We have ordered from this restaurant (through Uber) so many times, at first the food was exactly what we wanted and what we ordered, which is why we kept ordering Thereafter... but as we ordered more frequently we have noticed that our order is NEVER correct. It's really not that hard. if you upcharge for an item make sure it's included. We have called the restaurant and even REMINDED them that we made adjustments and still..: nothing. Inflation has affected everyone and somehow this place thinks it it ok to just cheat people of the food they order and pay for. Get it together. Lost our business. read more

I love this place and I love the owner. Their pasta is always fresh, very tasty and reasonably priced. I've been having some health issues and on doctors orders need to eat food that is low in sodium. I placed an order through Uber eats for linguine with olive oil, garlic and grilled chicken. The owner was a little surprised when I called and requested he cook the dish without salt. After reconfirming he promised he would. The dish arrived hot and delicious. The garlic wasn't overpowering instead it complimented the pasta which was cooked al dente the way it should be. The chicken was grilled and very tasty as well. Love that you can call a restaurant and make a specific request and they adhere to it. I constantly recommend this place to friends and will continue to do so. Best pasta in South Tampa! read more

Wonderful service, food not so good. The Caesar salad was good, soup wasn't bad. The three different kinds of pasta we had were not good at all. I'm not really upset by it but for the price it wasn't worth it. The best way I could compare it to would be an Italian style Panda Express with restaurant prices. Gnocchi was to big and was more like a soup with a taste of nothing but bacon. The red sauce was also more like a soup and really sour. Very nice cashier though! read more

This is not only one of my favorite pasta spots in Tampa, but one of my favorite go-tos in general! I literally never write reviews, but had to come here to say how much I love this food. The combinations of pasta and toppings is endless - all quality. The Caprese salad is easily one of the bests I've had. And the garlic bread is to die for! Go here/order from here, you won't regret it! I ordered from Don Rigatoni through Uber Eats tonight and they were out of an item I ordered. Most places would just let it show up without the item, but they personally called me to tell me it wasn't available and recommended other items for me to try instead. Best. Italian. Ever. We catered my husband's 50th Birthday from Don Rigatoni's and they far exceeded our expectations! First, ordering Italian to go for 40 people isn't easy. Enrique prepared jaw dropping delicious food that was just as good for a large dinner party as it is for just two people. We ordered the Angel Hair Alio Olio with crab, spaghetti and meatballs, and gnocchi with princess sauce, as well as the eggplant rollatini. All the food was cooked and flavored to perfection. We were disappointed in Don Rigatoni. My husband went in intending to dine-in, not realizing i was take-out only. Regardless, he ordered 3 dishes. The concept was very cool - I loved that you could personalize your dish. But sadly, we were unimpressed. I had the squid ink pasta with puttanesca sauce, a friend had the lasagna, and my husband had arrabiata. Lots of other people seem to love it, so maybe it was just an off night. A very nice and quaint pasta shop, we were greeted by the owner and she had some great recommendations and was very accommodating with customizing our pasta order. She was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what we wanted.We got the fettuccini with the vodka sauce and the tortellini with the principessa sauce! We got bacon with both sauce and it was divine! The pasta was cooked just right and the vodka sauce was vibrant but not acidic at all even though it was tomato based. The principessa was creamy and rich that made you want to keep going even after your full. We also got the tiramisu for dessert and it was one of the best ones we've ever had. The chocolate sauce was not over powering and the cake itself was not overly sweet. A perfect end to our meal. A superior source of Italian standards, with some nice variations. We fondly recall the former outpost of Casa della Pasta on W. Columbus that fought a losing battle against Cuban/Latin cuisine imperative of that West Tampa area. To this day, no Italian place has survived long on Columbus or Armenia. And these people make wonderful pastas and sauces. Our first sampling included savory caprese salad, wonderful lobster ravioli with the best 4 cheese sauce I have ever had, tasty spinach gnocchi covered with pink principessa gravy and an order of large meatballs and finished with fine panna cotta with a vaguely anisette-flavored glaze. I was so excited after reading the reviews for this pasta but was so disappointed. Maybe I chose the wrong sauce but I got the Quattro formagi sauce and it was not good. Also the pasta seemed not to be fresh. I just went to Italy a few months ago so I was excited because this seemed to be like a good choice. Home made pasta dishes to go in this cute spot on Packwood. You can stop in for a glass of wine while waiting for your order. Finally a place that has pasta and gravy like you find up north! The pasta was so tasty and the sauce was unbelievable. The concept is awesome - pick yous pasta (rigatoni to ravs to torts to penne to traditional spaghetti, etc.), then your sauce (bolognese, marinara, spicy gravy, etc.), then you meats/veggies (amazing meatballs, sausage, broccoli, etc.), then of course, pick your dessert (cannolis!, chocolate cake, tarts, etc.). So big disclaimer I actually did not get to try the food...I know maybe it's petty but customer service is a huge part of the whole dining in/dining out experience so here goes my experience just tonight, Friday 6 Sep 2019. Granted it's a Friday night and I'm sure he was busy but this is what happened: We stop by on way home at around 730p to pick up some delicious food and take home to watch Game of Thrones (yes we're late bloomers lolol) No one there initially but then the gentleman comes out and appears very stressed. I have never been there, my fiancé has, so I said I wanted meatballs. I acknowledge I should have checked how it's done first but I was hoping he would guide me through the process. His demeanor was short and abrupt. "No that's not how it works. You guys have been here before???" Ok fine, I'll listen to how it works. While I'm going through the menu, he interrupts and says: "I'm sorry I'm really busy but maybe I can squeeze you in and delay someone else's order. You really should have preordered." Well there is a sign out front that says "open" and parking spots and the door was open. Silly of us to think we can walk in and order. Of course we were willing to wait the 30 minutes but his demeanor is getting, at this point, more and more stressed. So I try to order again, only to be interrupted once more with "no, you can pick the noodles, then the sauce, then extras. We don't do sides. I'm really busy so what you guys want. I can see if I can squeeze you in and delay someone else." Well now we both feel that we're just intruding so my fiancé gives me a nice foot kick, a symbol of "let's get out of here" which I had already contemplated how to do, so I finally say, with all honesty and kindness I can muster: "listen we don't want someone else to get their order late, so we will come back some other time." So no, never had food here, but an unfortunate first experience. Maybe we will go back to try the food. Maybe not. read more

Great addition to the South Tampa area. Take out only. Came here on a weekday night to pick up some dinner with a friend. Very welcoming environment and friendly staff. Delicious homemade pasta, sauce, meats, and even desserts, without a stuffy atmosphere or a hefty price tag. You can sit at a table outside or on one of their couches inside while you wait for you food. You can even buy a bottle of wine to go with your pasta! What more could you want? First of all I didn't realize this was a to go food only place. I am from out of town. I was just in Italy and wanted some amazing Italian food. The man working told me I could not stay to wait on my food, even though there are 4 bar stools and 2 other chairs and it's a TO GO place. He actually said, "I cannot have anyone waiting" and he needed to rush my order, I guess to get me out of there. But, he was glad to take my credit card. I asked for to go Parmesan and he said it's in there. It wasn't. There was a splash ON the food. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese with meatballs. Terrible. Horrible customer service and then horrible food. Never again. I also spent $8ish dollars to Uber there and back for this bs. Oh yaa and the pasta was undercooked. I am giving this 'pasta bar' 4 stars because the food was delicious, but the service wasn't appreciated. My hungry family went in not knowing this place was take out only and we had a starving 2 year old. After we ordered over $50 of food, I asked the lady if she had a piece of bread or something to hold my son over until the food was ready, she quoted 20-30 min until food was ready. She said she couldn't give us any because it was all wrapped up. I the back. I had to leave my husband to wait for the order and load my son up in the car and take him to a gas station to get him a snack. I cannot wrap my head around leaving a restaurant to get food. When I went to go pick up my husband from the restaurant, the order was ready, and there was literally a whole baguette in the bag. Why didn't the lady give us that and take it out of our order, or charge me for extra bread? I am upset that we had to leave and go somewhere else to get my son a snack while we waited for our order. Apparently when we were gone, my husband said another guy was turned down when he asked for a cup of water. This place needs to learn what common courtesy is, whether they have kids or not. read more
