Big NOPE to that so I started shopping around. Had a couple of guys come out but Don Perfecto seemed like the right fit. Been using them for more than a year now and wouldn't go with anyone else. Quick anecdote, I fired them back at the end of April thinking I'd just do it myself and save some $$$. After 3 weeks I went crawling (texting) back to Don Perfecto. I already had some algae growth and it's only been a couple weeks of cool weather. They do such an amazing job I just admitted I suck and they are awesome. I put water into my pool in April this year. Don Perfecto has been servicing my pool from the beginning, they provided service 1 time per week. Things had been going well, showing up weekly and such. We made a decision to handle our own pool service. We let Don Perfecto know, their last service day was Friday. It was the end of the month so worked out. What I did not expect was the POOL GUY added the pool heater to our daily pool cleaning without our knowledge. Good thing we realized he did this, otherwise we would have got a sky high gas bill from So Cal Gas. It was not a coincidence that the heater ran Saturday, sunday Monday the days after Don Perfecto serviced our pool for the last time. If you cancel service with these guys make sure you watch them like a hawk on their final service, one of their employees is a Saboteur. read more

I have been using Don Perfecto for about two years now. David and his team are great. Even as they have changed, they maintain a consistency of high quality work. Responsive to everything I have ever asked, helpful and knowledgeable. But here is the kicker. We had a baby about 8 months ago. There have been zero discussions with David or his team about our new guy. Also recently our normal guy changed as our cleaning day changed. Even with this, the new guy gave me a call to ask about a preferred time to clean our filters since they are due, so as not to potentially wake the baby who may be napping, because David had mentioned this to him. Greg came out for our weekly service today and gifted us a skimmer because of all the trouble we've had in the past, and was able to hook up an automatic cleaner that he recommended we buy. Once again, the service and professionalism was above and beyond, and quite honestly not something you normally find in this industry. Don Perfecto is legit, and the only company you'll ever want to use again. I'd pay whatever they asked, and that isn't an exaggeration. I attached a picture of the email they send you after your weekly service. The pool may look a little foggy but that's only because he had literally just brushed and vacuumed. Thanks Greg!!! This company is very personable. However, please be wary of their business practices. We were charged, over four hundred dollars to get our pool summer ready after the off season. After paying them four hundred dollars, they then wanted another one hundred and fifty for pool service. Even though I swore I saw something about the first month being free...and I had just paid them four hundred dollars. They do not show up for weekly service. When they do show, they just dump chemicals and split. after terminating our relationship, it took a month to get our numbers back to where we could actually swim in our pool with out our skin being eaten. Oh, and do not believe there website... "We try our best to have your pool looking PERFECT all year long. If you are not happy with the way your pool is looking once we leave we will refund your monthly payment back to you". They did not refund a cent after paying them over five hundred dollars. And they can't say that it at least looked good. Because even with all the chemicals, it was still green. read more
