Instead, our salesperson explained basically nothing about the process or rings, and it came across more as her just pushing the biggest diamonds. We also mentioned that we are currently long distance, and her reaction (raising her eyebrows and almost laughing) made us feel uncomfortable. We eventually decided to leave without choosing or buying a ring (again, it was our first time ever looking). She told us that if we came back and wanted a ring, we should make sure to ask for her so that she could get the commission, along with a comment about how that is how she gets paid - which is fair, but when matched with an irritated attitude, not explaining anything about the process, and seemingly blowing us off because we were just looking, it was more upsetting than anything else. The comment about the commission basically sums up the whole experience. We were looking around for our first time, with no idea how any of it worked, looking for someone knowledgeable who seemed interested in helping us find the right ring, but instead, we walked out feeling like the priority was making a sale and earning commission rather than helping us. We decided to purchase elsewhere (with a salesperson who did mention commission but was helpful and kind throughout the whole experience) and would not recommend to others.

It's right next to Glossy Nails on Blackstone and Herndon. The lady who helped assist was very nice and I believe the guy who came out to say hello to us while we waited was also the owner. My dad had two watches one needed a battery replacement and the other needed the links to be removed so it fit perfectly onto his wrist. Total came out to $40 and I think that's a really nice price. I called first to see if they could polish the opal in my wedding ring and resize another ring for me. I felt instantly comfortable when talking to the woman on the phone. She was so kind. When my husband and I went into the store, we were promptly greeted by the woman and man working there. They were both incredibly friendly, informative, and took their time with us. The price for both services was very reasonable. They got my rings back to me within TWO DAYS and even gave me some knowledge on how to preserve my opal. Words cannot describe how I felt when I saw my wedding ring. I was in shock. I walked back to my car with the biggest smile on my face. The picture attached does not do it justice. They went above and beyond for me. I cannot wait to go back and have more time to look through their selection of jewelry because the little bit we saw was beautiful and unique. TLDR: the ring is gorgeous, the price was unbelievable, and the service was my absolute favorite…read morepart of the process. something that i didn't necessarily fully realize when shopping for an engagement ring is: you only do this once. since i haven't purchased an engagement ring before, i had a ton of questions for each jeweler i visited. many dismiss your questions, or take the question in a different direction based on what they want you to purchase, that's not the case with any of the employees at Jalisco. the first time i visited, i sat with the girls and asked questions for over an hour with my girlfriend. the next time i came, we found what turned out to be "the one", and when Gaby noticed that my girlfriend liked the ring, she found a way to slyly make a plan to get me back so we could talk prices and timeline. when i came back, Gaby told me everything up front, nothing hidden, let me take my time, and offered me exactly what i told her i was looking for (which is rare when you are searching for a ring). most people hide what you're looking for until the last moment, when you feel like you have to settle for something else, then they price gouge you for having what you want. when i picked the ring up, Gaby delivered the exact same service and flexibility she had before, and even gave me a nice engagement-warming gift :) i couldn't be more happy with the ring, and neither could my fiance. the diamond is so beautiful and exactly what was promised, and the jeweler did an impeccable job with the band and setting. i studied the ring for about 30 minutes when i first got home with it, and couldn't find a single flaw. i will continue to come back to these folks because of the simple, but impressive fact that they are the one of two honest businesses in the jewelry industry i had the pleasure of meeting. prior to finding Gaby's help, i attended over 30 different appointments between the valley and bay area in CA. thanks again team :)
