I see others have had issues but my experience with the service dept was exceptional. I came in after having had a local shop diagnose my AC as needing a new blower motor. Came to Aadsen as I figured it would need to go through my extended warranty. Long story short, they took a look and found a simple issue and had it fixed in less time than I'd spent waiting for wrong diagnosis at the other shop. I purchased a used truck and extended warranty from them. There were mistruths in their sale. The truck immediately had safety and running problems. It sat there - untouched for 10 weeks - I asked them to take the vehicle back and they refused - expecting me to take a $6000 loss - the "repaired" truck failed again after 50 miles. They are offering no help - ignoring correspondence from their own extended warranty company! They are IGNORING contact with the extended warranty company for 4 weeks now - I was told they were part owners of the extended warranty company they are ignoring!!!! I have left several messages for the Service Manager which have not been returned. At this time, I am out the purchase price (cash) extended warranty price (cash) upgrades I made for traveling (cash) and I'm being snubbed. They will not take calls from me in service..... Must stress it was a team effort and I was impressed with all of the service and the team members! Extensive cooling, supercharger and suspension & brake system work completed. If I could give negative stars I would. Customer service is severely lacking. Attempted to get my vehicle door that won't latch repaired. The young person who answered was helpful but when I spoke to a manager (?) I was told I could leave it there for weeks or try another dealership either 41 or 57 miles away. No available appointments or loaner vehicles for 3 weeks. Dealership is perfectly okay stranding people for weeks without transportation. I pay for the service contract every month to avoid being stranded, but apparently it is not money well spent. Was asked if I bought it there, hmm, that would make a difference? I've owned a Ford vehicle since 1998. So much for Ford loyalty. read more

I bought a used very expensive car from Don Aadsen Ford and was promised a fix to a shimmy. After several attempts I figured out, the hard way, that these folks don't know much other then flipping cars. Local tire shop found three bent rims. When I brought it up to management they said local tire shop was lying and trying to sell me new rims. I explained that these were OEM rims and I wasn't in the market for aftermarket rims which the local tire shop would not be able to supply me. Management was speechless and then said they tried to fix it and made it better so they we're off the hook. They never made it better and I'd never return. Bad customer service. I bought a Rocky Ridge F150 Raptor from Don Aadsen ford without ever setting foot in the dealership. I live 1500 miles away and they had the truck I wanted. While I'm loyal to a local dealer near my house, they had the goods, so I sent in an inquiry online. Marlena was quick to contact me and talk about the truck. I truly appreciate the 'small dealer' feel where you are not a number, but instead a vital part of their business. While they didn't budge on the price, Marlena was very clear about the reason why (They already had it discounted). I was okay with it, and purchased it. I had a time crunch to get the transaction done, and delivered (1500 miles away). Marlena had the paperwork overnighted to me, and helped with the vehicle transportation. And guess what? It was delivered 4 days early. Honestly haven't had someone that cares that much about a sale in a long time. The 'thank you' swag after purchase was truly a nice touch. I find the team at Don Aadsen Ford to be very straightforward and accommodating. I won't use anyone else for my truck service. I have a 2017 F-250 diesel and they take good care of it. This time I am working with Brandan and he is excellent when it comes to customer service, trying to keep things on schedule and ready on time. Worst customer service ever. I am a 2 times f250 truck owner. Needed a fuse and they couldn't even figure it out in the book. They said they would have to put it on the computer. 2018 f350 with 10000 miles on it. Had snow tires put on the factory rims and the chrome stayed on the bead of the old tires. Was told to drive down (150 miles) so the dealer could take the tires off the rims and take pictures for Ford to see so I could get new rims. We arrive and the manager had a serious attitude. Started telling me that if you can't see the damage behind the bead that they won't replace them, even if they leak some air. I told him that was unacceptable and I want new rims. He told me to quit preaching to the choir! I told him to lose the attitude and he came unglued!! Started screaming at me and pointing his finger at me telling me I'm the one with the attitude and he's tired of it!! I called him an asshole and he said , no you're the asshole!! Threw my keys on the counter and told me to go elsewhere! You spend almost $70,000.00 cash and this is how they treat you. No intention whatsoever to replace my rims. Lied to me from the beginning. 250 miles wasted time and fuel. Rims that the chrome is falling off. Tires that leak because of that. No worries from Don Aadsen. Our 1989 Ford that was purchased from you company .. has never had the safety recall corrected .. you stated it was corrected. I have photos of before and after .. this truck has two fuel filters. After the recall , there should be only one fuel filter. The reason for the recall.. leaking fuel. I have also read on Supermotors.com that there is no time limit on this safety recall. You claim this is not the case and will only fix this at my expense. And you stated it would cost me " alot " of money. So, this is the way you do business and take care of your local customers. I took my car to the service dept. for what should have been a simple 1/2 hour service. It took the mechanic nearly 5 hours to turn my car into a Clunker; it rattles, bounces, sways, squeaks and is deeply scratched. After only driving one block I returned & complained. The mechanic said, "The wheel bearings need to work in." I told him that was nonsense. He said, "Fords are different; drive it for a couple of hours." On the way home my car began whistling, screeching, and omitted a faint rubber smell. They fixed that part, said they'd forgotten to secure a plate, but my car still rocks, rattles, bounces, sways, squeaks and is deeply scratched. They didn't charge me. After they refused to correct their damage I filed a complaint to which their first response was, "We didn't charge her." Now I know why. They were inept, dishonest, and totally irresponsible. read more

I purchased my truck from you guys at the end of June I have had it less then four months and I also purchased a warranty with the truck,it has now been at three different shops including another ford dealership,they seamed to have gotten most of the problems fixed and then something else went wrong,and let me make this very clear , I know for a fact what you told my wife and I in your office even though you will never admit it neither will the sales men that were both standing there when you said what you did,you lied to our faces and not even two days after I bought the truck I came to you and told you that there were modifications to the truck you and the sales staff said had not been done and I asked you to your face if it was still covered and you said "yes of course no problem" well guess what there is a huge problem and now it is in the shop again I only had it back for less then two hours today before it broke down again and when I talked to you last week and asked if I should cancel the warranty you due to the mods( THAT YOU AND YOUR GUYS SAID WHERE NOT THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!) you said yes I would cancel it now Iam paying another 2,000 dollars or more to get it fixed and done right.Also your "SERVICE DEPARTMENT" lied on the receipt for my oil change and as well as the mileage on when my truck was towed in there to your shop and when it left. I will never buy another truck from your STEALERSHIP again and I have already turn four of my friends an a family member away from buying anything from you and I am also going to make it very public about how we have been treated there...How much business do you think you can afford to lose and I have also filed a formal complaint with the State Attorney Generals Office,they said they don't usually handle cases like this but are more then happy to take this one,so how many other people have you guys done this to? read more

I would rate this place zero if I could. During my horrific ordeal I dealt with Bob Lulow and at first he was nice during the selling process. At one point during the signing of the papers a person came in telling him that there was a problem with the vehicle. Acting as if it were just the battery he told the guy just charge it. He reassured me that they need to charge batteries all the time. Not knowing car mechanics myself I didn't question his response. A couple days later I broke down and luckily a wonderful person helped me and gave me a jump. I went right to the dealership and spoke to Bob about what happened. At first he acted like it was my fault. It wasn't until my daughter spoke up and told him no, that this wasn't a normal issue considering all we did was turn the car off for gas and after filling couldn't turn it back on. Bob at that point became very unprofessional which even shocked the woman behind the counter. She was trying to help us as she finally told him to "put a new F*&% battery in". At that point he did but a few days later my car broke down again. This time its not the battery. I have had it towed to a different Ford dealership. I have had this Vehicle now a total of 10 days. I will keep everyone posted on what this dealership says is wrong with my vehicle. I just hope the extended warranty I purchased covers it. read more
