We were super excited to try this new spot after reading about it in a Facebook group. The ambiance was nice -- it has a large interior with a decent amount of seating but no tables larger than a 4-top. The layout could be improved as when more than a few people arrive it clutters up the door/cash area. There is a large variety of pizzas by the slice available on display. We started with a single slice of Detroit IL Tricolore ($8.50), and ordered three New York-style pizzas, an 18" cheese ($27), 14" Italian Sausage ($26) because they were out of our first choice meatball, and a 14" crab ($31). The Detroit was by far our fave. The crust was light and fluffy and the cheese and sauces were flavourful. The crust piece had that tasty detroit burnt cheesy edge which was delish. The crab pizza came recommended and it was good but super rich. First piece was the best but after that it was just too much. Had very much of a crab Rangoon taste to it with a subtle kick. The fresh dill was a delicious add. The cheese pizza was nice and flavourful but super greasy. Like little rivers of grease after it sat for a minute. All of us had to use napkins to dab off the top of the pizza before eating. The sausage pizza was overall bland. We did get it without the sweet onions, but that shouldn't have been the only source of flavour for the pizza. Overall each of the New York-style pizzas were underdone. The dough had a decent flavour to it, but was almost soggy/doughy yet the top crust was seemingly well cooked. Service was friendly enough but we asked for our pizzas for here and they came in boxes. Not the end of the world but when you're paying the very premium price for pizza that they charge here it should come out how you asked for it. We eat a LOT of pizza and this place was by far the most expensive place we've visited, but definitely not the best. Drinks and extras were very expensive too. $3.50 for a bottle of water and the dips/sauces were all around $4 each where most other restaurants give them complimentary when you dine in. If we come again, will definitely ask for the pizza to be well done as that would likely improve some of the quality issues. read more

The fresh thin pepperoni pizza slices were good but the older ones were not. They shouldn't sell tired looking as heating them overcooked and at $6 for that it is especially overpriced. Probably good fresh but that's why I took 1 star away service great - staff is quick and friendly. I will probably try this again but next time order a fresh cooked Detroit to check out the hype. read more

Was excited to try this new pizza place and was in the area. Got one Detroit style slice (PBR), came out to $10 with a 15% tip. Flavour was fine, but the middle of the pizza under the sauce was still cold. Although this is a new place they should have better quality control and make sure what they are serving feels fresh. Also the prices really need to be adjusted their whole menu seems overpriced. Nice interior design and lots of seating. read more

Ordered a 18" pepperoni pizza for delivery and hot honey. You are forced to use Uber eats for delivery as this business doesn't offer any other options. When the pizza was delivered I received a 18" crab pizza with hot honey. The pizza was also ice cold. I left a google review regarding this disappointing experience only to have the owner respond claiming I didn't order a pepperoni pizza, I ordered a crab pizza. Terrible customer service and terrible response. Ultimately it is you the business owner who chose uber eats and if you have and uber eats have a communication problem that's on you, not the customer. Not to mention I have my receipt from uber eats showing I ordered a pepperoni pizza. Too bad was looking forward to trying their pizza but not after this fiasco. read more
