I made an appt to bring my car in at 9am, and was there at 915. My car was parked outside a work bay, and I left for two hours. I came back, and my car was moved over to the side. I was hopeful, til I asked a guy about it, and he said it hadn't been looked at yet. The cars that were there in the work areas were all different from the ones that were there when I arrived. I left for another hour, and there were different cars there, but my car still hadn't been looked at, and while I stood there, another car was pulled in ahead of mine. I left. I went to get my car fixed because I had a check engine light on and I had all the codes from the diagnostic and they told me that it would be around $1000.00 for parts and labor; I paid it and they claimed to have fixed the problem, then 3 months later the engine light came right back on, the so called fixed it again; here it is 3 months later and it's the same engine light codes coming on my car. Today Tommy reset the computer on my car, which leads me to believe that, that is that they have been doing. So I just took it to get a new full diagnostic at mossy Nissan service center and their checking circuits, fuel injectors, and a compression test. They also said that the coils that were replaced by Tune Up Masters were outdated. I believe Tune Up Masters just took advantage of my situation and said that they could fix my issue but they really couldn't. $1,000.00 gone....and...the..same issues.... and same.... problems with my car... read more

First of all I came here because I have been so stressed out about passing smog after a failed one. I went there to try and get a smog. They failed me and told me to come back the next day but drive my car around for a while. So the next day, I went back and they checked it and said it was still not ready to pass smog. And then they stated that I pay one of their mechanic $100 dollar to drive my car around to try and pass smog. That is not right. They try to treat me like I'm a stupid woman. Bad customer service. Took my husband's truck in for a transmission fluid change, a lube job and AC tune up. He sent them an email the night before and wrote out what was to be done for me to give them. When he went to pick up the truck the trans fluid was not done, they could not do it, the Ac was done, but they did an oil change instead of a lube job citing that lube job means oil change, googled it, it means chassis lube, has nothing to do with oil change but since I signed for it, they charged us for it even though it was just done elsewhere. The horrible thing is that when my husband went to drive the truck home the brakes were gone, the pedals went to the floor, we showed this to Moe but he said he did nothing to the brakes. As my husband drove home the brake fluid light came on and when he checked the master cylinder it was totally empty, not how I took it in, he had to go to auto zone and put 1 1/2 cans of fluid in and after we checked the receipt it did indeed show they checked the brakes, someone drained it by accident. My husband could have been killed, this is no joke. Too bad as we have taken this truck as well as several other cars to them for years. update 11/12/22, Moe told me I needed new brakes all the way around when I got my truck back, even noted it on the invoice. I finally got around to doing the front brakes today and they are only 25% down. i don't think Sam is there anymore, he was always trustworthy and never tried to upsell. read more

I bought a battery from Sam's. I've been going there for years. I've always been treated really well. But when I bought this battery I received no receipt and was with a pat on my back that this battery was good, my car was good and the alternator was good. After a few months the battery's dead dead dead I called Sam and left it had to leave a mess age and received no call back no regard to I'm stuck at home with no cars I've got a disease needs to be taken care of I've had to rely on other people! Anyhow as far as I'm concerned he's a thief. I will not refer him to anyone again and have told my friends about this poor business action. Went in after speaking on the phone with Sam. Needed an oil change. check engine light was on, asked that he run a diagnostic. Usually a diagnostic is simple and has cost 25 to 40 or free at auto zone. the air in the tires needed to be checked. With his oil change he said he always checks the fluids. And he agreed to do a diagnostics test. I went to lunch and saw the time it had been two hours, had not heard from him. I looked down at the reciept for the number to call, with a rough idea of what it would cost for what we spoke about I saw the oil charge the filter labor. but when looking down below it said diagnostic 85.00. That seemed strange 85.00. Called in to see if the car was done he said yes. I asked him why the 85.00 when I knew its the process of using the gadget plug it into the port under the stearing wheel then the code comes up as to the issue//issues the car may have. while on the phone I asked him why would a diagnostics test cost 85.00 ? His answer then was he did a lot of work. I explained again that 85.00 to run a diagnostics test 85.00 was crazy and he said sorry but may be he can do it for 45,00 I said oh! and hung up. He was a nice guy but to try to get away by deception and charging me 85 then lowers it he knew the higher charge was bogus. Arrived at his shop got to the desk where he was working with a technition. He changed from a very nice man to a man who was clearly upset and I saw guilt. I reasoned with him the fact that a diagnostic test is simply plug in the reader and the code comes up and then usually takes a minute to look it up. But instead He rambled that he did a lot of work. He then as I didnt want to back down tried to say in so many words "so your going to challange me, like I did not know anything. Im sure he is a very good person but to over charge was wrong. He printed ot the reciept then I saw he took off the 85 completely. It was clear admission of guilt it upset me, why do that kind of thing. Now as this was my Moms car she would not have known and would have paid. Being a reasonable person with a deacent backing used if I question something Im not going to get upset unless Im being taken advantage of. That means others may be over charged. In the end he took the charge off but why try your customers for more money? this is the kind of thing you see on Dateline or a TV show uncovering deceptive business tacts. He may be nice, or seem happy but he must feel happy he is taking in the money, beware of those over extending themselves because in the end they are serving there needs by decieving others putting on a good face. Im the guy who usually takes the time to complement great service as I was in the service industry for 30 years. It boils down to integrity.
