Kavanaugh Complete Car Care Review While driving across the…read morecountry, my car developed broken stabilizer bars, and I needed help fast. After checking reviews, I found Kavanaugh Complete Car Care, and I'm so glad I did! From the first call, Karen was incredibly kind and helpful -- she quickly sent a repair quote, scheduled our service, and even arranged for a rental car to pick us up directly from the shop. The pricing was fair, the work was done efficiently, and the customer service was exceptional. It's rare to find a shop that treats travelers with such honesty and care. I highly recommend Kavanaugh Complete Car Care to anyone needing reliable auto repair and genuine customer service!

These people charged over FIVE-HUNDRED DOLLARS to install a lousy gear selector cable on my truck,…read more. . and that was PRE-covid price increases! And then, as an added insult to injury, my truck wouldn't turn over in their parking lot after I paid them. I walked back in to tell them about it, so they sent someone out to check it out. The guy made an adjustment and got the truck to turn over in park, so I left, . . . only to later discover, the transmission selector then wouldn't go in low gear. He pushed the adjustment too far in the other direction. Terrible work! I'm not going back Kavanaugh's and give them any reasons to rip me off again. I can live without low gear. This work should have cost about $200. Today, I got my truck back from Shuffitt's Auto Repair down on Preston Hwy. It needed a new starter solenoid. They installed both the new solenoid AND a new starter for about $380, ( said they come together). Good work at a fair price. Kavanaugh's is history with me .

Bear with me, because this is going to be quite a review…read more I had been going to Probilt for a few years, and had gotten good work done. I was happy I had found a decent auto repair shop. Then...it all came crashing down. I went in for a routine oil change over a year ago, and when I picked it up, they charged me and I paid and I figured that was that. The mechanic, (whom I'd not seen there before,) brought it out and asked me "Did they talk to you about the timing belt?" "No." I said. He then proceeded to tell me how the timing belt had "slipped a tooth already", and that it "can lead to engine damage." I said I'd look into it but he said it would be okay to drive. When I got in my car and started driving (it's a 5-speed 2012 Ford Fiesta,) I IMMEDIATELY heard grinding and there was little to no acceleration. Remember: it was FINE when I took it in, and I had just driven a long distance trip with no problems. I brought it in for a routine oil change. I stopped off and called them back and took it back in. The woman at the front desk remembered that she hadn't remembered to tell me about a potential issue. I dropped it off again and they continued to look at it. They called back a few DAYS later and told me that it had slipped and they don't fix that. I was livid. They said they weren't covering anything financially and that it was something they couldn't help with. These are people I had gotten used to seeing and had been on friendly terms with for at least a couple years. I went to get it towed back to my home. When I got there and spoke with the tow truck guy, he said he had been towing a lot from Probilt lately and they had apparently been under new ownership. That made perfect sense. The people on the phones seemed completely different than they had been and the new mechanic seemed more than subpar. It felt as if they were just churning through cars and didn't care about anything but the payments anymore. I will NEVER go back there, and I warn anyone else against this place. Hopefully, it shuts down soon, if it hasn't already. I notice most of the good reviews are from years and years ago.

"Keep calm, the mechanics are here to fix it!"…read more After driving more than three thousand miles, all the way from Las Vegas, Nevada the tires are making a noise. No one wants to walk . We have the extended tire warranty and this is why we are here. Tire issues here's the place . It's customary to make appointments these days for all services. I phoned the business and was connected with Seth. He was so helpful and impressive. All the information that he provided saved the day. Thank you Seth. Now I reside on the Indiana side of the Kentuckiana area . This Firestone is in Louisville. They could find no appointments, and when you search for a Firestone they have no badges company stores on this side that are not franchises. To the points he mentioned that Tires Plus here on my side of the Ohio River is actually Firestone. Woohoo! Seth gave me the contact info for the Tires Plus and was able to make the appropriate arrangements at that facility and stay close to home. When you're in need of tire service, Firestone it is. Thank you Seth you're a life saver and great service human that is so kind.

They tried to say I was at fault for not locking the car and it was on me now and I would get nothing when the day I picked it up the car was unlocked. Overall they suck, Shawn is a clueless manager, and Jessica and Mike at the front desk don't even communicate anything to one another. Lastly Logan the car mechanic I know it was you who left my car unlocked so make sure you get some practice on locking doors because you clearly suck at that and make sure if you have to go here just ask for Logan to stay as far away as possible. Also they just smoke cigs inside the garage with the cars so not surprised they don't want to take blame.
