I put in a take out order for Galbi wings thru their website. Upon arriving at the store, I saw parking spots available right in front of the store. Right in front of the entrance they have the register counter. On the left is the dining area. Loved the dining area, specially the beautiful decoration with instant noodles on the wall. My order was ready per the estimated time given. The associate handed me the wings and I was on my way. The wings were delicious. Ordered via Uber eats. We decided on the boneless chicken and the soy garlic chicken. Both were very good so no complaints. The sweet & spicy flavor was too sweet for my liking. It tastes like a sauce from something you would get at the chinese spot. What I don't get is is that why are the sweet & spicy wings covered in the sauce, but the soy garlic isn't? I've never had snowing cheese so I didn't know what to expect, but I thought it was going to be on the salty/tangy side. Instead it was sweet-ish. I seen great reviews about this place and I wanted to check it out while I was in the area. First time having this chicken and it was crispy like the others said. I had the soy garlic and sweet spicy and man I agree with the other yelpers who made a review about it. Price was great and the chicken was worth every penny I'm not over exaggerating neither. Solid chicken! I'm thrilled that Don Chicken now has two locations - the original in Pal Park and now this second one in River Edge. Compared to the Pal Park location, the interior here is much bigger. They have ample seating so it really makes for a good outing with friends (a big plus for after-church crowds since they open at 11 am!) Chicken comes out fast, hot and crispy and there's no shortage of meat! For a group of 4, we ordered 2 combos - soy garlic chicken and crispy chicken. This place is a hole in the wall. You would normally never notice the store front from the street because of how small it is. However, the size of the front does not account for the back. I have been ordering here more frequently. This is the best korean fried chicken place in the area. Pelicana fried chicken does not compare to Don Chicken. This place gives you pickled radishes and coleslaw to start if you order a meal. To my surprise, I learned that I like pickled radish. I'm like a child in a candy store every time they are given to me. The drumstick meals are also huge. They come in 5 or 10 pieces. They're not normal wing ding drumsticks and have a lot of meat on them. They also do have normal pieces of wings, which come in 10 or 20 pieces. I specifically like the spicy soy garlic and sweet and spicy sauce on the chicken. The spicy soy is perfect in heat and doesn't pack too much of a punch. The hot and spicy is alittle too much in heat for me, but is a nice option for those who want more of a spicy flavor. read more

This is a great new addition to the area for Korean Fried Chicken. Many people might compare it to the Pal Park location and say that one is better, but I find them similar. It's located across from the old Chinese Market, so parking is a little tight. You might have better luck parking across the street at the old market and crossing the road. Inside is well lit, decorated, air conditioned and clean. I placed an order for take out via phone, and the woman assisting me was very kind, concise and polite. I ordered 10 pieces of the crispy ($10) with a side of the hot and spicy dipping sauce ($1). The chicken was a tad bit over fried to my liking, and the hot and spicy sauce could have been a little more spicier. I'm also biased because I like everything abnormally spicy, so it might be okay for others. My family gobbled up the chicken, so I probably should have gone for the larger size! Bergen County is a tough market for Korean restaurants. There is just so much competition that what would be a great choice elsewhere just isn't making it in the Bergen County Korean big leagues. I tried the garlic soy, the spicy hot, and the gimari. Some of the wings were silly small in size. I'd say in terms of size Peck Peck has monster wings, Bonchon is average to slightly small, and Dom Chicken has mini wings. Some of them were literally the length of two quarters side by side. The chicken was definitely crunchy even though the spicy hot were soaking in sauce which was impressive. However the flavors of everything was just ok. They give you radish with your order which a lot of others charge extra for it (but frankly I don't like the sweetened radish to start with). I gave their gimmalie a try which was a novel for me to try. Not sure I'd reorder it but nice to see the creativity. That being said I'm spoiled by the options in Bergen County from the king of them all Peck Peck to the usual suspects like Bonchon and Boom Boom.
