I was surprised with a birthday song and dessert while we were eating here. As part of their procedure they attempted to shove whip cream in my face, I blocked the man's hand two times because I did and have not ever wanted whip cream shoved in my face, especially by a stranger and in a public place. However for a third time he attempted and got whip cream in my face, in my hair and on my arm. Now when someone makes it that clear they don't want dessert shoved in their face and you still do it, that becomes assault. Too bad I'm not petty enough to press charges. read more

Great location in the columns. Easy parking and easy to get in/out of unless the area is really busy. The food is not anything special. The ground beef is like a gritty paste and has no flavor. I had to spit it out and couldn't eat any more of it. The chicken tacos have very little chicken in them. All hard-shell tacos are mostly lettuce. The relleno is terrible. I asked for one with cheese, but there was only a trace of cheese, and the pepper was so heavily battered that it looked huge, but after cutting into it the pepper was very small (an inch of batter). I was very disappointed, especially since it is the most simple thing to make. The service is average. The building is fine. The noise isn't too bad. read more

We were greeted quickly when we arrived. The decor is similar to any other Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa came quickly. I ordered the blue Hawaiian to drink and some chorizo queso dip to start. The dip had a great consistency but the chorizo was extra greasy. The Blue Hawaiian was fantastic and very refreshing after a long day. The steak tacos were the best I've ever had. I loved that the sauces and the cilantro and onions came on the side so you could as little or as much as you wanted. The chicken taco was packed with flavor. I found the chorizo to be too greasy in the taco as well. I know chorizo can be a little greasy but this was excessive. Overall, a great place to get a meal. read more

The food was ok, but we didn't get what we ordered nor was the burrito remotely close to an actual burrito! It was a small tortilla folded in half. I ordered it plain and it can soaked in salsa. Maybe you could have better luck eating in but we ordered takeout. read more

We came here for the first time today to try to find our New Mexican spot. We are new to the area and this is our first time coming here. I ordered an Al la carte beef chimichanga and my wife ordered the seafood fajitas, then fried ice cream for dessert. Maybe our hopes were too high, but we were let down many times during our visit. First, they got my order wrong. Not a big deal, but frustrating. They brought out my correct order, and after tasting it I was not impressed, I couldn't eat more than 2 bites. My wife's meal, the seafood fajitas, were AMAZING and we ended up sharing that for our dinner. The server we had was very awkward and not communicating well at all. After the issues with my order and not liking it, she pretty much ignored us for the rest of our visit and we had to call over other waiters to help us. She even brought us our bill without even bringing our dessert. Very disappointing. The restaurant was clean and put together well. We would maybe consider trying again, but the lack of quality service is worrying and might have us not return. read more

The food is soooo good. I just wish I could say the same for the service. The waiters act like you inconvenience them. We've come here 3 times so far and it's the same every time. The last two times I've ordered for pick-up, I wait 15-20 minutes before I get to the restaurant, and then have to wait another 15-20 minutes minimum for my food. I don't understand that process. I've never experienced worse service in my life. Our waiter ignored us the entire time we sat at our table. We had to remind our waiter every time we needed something. I am not the type to be disrespectful because I know restaurants get busy. BUT being purposefully ignored and waiting 45 minutes for a drink is unacceptable. STAY AWAY if you have dietary restrictions. I ordered a taco salad with only beans, lettuce, rice, and tomatoes. I am very allergic to dairy. When they brought out my food, it was filled with sour cream and cheese. I told the waiter, and without apology ripped it out from in front of me went to the back and a few minutes later, he practically threw the plate in front of me. I took one bite and knew instantly something was wrong. As I dug through my taco salad, I noticed there was remnants of cheese and sour cream in the dish. All he did was scrape off the top and put lettuce and rice on it. Unfortunately, the one bite I took caused a migraine and upset stomach. We called the waiter back over, and I showed him what was wrong and explain to him how this could make me really sick. He then asked me, " so you want another one?" um, yes. I can't eat this one. He took my plate again and I waited another 15 minutes to get the one I had requested the very first time. The service was terrible. He never came back to check to see if everything was alright, never refilled our water glasses, never brought us any more chips, and never brought us more napkins. The food in general was alright. Nothing spectacular. I feel I could have gotten better service from Taco Bell. On top of that the food was overpriced. for a meal that normally would cost us $20, it ended up being 32 plus tax. Service wasn't that good. The food was not authentic the enchilada sauce tasted it like spaghetti sauce, the chilie relleno that had no cheese stuffed inside it. The fajitas (chicken and beef) were overcooked shrimp was ok but no real flavor and the beans were burnt tasting and the rice wasn't seasoned well that also goes for the salsa served with the chips. I have been to this place MANY times. It is normally one of our favorite restaurants. Last time I went we sat at the bar. It was a Wednesday night and not busy. There were 2 guys behind the bar making drinks and fiddling around. We sat for almost 5 minutes with no acknowledgement. We finally had to ask one of them to order drinks. We proceeded to order right before the only other people at the bar. It was 2 young ladies. It took 45 minutes to get our food which arrived WELL after theirs did. We just ordered the tacos Don Panchos with no customization. When we needed another drink the bartender was nowhere to be found.
