I've lived in Hoboken my entire life and have watched bars succeed or fail based on one simple…read moreprinciple: how they treat their customers. Unfortunately, this establishment has a bartender who seems determined to test that theory every shift she works. Rude, hostile, confrontational, and openly unwelcoming, she creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for anyone who isn't part of her preferred circle. I've watched customers get treated poorly simply because they rubbed her the wrong way. When a bartender's attitude becomes the most memorable part of the experience, that's a problem. I've ignored it before, but after repeated incidents directed at both me and my boyfriend, it's clear this isn't a bad day, it's a pattern. In Hoboken, customers have dozens of bars within walking distance. Hospitality isn't optional; it's survival. Making paying customers feel unwelcome is a bold strategy in a town where people can easily take their money elsewhere. Management should remember who actually keeps the lights on. Customers are hard to replace. Bartenders aren't. If this is the culture you're choosing to tolerate, don't be surprised when people choose to spend their money somewhere they're actually welcomed. Please, Do better.

The first time i came here, my cousin rented a room for karaoke for her bday and we brought bottles and ate before coming. It was about 8 of us. It's very affordable and we even got some more drinks in the lobby after. The second time my friend wanted to come for her birthday we had a much smaller room as it was only 5 of us. Same good experience your rent per person per hour and it's very affordable. The last time i came was for my bachelorette party. I didn't want the traditional vibes i wanted a night out with the girls and my cousin booked a party bus and time here. We got a huge room upstairs as it was more than 12 of us and we had a great time singing 80-90s and early 2000s music esp boy bands which are my favorite. The staff here is nice and friendly and everything is very clean except the restroom. Restroom is small and a bit dingy, def needs an upgrade but otherwise, clean. I would def come back for a girls night out or celebration. It's my fave karaoke location for sure

Super easy to do online. It's BYO Beer, Food, Drinks, Cakes, etc. they have plastic cutlery and plats available. They also provide you with a tub of ice. It's $12 per person per hour. We had so much fun that we extended an hour and they were able to accommodate that. They also sell some beverages if you want but it's more cost friendly to bring your own. They also give a discount if you pay cash but they do accept card or cash as payment. It is located in middle of K-town. It is easy to miss and the elevator is tiny (no more than 5 people at a time) or stairs. They also card everyone to ensure you're above 21yo so don't forget your ID.

First, there is a record store on the first and second level, with tons of inventory from across the decades. I spent most of my time in the sorta-speakeasy-ish bar. Dark, retro. Drinks are pretty basic, but they have fun themes that go along with their karaoke setups. Bartenders were super nice and fun to talk to. The best part is I hit happy hour at just the right time and all my drinks were half price! They have a TON of karaoke rooms that you can rent out singularly or as a group. Prices vary, but you can hit karaoke happy hour and rent out a short time for yourself if you're just wanting to have some fun solo. Themes include superheroes, jazz, sunset blvd, the playboy room, adult movies of the 70s. There is something for everyone. It's off Times Square in midtown, so I don't hit this neighborhood often, but if you're in the area for a show, a great spot to grab a drink and kill some time before or after.

After we gave our coats, we were taken downstairs to a lower level, which had some private rooms, but we were taken to a private area that had a stage, some food that I'm saying the company paid for, and a bar. It seemed like a vintage retro bar, opposed to a karaoke place. I think an upgrade wouldn't hurt, but nonetheless, w all had a great time enjoying some tunes.
