This is my go to lunch place just about every Wednesday. You get so much food for a great price, plus it's healthy. I cannot rave about this place enough, I love everything about it. Food is always ready on time, perfectly wrapped, great service, and most importantly - great tasting. Their cookies are huge & they are amazing. The sea salt caramel cookie is my favorite. It has sea salt flakes on top, oats, and it's bigger than my hand. Side salads are big portions & so cheap. I get at least 2 each time I order - along with my sandwich. All of their sandwiches here are amazing & you get to choose the bread for any sandwich you choose. Every sandwich & every bread choice is so good. Over $40 for two kids grilled cheese, one poorly executed adult grilled cheese, two bakery items and a cappuccino. I'll pay for quality...but this missed the mark. They need to hire and train people who actually care about food execution otherwise fall back to warming muffins and making coffee... Update: loved listening to the staff complaining about all of the other employees and how bad they were at cleaning and doing their side work...the one lady would not stop commenting on all the other closers who don't do a good job...yes, while we were sitting in the dining room eating the food. It's nice to have spots to go to when you need something quick, but don't want foods that taste like over processed fast food. This is one of my places for just that. I swung by Friday morning and scored a fresh loaf of bread (for weekend sammies), a blueberry crumble bar, and cheddar garlic biscuit. Bakery deliciousness! The bar and the biscuit are large enough to share, but very yummy, so I won't. Lol The lady working the counter was very nice and the cafe always has a welcoming feel. It's nice to have a closer location. When I came in the place was quiet and I took time to view their menu. The customer service was decent. They offer freshly baked bread, tea cakes and other baked goods. I ordered their oatmeal chocolate chip cookie which was big, their cheddar biscuit and the chai tea. The oatmeal chocolate chip cookies was crunchy and delicious, their cheddar biscuit was flavorful and the chai tea was refreshing on a sunny day. Wow. This Cobb salad I just got was so bad. I'm not sure how they thought it was okay to serve it, honestly. I had had a Cobb this weekend from a different location and liked it so much, I came for another one. It was like a night and day difference. This salad was placed sideways in a bag, so it all mixed together, which normally wouldn't have been so bad, but that's probably what disguised how badly this was made until I got home to eat it. There were a few sparce pieces of fatty bacon, I found one solitary piece of blue cheese, I tasted avocado at one point, but there were no slices, so I assume it was old and mushy, as was the tiny bit of egg that I found, which was so old it had a decomposing rubbery texture to it. Also, I got the smallest half teaspoon of garlic butter with my side of bread. The only good part was the smoky turkey (they were out of chicken and asked if turkey was okay). I received a coupon in the mail from the business to try a sandwich or salad for free, so I stopped for lunch today. The Italian sounded the most appealing to me - salami, ham, roasted pepper black olive tapenade, provolone cheese, red wine vinaigrette, lettuce, tomato, red onions, salt & pepper with your choice of bread (I got sourdough). I'll admit I'm fairly picky about sandwiches, I usually prefer sub style bread and almost never eat sandwiches on sliced bread (the exceptions being a homemade BLT or McAlister's Club) so I wasn't sure how I'd like this, but I was really impressed. They did not skimp on the portion of ingredients and the taste was incredible. I really liked the pepper and olive tapenade (no surprise there as it's a staple of one of my favorite sandwiches, the muffuletta) and the bread was excellent. Given that it was sliced bread and my sandwich had vinaigrette on it, you certainly wouldn't want to wait too long to eat it - I ate half and then ate the other half 5-10 minutes later and the bottom was a tad soggy but not so much that affected the texture when eating. For a sandwich of this size, and given many of their sandwiches have specialty ingredients you're not just going to always have on hand to make a sandwich at home, I feel the price is very reasonable. It is certainly more bang for your buck (and fresher tasting) than Panera. The interior is not very big, but is an aesthetically pleasing and fairly quiet atmosphere. Today we decided to try this place out and it completely exceeded out expectations. The place was nice and smelt amazing(great decoration btw), and the staff were really friendly. They had a wide selection of many different baked goods but we settled on the sourdough bread and the cinnamon chip bread. The sourdough was very good, everything you would look for in a sourdough bread. We the cinnamon chip bread out of curiosity since we hadn't seen that before and it was amazing 10/10, and with their cinnamon honey butter it was a 100/10. Who doesn't like fresh baked bread ? Just couldn't resist stopping by and giving Great Harvest a try. Location is a bit tricky and located next to a 4 way stop so take time when backing out. Service was good and menu was easy enough to understand I went with a Cubano on Sourdough bread which turned out to be a good combination, Diana had the Sesame Chicken salad and we both ordered a cookie with coffee which is locally roasted by Avoca which we have enjoyed before and was just perfect with the fresh baked cookies. It was 1pm and the place only had 1 customer there, a few came in while we were there but only 1 other dined in. Made for quite the cozy experience among the hustle and bustle of the shopping traffic outside our window seats. It was all good just what we needed after hitting several stores and shops some peace, quite, comfort food. Only reason I didn't go 5 was the parking & location. We used to love coming here to get a breakfast sandwich, but the last couple times here we haven't been too happy with the product. The breakfast burrito is really tasty, but it's such a small portion for almost 10 dollars. Our breakfast sandwich that we got was burnt and almost inedible. We've been here from promotions on Fivestars and mail, tried the cinnamon bread loaf and the cheesesteak sandwich on Dakota bread ($10 but worth $6 IMO). Stopped by late this afternoon ordered two smoked turkey goddess sandwiches on sourdough with deep river zesty jalapeño chips. They do make a pretty good sandwiches. Since they're freshly made as you ordered. It was different slightly in comparison from my last order. I could tell immediately, something was different. I did call and talked about. I will never understand how a bread shop, that makes gluten free bread, doesn't have a sandwich option with that GF bread. I went in yesterday... recommended from a friend. I was informed that if I wanted a GF sandwich, it would be a wrap on a gf tortilla. I could however, buy a whole loaf of the gluten free bread. The tortilla wrap was awful... mainly because of the tortilla. I can get a really good GF sandwich at jersey mikes that is cheaper then this place. I highly recommend rethinking the menu for gluten intolerant customers. Keep the Gf bread frozen and thaw as needed for amazing sandwiches! Super easy ...and I bet people like me would return. We were in town visiting family and happened to stumble across great harvest bread company and were blown away! The second you walk in you are engulfed in the smell of fresh bread and pastries. We ate breakfast there and ordered sandwiches to go for our drive home later. Everything was delicious! They are making their homemade bread and pastries there in front of you.
