace the order again with this person. So we left our house which was about 15 min drive to the store to go pick the pizzas, when we arrive they couldn't find any order in her name though I heard her spell her name (Kathleen) to the employee. So out of frustration we asked to speak to the manager which was a mistake because the so called manager was very rude, condescending and unwilling to help. So I was forced to get involved, I asked the manager is this the example you're suppose to portray to your employees? He replied saying I have no time to match anyone's negative energy. I guess because my wife is Hispanic and I'm black. Though the whole time both my wife and I were calm and just want to get the food as we have visitors at home waiting for the food. Eventually, He said "there's an order that matches what we'd ordered but under a different but similar name (which confirms that your employee took the order wrong) and we can take the pizzas if we want it or not. Not once did this person(so called store manager) took responsibility or at least apologize. I ordered a specialty pizza online for curbside pickup while sitting in front of the store at approximately 8:30 PM. The website estimated it would be ready in 17-21 minutes. Since I was in a hurry, I waited in the store parking lot and went inside after about 25 minutes when the app showed my order was ready. The pizza was ready and still hot when I picked it up. I live only about five minutes from the store. However, after getting home and trying the pizza, I found it to be unacceptable. The meat tasted spoiled, there were very few bell peppers, and the onions and mushrooms that were supposed to be on the pizza were missing. The pizza was also extremely greasy and appeared as though it had been previously cooked and reheated. Around 10:30 PM, I returned to the store to request a refund. Unfortunately, the experience became much worse. The manager, Nick, immediately became hostile. He grabbed the pizza box from my hands and began questioning me about when I placed and picked up my order. When I explained that I had ordered around 8:30 PM and had waited in the parking lot before picking it up, he accused me of leaving the pizza sitting at the store for an hour and a half before I picked it up at the store counter as he continued screaming and using profanity while doing so. This accusation was completely untrue. Nick then slammed the pizza into the trash and became increasingly aggressive. When I asked to speak with a manager, he yelled that he was the manager. He continued shouting, using profanity, and ordering me to leave the store. Although he stated that he had processed a refund, he refused to provide a receipt. Another employee attempted to print one for me, but Nick instructed him not to give it to me. The situation escalated to the point where Nick threatened to call the police, banned me from the store, and continued yelling and cursing at me as he called me a F...ing Moron while I calmly requested documentation of my refund. At 70 years old, I found this behavior extremely unprofessional, intimidating, and completely unacceptable. I returned a pizza that I genuinely believed was unfit to eat, and instead of receiving courteous customer service, I was subjected to hostility, profanity, name calling and threats. The poor quality of the pizza was disappointing, but the manager's behavior was far worse. I left without a receipt for my refund and with a very negative impression of this location. I get pizza maybe once a month. A 1/2 off online-ad pulled me in and I order a large pizza for checkout tonight. I drove up to this store, walked in, gave my name, sat around for a little bit, and got my pizza. It was a normal wait time for me, well within the timeframe the app gave me, but I saw about 6 or 7 people walk into that store while I waited. Some people who did not pay in advance had to experience a cash register issue that the employees handled fairly well in my opinion. I just want to say that the team working tonight was very vocal. Talking and attending to each guest, telling us to enjoy our pizza, to rest assured that someone's pizza was in the oven for that "Well Done" time they requested, making sure to pronounce peoples names right when corrected, apologizing and thanking in-person payers for their patience with the faulty register, etc. You guys are doing great and your respectfulness, customer service, and attention to detail do not go unnoticed! Use to love this store, always prompt and if they were busy they would give you a call to let you know and give you the option to just come pick up if they were short on drivers. Their pizza isn't that bad. The service is terrible. It takes at least an hour to get a pizza delivered, if they even deliver. Yesterday, we ordered pizza for a later delivery. It didn't show up when it was supposed to. We finally just drove up to the store to get it (an hour later than requested delivery) and no one was willing to step up and take accountability for the mistake. The young girl working the register didn't know how to handle it. We paid and left. This location used to be great, but the last several orders have been terrible. Our wings came with no sauce, our bbq chicken pizza came as just chicken and cheese, and the other pizza had a trace amount of pizza sauce. This has happened before and we requested extra sauce on all pizzas. The young lady even read the order back including the extra sauce request. The delivery left the store and then took 45 minutes to get to us (we live 7 minutes from the store) so you can imagine how "hot" the food was (or wasn't). Tried to call the store but no answer. Both pizzas had almost no sauce, and even though both had been ordered with extra cheese, the thin crust pepperoni pizza had NO cheese whatsoever. Waited for the order to come up and the order was incorrect again! They ended up having to make my order 3 times and never offered an apology, a discount, or anything for making me wait 40min for my pickup order. I was there with a friend and he offered to purchase the mess ups so they didn't have to throw them away. Wouldn't you know it, they tried to charge him the full $12 price for the screw ups. I saw the Domino's TV ad for buy one get one free online order, I called the store because it was late and I asked how late the store was open, another 30 minutes, so I told them I was placing an online order for the BOGO offer and I hung up and I placed an order online. When I went to pick it up, the counter help said it was full price and asked for a Coupon Code. The web site doesn't offer a coupon code, it offers the BOGO with a 'button' that says "ORDER HERE" and that takes you to ordering and checkout, NO COUPON. I had ordered "LARGE" pizza and a cheesy spinach stuffed bread. What a joke. That pizza was so small, that they were able to cut it to only 6 pieces so it would look semi-normal size. It was barely enough to feed 2 adults - I and my husband - and I only usually eat 1 piece and my husband eats 2 pieces and then usually save the rest for later. And I was also told that "if you called that night, we'd replace it". But because I called 5 days later - they would not do anything about it. I've ordered that same exact order many times, and it never was more than 25$ (30$ with a tip). So I just assumed that the bill would have been the same. Because of Domino's rewards program, I've been loyal customer for some time. PLUS, ordering online has become super user-friendly & quick. I've typically had a great experience with this location, but one evening my husband and I had been doing house work all night and craved a good pizza. We expected we could get our typical, quick service from Dominos. I ordered online and waited by the computer screen to watch the fun process of our order taking place. Once the screen displayed our pizza was on it's way, we knew it wouldn't take long before we got a knock on our door. Or so we thought. We waited 45 minutes for our pizza to be delivered from a location that's only 10 min from our house. When I called to see what the hold up was, the only excuse I was given was that the deliverer had to drop off ONE other order. In my same neighborhood... We had to make this call twice, only to get the same response and more waiting. Was told they didn't have any green peppers and manager went to another store to pick some up. I stated why didn't you call me I could have chose something else or went else where for pizza, and you are not going to like this review.
