I understand not wanting to use customer parts for more complex repairs, but for a simple tune-up like spark plugs and coils, it really shouldn't have been a problem with genuine OEM Motorcraft parts. It felt like it was purely about marking up the parts themselves rather than any real concern. For something as basic and straightforward as plugs and coils, this rule is ridiculous and frustrating. Ended up doing it myself. The gentleman at the desk went and got an employee to check the codes. We didn't wait any length of time at all. Then when we went out with the technician checking the codes, Mr. Mills came out.
