Dropped off vehicle in morning for a exhaust manifold leak. . RJ said he would call. Hrs later RJ told me that his mechanic could not get the bolt off. It snapped off in the process. He said that it requires a special tool to remove and they do not have it. Really? I picked up my vehicle later that afternoon. I ended up taking it to another shop where they said that they broke off 2 bolts on the manifold and it does not require a special tool to get them out. Avoid this shop. I needed a new water pump I brought in the part and the coolant i asked R.J to run a smoke test because of a small leak detected well he said he did and that it was my gas cap that need to be replace i bought a new gas cap and drove the car for a few days check engine light came back on so that just tells me that he did not run the smoke test . the next after driving my car for a few days i parked it the next when i started my car my car is beeping there's no coolant in the reservior all i want to know what happen to the rest of the coolant why was it put in my car. OH and to boot they took and extra reservior cap i had stash in the hood of my car that i went back and claim. these folks are not very honest wont be going back. read more

I've been trying to get the brakes done on my moms car, front and back, plus we needed some other work done. We took it to Midas just so we can see what all needs to be done & they were offering to fix everything there for $2000 they broke everything down saying it would take about a day & I knew it needed some work done but I couldn't do it that day anyways. So my Mom just stopped by here on the way home the next day just to see what they say & they guy was super cool, he told her that's way too much they could do it for almost half that price and be done in like 2-3 hours. Professional, Personal, & Proficient. I spoke with RJay regarding something dripping underneath my Tahoe. I was already anxious expecting some major repair might need to be done. This review is for you clowns that gave less than 3 stars. You apparently are very hard to live with or just look for something to complain about, or need an adult in the room (yah, that's you miss one star). I have been taking my 2 showroom condition muscle cars to Eric for over a decade. His is one of the few shops one can trust. If I had to get the parts, he allowed it. He could not guarantee the parts or the labor when I provided the parts, but what garage would, that would be stupid. He provided oil changes for my Mercedes and he got the oil and filters from the Mercedes dealer. No skimping. Always did the job right!! About ten years ago I needed new valve guides on my 50 year old Chevy. Eric's mechanic Junior did not have the tool to keep pressure in the cylinder so that the valves would no fall into the block, so I volunteered to get the tool and donated it to Junior after the job was done. Now my over 5 decade old Chevy does not blow any smoke thanks to the great job done by Junior. The last job Eric and Junior did for me was to install an R134a air conditioning conversion kit in my 50 year old Pontiac. Previously (years ago) Junior had got my A/C up and running using the R12 that I had provided. But 6 months ago the compressor seized up. Therefore Eric was happy to install the new R134a kit. One problem, the receiver/dryer in the kit did not fit! I offered to come get the car while I sourced a new part, but Eric said no and kept it inside every night as he knew what a special car it was. I have been taking my 2016 Prius to Don Henderson for about 2 years now and have been so happy with the service. Honesty, fast friendly service, and fair pricing is what you can expect coming here. I have been helped by RJ over the years who is always able to fit me in within a reasonable amount of time, if not immediately. What I appreciate in particular about this shop is that they are transparent about giving me a time frame of how soon a certain repair will be needed, [ie: I needed my shocks replaced (my oil change guys recommended it and said it was an immediate need) to which after an inspection at Don Henderdson, they said with my driving rate, I would want to consider doing it in 6-8 months]. I never feel pressured or like the sky is falling whenever something goes wrong anymore. I trust their judgement. I am a researching kind of person, trust but verify, and I have never suspected myself of being taken advantage of with these guys. In another case, I was having white smoke coming out of my exhaust which turned out to be a mechanical design flaw which Toyota later admitted with my particular Prius model. Don Henderson knew the catalytic converter needed replacing (a $2.5-3K repair) but encouraged me to see if Toyota's warranty would cover it. I was fully prepared to do the repair at Don Henderson as other things were not covered with the warranty in the past. It turned out it was, but that was another occurrence that showed me how this shop really has my best interest in mind and is not just trying to get as much as they can out of me like mechanics I have seen in the past. I searched for an auto service shop to perform a full fluid check and possible oil leaks on my car. The car was sitting for over 4 years. Belonged to my dad who passed. Never had the need to drive it. Eventually I knew I would start working on it to drive. Anyways, I made a call to DHAS since they were rating 5 stars and reviews were good. I spoke to RJ and he was very pleasant to talk to and very knowledgeable. After my conversation with RJ, decided to schedule my car to be towed next day. He gave me a run down of what he found needed to be done and others that I could wait on. He gave me a competitive quote. I was happy with it. In line with others, but because of his customer service, knowledge and commitment to be able to work on the car within a day, I decided to tow it next day. Once he received it late that afternoon, he worked on it the next day, and it was ready for pick up the very next day. He changed all the fluids, CV Axel repair, Lower Control Arm repair, 2 serpentine belts replaced, power steering fluid alignment, oil pan gasket, cooler and filter change. I had to get it smogged, and he gave me some great advice to drive the car around for at least 100 miles. We did that, and took it to a place down the street. Sure enough it passed and got the tags.
