We came on a Saturday night and the place was popping. We were a table of 10 so we ordered quite a few pizzas. Our favourite was the smoked salmon one. The place was noisy but not so noisy that we couldn't hear anything Our server was an absolute angel and made sure to check on us often even though there were lots of tables around. Their pizza is definitely not for everyone. I would describe it as a thin cracker crust. It can get addicting. Finally got a chance to try their pizza with friends. We got a large half and half order of godfather and gangster. The pizza was very delicious. I really liked how the bottom of the crust was nice and crispy. Yes it is a flat bread crust. The pizza was not oily at all. We also got some wings. We had the honey garlic wings. The wings were a bit disappointing but again they are not known for their wings. The wings were baked in the oven so it doesn't have that crispy skin. Service was great. There are plenty of parking on the side of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is quite big and they have several locations. Note that they have daily special. We went on a Thursday and it was Italian day which means all pizza that are Italian themed are discounted. I would definitely come back. read more

We've ordered takeout from this place before. Can't remember if we've ever dined in before. This might have been our first time actually dining in the restaurant. We havn't had the pizza from this place very often but I always enjoyed their pizza every time we did order from them. If you sign up with them, you can get a free pizza for your birthday! I came here for dinner with 5 other people and coincidentally it did happen to be close to my birthday so I had received the email from them and was able to redeem it for a free mini pizza! I ordered a mini "Juliet" pizza which has spinach, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, red peppers, roasted kale and seasoned button mushrooms on pesto sauce and finished with a mild goat cheese. It was delicious as usual! For some reason, it didn't taste quite as good to me as it had in the past. I can't quite pinpoint why this is though. I'm not sure if it's cuz the pizza really wasn't as good as it used to be, or if my taste buds have changed. Maybe I've gotten used to higher quality pizzas over the last few years and the crust here doesn't quite compare with some of the other crusts I've gotten used to? Either way, this is still a great place for pizza. Lots of interesting flavors plus classic flavors as well. The "mini" pizza is quite filling for a mini. It was divided into 6 pieces. I ate only 3 pieces and then I was full. It's a spacious restaurant. Great place to go for a casual meal with friends or family. They had a poutine pizza featured. My daughter ordered that one. Pizzas were very good but way too expensive. We stopped in on Sunday and had their family special 2 med pizzas, 4 garlic bread, and sodas in a jug. Came here recently with a large group of friends to celebrate a birthday. I had been here a couple of times before, and I always enjoyed the food and casual ambiance. Me-n-Ed's has quite the extensive menu but it feels like a requirement to order from the pizza menu. They had a great selection of sizes and toppings, and I quickly settled on the Smoked Salmon & Roasted Garlic. I don't usually go out for pizza too often, so I was left wondering how big were the respective pizza sizes between mini, small, medium and large. There were no further details on the menu either (some restaurants have the sizes given out in inches) so we had to ask the waitress for the approximate sizes. Unfortunately it looked like there was only one waitress serving all the pizzas in the large restaurant, so we had to wait for awhile before the pizzas started arriving. Smoked salmon is not found in every pizza place, so the salmon plus salty capers and other related toppings made for a very tasty pizza. I'm of the impression there was only one type of crust we could choose (not thin but not pan thick either) and I thought it was a good thickness to hold all the toppings in place without flopping over. Overall I've had a good experience every time I visited Me-n-Ed's in Burnaby, and this time was no different. My only wish is to see a way to add the size measurements onto the menu; it can help the casual pizza diners to make a decision on which size to order. read more

Absolutely terrible pizza. It looked worse than a frozen pizza and somehow tasted even worse. The crust was thin, undercooked, and had the texture of a cheap frozen crust. The toppings were barely cooked and completely wrong. To make it worse, part of the pizza didn't even have sauce, cheese, or toppings--just bare crust! On top of that, the price was outrageous-- $30 for a medium pizza with two toppings. For that price, I expected something at least edible, but this was a complete disappointment. One of the best pizza places in Burnaby! It's our go to restaurant whenever we have craving for good pizzas! I really enjoyed their thin crust pizzas and friendly service. We usually order a medium pizza for the two of us. Since they allow two flavors per pizza, we usually get our favorites: Mighty Caesar Pizza and Gangster Pizza. Add a side order of hot wings (save the range dip for the pizza as well!) and a glass of Wolfblass Shiraz wine to make it a perfect meal! Don't worry if you ordered too much pizza! I have always wanted to try the pizza here and finally got the chance to do it. We came here for a late lunch. We shared a caesar salad (quite a big portion) and it was very fresh. At least the veggies were not wilted under the weight of the dressing. I had the mini Me-and-Ed combo which had a bit of everything. I liked it. The thin crust was a bit crispy which was nice. Having two toddlers makes it difficult to have dinners out sometimes but we love it here as they're well equipped for family meals. Me N Ed's has been around for years and they are home to delicious thin crust pizza. My husband and I recently devoured a pepperoni, mushroom and jalapeno pizza. We each ate 4 slices and I could have kept going except my pants were getting tight. The pizza was indeed mouthwatering good and you can tell the toppings were of high quality. The reason I don't come here more often is due to the price. Approx $23 for a medium and $28 for a large pizza seem a little steep for me. If it wasnt decent i would have given it less on the sole premise that you shouldnt have to order extra toppings to get a fair amount. So when I was i. BC, looked for the nearest pizza place where my location was. This place was right behind McDonald's so when I went inside I actually waited for almost a 1/2 an hour, sitting at a table. I didn't realize it until I looked at the time, no one had helped me. Lol. Me-n-Ed's has always had a soft spot in my heart. Growing up playing soccer we use to always come here for our year end party. Years later this is still my go to for a good hearty hand made pizza! We started off with the cheese bread and ordered a small Godfather and a small might Caesar. On saturdays they have a 2 small pizza special for $28.15 which is a fantastic deal! We were told that 2 Smalls are larger than 1 Large, but they also do split pizzas if you want some variety. The cheese bread came out quick and were loaded with cheese! The pizzas came out not far after. If you are looking for pizza that is loaded with toppings you won't be disappointed here! The godfather was amazing and full of flavour and the mighty Caesar did not disappoint. Both pizzas have a crispy thin crust and it stays crispy even after the pizza cools. So if you haven't eaten pizza here before, first, you gotta know the crust is not your typical greasy crust. It's dryer, thin, crispy, and layered. I've never encountered anything like it in my travels from here to Naples. It's definitely unique. The toppings are balanced. It's not overloaded with cheese like most North American pizza. More like Italian style amounts. There's something in the sauce: it's got a tang that is unique. As in my favourite sauce that isn't just a straight up Roma tomato-basil. The absence of grease anywhere is probably the most obvious difference. This isn't a pizza you eat to fill up on. It's a pizza you taste and revel in. It's not cheap. If you think value is a weight/price ratio, try Panago or Some place with "Canadian" or "Mega" in their name. However, if you think taste=value...you're in for a treat. This is a pizza I feel good eating, not gross afterwards. Full disclosure: I started eating Me & Ed's pizza around about 1975. Countless birthdays. Now me and my son have it as a treat together, and I hope he'll be doing the same 45 years from now. PS: I'd love to see a delivery app - not the DoorDash/Skip The Dishes, but a Me&Eds app so we can online order. Your delivery is awesome btw and the drivers are the best. read more

Another bad experience in Canada. I'm starting to think our friendly Northerners just don't know how to cook. This was the worst looking pizza ever presented to me. The waitress/ chef would have been slapped in the face if they brought this "pizza cracker" out to Gordon Ramsay. The crust was literally crumbling like a Ritz cracker. I've been wanting to go to this restaurant ever since I saw their logo in Burnaby and their little cars driving around for delivery. I finally went with my wife and we ordered a half and half Thai pizza and smoked salmon Pizza and they were very good. As soon as I read that the Thai Pizza had noodles on it I thought, "no way I'm not ordering this" but my wife said it looked great so we ordered it. I was pleasantly surprised to find something that I would never order was actually quite good. Like a wise man once told me, try new things! We started with a garden salad which was very big and very generous portion however the quality of lettuce and ingredients could be better although it was very healthy. It was a lot of big pieces of carrots and cabbage and lettuce which was quite hard to chew on but the balsamic vinegar dressing was exceptional. Finally this restaurant definitely deserves at least four stars if not 5 for their service. The lady who was helping us came to our table quite frequently to check on our drinks and our food and if we need anything was very patient with us. I'd recommend this place to anyone who likes pizza or Italian food or trying new things! read more

This was the first pizza place I was introduced to as a kid and I always come back...it helps that I live only a few blocks away again and I've hooked all my friends :) The original location started in Burnaby on Hall Ave and they now have locations in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Langley and Abbotsford. I find the following pizzas seem to be the most popular when ordering for a large crowd: Gangster, Greek, Perogy and Godfather. The pizza is never greasy and it's great reheated the next day: heating instructions are on the box! The salads are ok, meat lasagna isn't anything special but the wings are good. It's a fun place to go hang with the gang! If you walk in to pick up, it's usually ready in 15 - 20 mins...if you get it delivered, be forewarned - they are popular and waiting 45 mins to 1 hour and 15mins is not unusual. read more

So a casual sit down pizza place this isn't the soul crushingly bad Boston Pizza is a pretty rare thing these days. You're either stuck with getting some flat bread pizza and your local "gastro pub" or going somewhere more upmarket. So when the craving for going to such a place hit, a quick Yelp search lead us to Me-N-Ed's. As three stars imply this place is A-OK. The pizza is far from gourmet, but it's tasty. They do thin crusts here, but it doesn't seem to get to that crispy, blistered toasty goodness you like to see in a thin crust. The toppings are crust are pretty standard, and you've got the option of build your own or their set toppings. There's something about this place. It doesn't matter that I live a good 30+min drive away, with arguably good pizza much much closer, I can't stay away. And now my partner is hooked too. Their pizza's cracker-like crust is the clincher. It's always baked to crispy perfection on a nice thin crust and the simplest of toppings like pepperoni and mushroom are never soggy or greasy. I've branched out to their specialties like the perogy pizza (very good!) but always come back to the classics. Pro-tip: one of the servers told us about a concoction he made that we loved -- Get the chicken wings, but rather than choosing just one flavour you can ask them to do two. I know that my friends who grew up in Burnaby swear by the pizza made here, but I don't get it. In my experience the pizza is okay but it's quality is inconsistent and it's pretty expensive. I have also eaten at their Kingsway location which looks like it exists in a building which was once a McDonalds from the 70's. The staff were nice but the pizza was not improved by getting it straight from the oven. One of the few times I declined to take the leftovers with me. Five star outrageous prices for one star Little Caesar's quality. I don't get the high star rating, I really don't. Not only is this pizza awful, buy they literally charge THREE TIMES what any other places charges. We got three pizzas; cheese, BBQ, and Hawaiian (ham and pineapples). The cheese pizza was completely dried out and has no flavor at all. The BBQ one was just flat out gross, nobody ate it. And the Hawaiian one has this nasty ham that was more like bologna and was gritty. I've had just way too many "great" pizzas from NY's thin-sliced to Chicago's deep dish to LA's wood-fired and I'm sorry, but this pizza isn't even better than Little Caesar's. Where in the world do they get off charging the prices for this? Worst yet - who's gullible enough to pay it twice? You're literally better off going to the store and getting frozen pizza.
