The new New York style, thin crust pizza is legit! I'm actually shocked, but very happy about this! The new commercial states that the NY pizza is for all those that hate Domino's pizza, which is me, and they are 100% correct!!! I was born and lived in NJ for the first 40 years of my life, and since moving to Portland, have given up in good pizza. Many places around town claim to "be from NY" or make NY pizza, and they don't. With the exception of Apizza Scholls, their version of NY pizza has a crust that is too thick, plus has way too much crust around the edge, and is overly charred. Domino's finally got it right. Not perfect, but darn close! Craving a slice, and after seeing the commercial, I placed an order for a cheese pizza with extra sauce. They brought the fresh, out of the oven pie to my car and it smelled fantastic. Rather than drive the 15 minutes home, I opened the box and had a slice right then and there, while it was piping hot. Everyone knows this is the best way to enjoy a slice. Hot, with melting, burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth cheese. True to NY style, the sauce and cheese came almost to the edge, leaving just a 1/2 inch crust. Perfect. The entire point of pizza is the sauce, cheese and toppings, so covering the majority of the crust is key. The sauce was flavorful, the slightly smokey provolone cheese perfectly melted, and the slices large so you fold them in half to eat. Finally, after many, many years, a taste of home! Even better, the cost for a 14" pie was $11.49. As it should be. Most pies around Portland start at $24.99 and increase with toppings. When my friends from the east visit, they are shocked at Portland's prices and lack of good pizza. And the ability to grab a slice anywhere, any time of the day or night. With Domino's NY pizza, I can do just that. Buy a pie, have a slice or two, and save the rest for the next day. Can't even believe I am saying this as I write this review, but I'm a big fan. My grandparents are probably rolling over in their graves! At least I'm not saying that Olive Garden is legit Italian. That would kill them twice. Domino's NY pizza is now my go-to for when that pizza craving hits. Next time, and there will definitely be a next time, I'll get half pepperoni. read more

I decided to get pizza and I was looking for a deal tonight. Domino's was offering a 3 top speciality pizza for 10.99 and 2.99 Parmesan Garlic Knots! I would've gotten their wings but, I am flats only gurl and there were no where to add special delivery remarks. Yes I could've call the store but, I feel it's an options they should have on their site. My specialty pizza was correct, hot, and the topping was evenly distributed on my entire pizza. I prefer the garlic hand tossed crust (yummy it was buttery and garlicky). My Parmesan Garlic Knots are pillowy, fresh, it was a lot of Parmesan & garlic it went very well with the Mariana sauce. I choose to receive a text once my order leaves Domino's and when it is 2 mins away. Of course you can watch the GPC as your order is on its way. It gives you options to leave remarks (all online) for special delivery instructions/codes I choose to have it handed to me instead of leaving at my doorstep. Especially If it's not in the bag but, I do not like my food place on the dirty ground. It's my 3rd time ordering from this location the driver didn't follow directions so he didn't receive his cash tip this time around. We ordered our two pizzas in the parking lot from our phone, stepped inside one or two minutes later and they already had the pizza in the oven. I ordered a medium pizza and cheese bread last night and it was so bad I had to dispose of it. I'm not a picky eater. I'll eat pizza from a convenience store, Little Cesars, even Chuck e Cheese, but this was worse. The pizza was like cardboard and the cheese bread looked really good but one bite and I couldn't eat more, it tasted like soap. Tried to call this morning thinking I could get a manager but no recording said they are having phone difficulties. I thought Dominoes stepped up their game a few years back. The delivery drivers for this Domino's zip through our street driving over the 25 speed limit. Our street is Filbert Street that connects 32nd and 42nd (our street is 1 mile long) with no intersections or stop signs. Drivers take advantage of this and speed down our streets, this is very dangerous especially since we don't have sidewalks on our street. I almost got ran over walking my dog tonight because yet again another Domino's driver was speeding through the street and NOT following the 25 mph speed limit. I have called dominoes several times asking them to tell their drivers to follow the law but clearly they don't care. It's probably gonna take a person getting hit and killed before they consider following the law. I called Domino's to tell them their drivers are speeding and to please follow the law and Justin the person working there told me "well you didn't die" and I should go get a speedometer to clock the speed limit of their drivers and prove that they're going over 25 mph. read more

Delivery will add at least another ten bucks to your bill (delivery charge plus tip). I really enjoy their crust- hand tossed and seasoned to perfection. I'll be honest their pizza is good immediately but not recommended the next day... but they have good wings, cheesy bread, cookie/brownie, lava cake, the little garlic/ cheese bites & pastas! I usually use their app which is extremely user friendly! You earn points too what you order. I've already used mine which got me a free medium pizza! Due to Covid they're "no contact" & they definitely follow. You can leave a note as well for drop off & for the majority they follow it. Fast service. Ordered online and food was ready in ten minutes. Overall, will be returning to eat here again. The jalepenos on pizza really does make the pizza spicy. True story. I caught the flu and lost 10 pounds in 6 days. It was really bad. So at the end of the illness I had to eat. Order me some Domino's Pizza to be delivered : pizza, salad, beverage. The online order has a section for special instructions and I informed the driver of my illness 'cause how rude if someone had the flu and didn't mention it! My driver was gracious and accommodating. Food was good, and hopefully no one got sick 'cause of me. So a couple weeks goes by maybe a month and I order online again for delivery. My driver remembered I had been sick and asked how I was doing. How's that for customer service?! Sometimes it's the owner, sometimes it's the dude in the cool blue car, sometimes it's a young guy and sometimes it's the gal who bakes my pizza. Either way it's all good. Sometimes you expect that the order that you place is fool proof, that you know exactly what you are going to get. But that isn't always the case. How someone can mess up chicken wings, I don't know but Domino's more times than not, screws up their wings. Another junk food place I go to too much lol. First and foremost their lava crunch cake is the absolute bomb, I definitely recommend it. As far as the pizza, it's decent, but I've had better. They have a bunch of coupons you can use. If you get 60 rewards points you get a free medium 2 topping pizza. If you order something there and it costs more than 10 bucks, then you get 10 reward points. I really like their chicken bacon ranch sandwich. It's not the cheapest place, but you can definitely have your fill of junk food. read more

If you need a reliable pizza place that has prompt, friendly service, hot & tasty food and a professional team, this location will rock your world. A different local pizza delivery closed due to a power outage. They didn't bother to call their customers that were waiting for their dinners, leaving us in the lurch at 8pm tonight. We have used this Milwaukie Dominoes a few times for late night orders and last minute meals reliably, so we turned to them. We had our dishes in no time flat, it all tasted as good as it has each time and, as is the norm for our experience, the food was piping hot with friendly service. If all Dominoes had it as together as this one does they'd conquer the marketplace. They are 100% reliable and I trust that if they told me I'd have a pizza delivered and then lost power, they'd get in touch to let me know of the problem rather than leave me hanging with a hungry family wondering when they get to eat. Bout as good as chain pizza service gets. Yeah its a standard pizza but they get it to you so quick, like 20 min. for me. Pizza hut takes 2 hours and they're about as far away.
