Just received unsolicited advertisement from Kalispell Toyota. The advertisement boasted of certified maintenance. I had bought a 2005 Rav 4. Had issues with keeping air in all 4 tires. They remedied that problem...wonderful. l paid a nominal fee. My son takes the car to Florida for a job. Prior to that, I had Toyota do a complete safety check. 100 miles from his destination the car starts shaking uncontrollably. At 70 mph. Left rear wheel snaps 3 wheel studs. They paid for initial repair. A day later he goes to Toyota in Florida. 1800.00 to repair complete brake assembly. Kalispell Toyota tells me there's no connection. I wouldn't buy a lug nut from them. I bought a 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport new from Kalispell Toyota. I have 5,000 miles on this truck, I told them that the truck gets 14 MPG, the transmission slips occasionally, the electronics went out and says malfunction see dealer. I did hit my trailer handle with my bumper, but it did not cause any major damage to my truck, just raised the bumper about 1/2 inch underneath the tailgate. Everything worked fine for about 2 months. Then the electronics went out. Nothing to do with the MPG or transmission. Nor do I know for a fact did the bumper issue cause the electronic problem either. The service department tried blaming me for this. They said they couldn't find anything wrong with the transmission, yet there are other early build Tacomas that have failed transmissions. They were supposed to look in the transmission pan for shavings, but they did not. They were supposed to look to see why I only got 14 MPG but they said they checked it out and couldn't find anything wrong. Yet at the same time, they told me that they could not read the codes and I would have to go to a body shop to have them repair the damages to the sensors? The sensors that they couldn't read? And if they couldn't read anything, how could they find out anything wasn't wrong with the electronics with my fuel or electrical system on the truck giving me such poor mileage? Also, when I told the service rep that I got the same mileage towing as I did when I was driving in town, he then tried to suggest that perhaps the transmission slipping problems that they couldn't find were because I was towing? I have probably purchased half a dozen Tacomas from that dealership, NEVER AGAIN! Yes I hit my trailer handle on my bumper. But IT DID NOT CAUSE THE TRANSMISSION, POOR MPG, OR THE BACK UP CAMERA OR ALL THE OTHER SENSORS TO GO OUT. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALER AGAIN! CROOKS read more

This dealership is great! They're honest and easy to deal with. They didn't hound me or make me feel pressured to buy a car. My sales person Ian was extremely helpful and transparent with me during the sale. Ian explained every part of the deal, and I didn't feel like he was tricking me in any way. He explained that they try and make about $2,500(ish) per sale, and they want everyone to come away with a fair deal. If you are a smoker beware renting from Toyota. Even though the vehicle that we rented was never smoked in, upon return we were informed that there were ashes in the vehicle and we would be getting charged $150 cleaning fee. When I contacted them to address this the person on the phone was rude, completely lacked any customer service, and hung up on me when they were asked to email the photos of proof to me. read more

SCUMBAGS. I initially went in to test drive a new Tacoma because they were the only ones who had what I wanted. Then I figured "eh, I'll trade my vehicle in" because I've already gotten other offers on it and appraised so figured why not. The sales guy Zach went to go ask the finance dude (I'd put him on blast if I remembered his name) for a price on my car WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT IT I literally heard "hahahahaha for that thing? Tell the dude 5k or something" Zach came back and I told him I heard that and he denied which I understand. I told him I won't take that and I've had it appraised by people in Spokane and Missoula and even showed them proof how I'm getting offered between 10k and 10,500. Then Zach went back to the same guy, this time they actually went to go look at the vehicle! He came back saying "oh well only make a couple bucks off this $5500 is the best well do. I was very irritated because I knew what the cars worse from 4 different places I got appraised from and from my own knowledge and all the maintenance and upkeep I've done. If this wasn't the only dealership in a 250 miles radius that had the truck I wanted, I would've never even stepped foot in here. Guy just kept saying how they won't make no money on it. Literally needed some minor paint work, turn signal cap on side mirrors and a detail. I was over dealing with this, so I just told them "go ahead pay off remaining and I'll just get the truck" I owed 7k. Hey guess what, these scumbags are now selling it for 2x the price and it's listed for $13,900, definitely more than a couple hundred bucks hu Zach?? I already knew I was getting ripped off but Zach and the team just helped me prove my point. Afterall it is a car dealership what can you expect, no morals or character. That was just one of the issues. I went there 3 consecutive times. First time was for test drive an appraisal. 2nd time more talking, but I wanted to do another test drive. I asked Zach, "hey man can I test drive it one more time? I really like it and just want to make sure" Zach begins to be confrontational "why do you need to test drive it again? Why do you want to do this? Why do you want to do that? I need to know" like hey dude, I'm spending a lot of money on a new truck not gonna drive it one time and right you a damn check like you deserve it. Then 3rd time we get to paperwork faze, already very over it and just want my truck and to leave. ID DEFINITELY RECOMMEND DOING THE CALCULATIONS ON WHATEVER NUMBERS THESE GUYS PROVIDE YOU. For example, I asked for the price of a truck topper, it was about 3k, I asked if theres interest adding it into car payment, they said yes it would be the same as lease. I have them give me monthly payment with and without truck topper. Overall, I did the math right in front of them. My lease interest was 6% they were trying to get by sneaking in about 22% on the truck topper. Just trying to screw me over more than they already have. Really just upsetting when you have all these thoughts in the back of your head they're getting off on you, hoping they'll actually be half decent people, but Kalispell Toyota definitely let me down. If you do business here, recommend quadruple check all the pricing, you'll notice something off. Do a lot of research on whatever car you want to buy because more than likely the sales guy won't know Jack shit. And probably sell your car somewhere else where they'll be honest and give you your worth read more

Update: The manager Mark O contacted me immediately to make things right. They gave me a nice loaner and spent a day looking at the car in the shop. The next day, he had a staff drive it for HOURS to try to duplicate the failing engine problem. It wouldn't act up for them, but he said to bring it back if it has problems again. He even asked to keep it later into the day so they could wash and clean it. This dealership stands by its name and will take care of you as the buyer. I recommend. Zero stars. I bought a used car that they had inspected and cleared, aside from a few minor problems that I knew I could afford to fix. A week and a half after purchase, the car started to fail after an hour and a half on the road. The oil tank was steaming. I had to pay a $100 to have the oil changed and engine checked, even though the Toyota dealership had said it'd just done the oil change when I bought it. When I took it back to the dealership, they did a quick second inspection and said they couldn't find the problem. Theysent me home with a single voucher for an oil change, and a referral to Celtic Motors to get the engine checked. I'm gonna be out a LOT more than the sticker price. Buyers beware. read more

Another great experience! Bought are second vehicle from kalispell Toyota the other day. The first was a certified 2012 4 runner. A few yrs ago. It was done on line and with a couple phone calls. The most recent I called Duc, told him what I wanted and he found it at another dealer and brought it in. Duc and Chris were great! Honest,friendly, I could go on with the accolades... Duc and Chris were prompt with return phone calls. Always polite and listened. They work for you and not how to get you. I called Duc and asked about a used car on the lot(for my daughter). Ended up buying two cars in one day! There customer service and prices are why we drive 4 hrs to purchase vehicles from them! (After several bad experiences at our local Toyota dealer). Not sure how many times Duc came in on his day off or talked to me on the phone on his day off, but he always had my interest priority 1. Had a young friend visiting from WA, O'Reilly read the code. Took the car to Toyota, they told him it would be fixed either that night or the next morning. The next day he called them and was told they would get it done the following day. The following day he came in, was told it was not fixed and that it would be over $500 to fix. I brought my Lexus in on two occasions, first for breaks and second for an oil change. The service was great. The technician explained everything well and the prices were very reasonable. If I lived in the area I would definitely make this my go-to service center. The waiting room had plenty of seats and offered popcorn and hot beverages. Lattes were wonderful while I waited. I took my 2013 Prius to Kalispell Toyota on 2/15/2023 for an oil change. While I was waiting, I decided to ask a sales person about the newly redesigned 2023 Prius. I approached a salesman with the name "Duc" on his name tag and told him I was visiting from Washington State and was interested in a 2023 all wheel drive Prius. He replied in a very unfriendly tone, that none were on the lot and if I wanted one, I'd have to order it. He also wrongly stated that Toyota did not produce a 2023 AWD Prius. Even though I had not inquired about pricing, he then, in an emphatic and angry tone, stated that they would NOT negotiate prices. I said I was not prepared to buy a car that I had never seen. He went on to say, "We don't care if you buy it from us or not." I was stunned. Never in over 50 years of car ownership have I EVER encountered a sales person that was not friendly and helpful. He then went on to say that I couldn't buy a car in Montana anyway. I couldn't believe it. This guy didn't even know that an out-of-state buyer could purchase a car in Montana. Of course they can. They are just required to pay any tax due in their home state. Needless to say, I would never buy a car from this dealership. So, how did the oil change go? It was fine, but a ripoff at $72. read more

BEWARE OF THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT!!! Overpriced and Greedy, but what do you expect from a car dealership. Kalispell Toyota does a wonderful job hosting you and making you feel all warm and fuzzy, like you can finally trust a dealership for once in your life. Get you nice and comfortable in that car and then BAM, the corrupt finance department gets their turn. Aaron was a wonderful sales man. He is really fun to work with. Been in there twice to see him. No complaints about him at all. Very friendly and down to earth. I would give him and your sales department 5 stars. My complaint is with the finance department particularly Jessie. I give them 0 stars. I lacked $1000 on the car I wanted and they refused to budge. That's fine, they are a business with all this no haggle mumbo jumbo, I understand. But they wanted me to finance that $1000 for 4 years! I could pay that off in 2 pay checks at least. There is no way I was going to do that. And every time we talked about financing a car I wanted to look at 2 year loans and Jessie kept telling me why a 4 year loan was better because interest wasn't much more, blah, blah, blah I worked in banking for 10 years. I know how this interest thing works. He kept giving me quotes for 4 years and after running my credit wouldn't give me the rate I would actually get. He kept quoting a scenario rate. He cares more about money than customer satisfaction it seems and once again I left another car dealership frustrated at their financial corruption. I looked up the information on Kelly Blue book for the high mileage 2005 Honda Pilot I was hoping to purchase. The trade in value for that car is $3500 tops (which I doubt they gave that to the owner because the car had some problems but for this scenario lets say they did and give them the benefit of the doubt). The cars value is only $5500 according to Kelly Blue Book. They were selling it for $7500. So that's a $4000 profit. I was told they put $1700 worth of work into the car so that would make it $2300 profit. You are telling me you cannot budge $1000 or even work out some sort of 2 month payment plan for the last $1000? (Again, they probably didn't give $3500 for the trade-in so they probably profited more.) As I told Jessie, I was settling for the Honda Pilot. I don't want to finance a car I like, I want to finance a car I want. (Logic Jessie couldn't understand and kept trying to talk me out of, for a 4 year loan). Thank you Kalispell Toyota for not allowing me to settle. I'll be moving on to find the perfect car I want now somewhere else. Too bad, I'm a pretty loyal customer so you would have gotten all my maintenance business plus referrals. But I'm sure you will make up that money somewhere else as long as Jessie is working for you! read more

The internet sales process was great. Spotted the vehicle I was looking for and it was thousands cheaper than anywhere I could find and had hardly any miles. The internet sales mgr was very helpful before I ever arrived and even sent an extra 30 pictures beyond what was on their internet web page and addresses and clarified all my questions. The finance manager worked with my loan officer directly and when I showed up from out of state the vehicle was parked under cover by front door with a full tank of gas and all I needed to do was hand over a check and sign two forms and I was out of there with the vehicle. Their listed sales price was their low price and more than competitive with all other similar year/model/trims I had found at numerous dealers across the northwest. I trust Toyota this is why I purchased from them. I love my 4Runner. I purchased in Bozeman Mt & I've continued to get my services at the dealership here in Kalispell since my move. As any dealer they take at least an hour for an oil change but at least I can leave my car overnight for a morning appointment and pick it up at my leisure. Only disappointment is no one's taking my computer issues serious. In Bozeman they pawned it off as nothing until my warranty ran out. Now here in Kalispell they can't seem to clear my service check indicator. I've had nothing but problems with my computer since the purchase of my vehicle. Sometimes my rear camera works, sometimes it doesn't. The computer turns off frequently mid Drive during navigation. It locks up frequently. However I'm told there's nothing wrong with it I'm sure because they didn't want to cover it under warranty. I purchased brand new in 2014. Staff is friendly and they offer comfortable seating and beverages while you wait. read more

Horrible called for struts on wife's Lexus told service desk what was needed she instead scheduled appt. to diagnose car mechanic calls and says struts are bad Toyota has to order them now 2 months without struts. Next daughter needs car we find toyota RAV4 at kalispell Toyota 120000 miles ask sales men if tranny fluid changed he gets records and presents them to us and lied about it being replaced got a manager on phone and asked if he would meet me half way on changing trannyfluid he absolutely refused to meet half way. I told him I will never do business with kalispell Toyota or kalispell Ford again I previously bought a car for $10000 and the rav4 was $12900 cash buyer that's total of $22900 + $1000 for struts I guess kalispell Toyota doesn't care weather we live or die just wants your money.
