I was nervous about finding a good dentist in Stockton after being with Lodi dental for a while. But ever since coming to Smile Pro Dental, I can honestly say they are amazing. The entire staff is so sweet, caring, welcoming, and professional. The dentist himself is awesome, very patient, gentle, and genuinely caring. Everyone there has made me feel comfortable, reassured, and well taken care of. I truly love this dental office and wouldn't change it even if I could. Finding a dentist you trust isn't easy, and I'm so grateful I found Smile Pro Dental. Highly recommend!

I learned to take good reviews on this platform with a grain of salt. He is preying on vulnerable Medi-Cal Dental patients that do not know any better and/or do not have the means to get better treatment. My experience was single-handedly the cause of anguish, depression, severe anxiety, and much independent research. Dr. Bhangu did not go over my treatment plan and only told me I had many cavities and that I needed a full mouth restoration, asked if I had any questions, and then referred me to a prosthodontist while giving me very little time to process my results. He didn't even explain what a full mouth restoration was he told me to look it up. He didn't go over my X-rays or what I could be doing better. He was also judgmental and made passive remarks like "Do you snack all day?" "Do you sip on soda all day?" without even getting to know my situation. I felt like he was preying on my insecurities after I had told him I hadn't been to the dentist in years. I looked up the prosthodontist he recommended, to which has very little reviews and the reviews they did have were terrible where patients claimed this prosthodontist shaved their teeth unnecessarily and charged an arm and a leg for these services. To further my research into getting good dental care I bought an independent insurance plan and went to another dentist for a second opinion and they examined me with new modern equipment, retook my exams, and did a comprehensive oral examination and told me I didn't need to see a prosthodontist and my situation was not as severe as I had originally thought. This dentist actually took her time explaining what was going on in my mouth, what all my treatment options were, and she was soooo kind and gentle. Basically the opposite of my experience at Robinhood Dental. Beware of this dentist.

Enter through the middle of the back of the building. Walk in and turn to the right you'll see "Robinhood Dental" very small suite, maybe 8 chairs in waiting room. Definitely a little claustrophobic. The two ladies at the front desk were very nice! One on the left checked me in, took my ID & insurance as it was my first initial visit. The dental assistant then brought me back, went over if I had any metal on face or in mouth, gave me a baggy to store my jewelry in. She took me down the hall to the X-Ray machine. Very small area! She then took me back to my room. Answered the like 20 questions I had and didn't make me feel rushed or like she was annoyed. She was very helpful. Which I appreciated. She then took a few more X-Rays to be prepared for the doctor, also because it had been 2 years since I seen the dentist. Dr Bhangu came in, introduced himself, asked for a little background into my previous dental work/sickness, looked at my neck and mouth, then did a basic cleaning. He referred me to another doctor for the removal of all 4 of my wisdom teeth. Then he said he is putting in an Auth for a deep cleaning, but it takes a few weeks for insurance to approve that. I said no worries. By the time my cleaning was over, the front desk lady sitting to the right this time, already had my referral ready and scheduled me for my 1 year check up. I was in & out! After doing some research, we decided upon Kids Care Dental. I knew of the business because my old hair stylist used to work at another of their locations. That was over 15 years ago and they are still open. This, to me, signaled that they are a company I can trust and one that is there for the long haul. From the very beginning , my experience was a positive one. I received a call from the receptionist, Rio to schedule our son's appointment. She offered an appointment that same week! Already, I was happy with the quick access to care. Upon our arrival to the appointment , I was happy to see Rio was the receptionist checking us in as well since she was so friendly and knowledgeable. She offered our son some coloring sheets and crayons. Being that coloring is one of his favorite pastime's , he was ecstatic ! Any nerves he had shown before were calmed by this activity and by the child-friendly atmosphere. I noticed they had a cute dry erase board to the right of the desk that said "Welcome new friends" and on it , were the names of all the new patients that day ! That was the cutest, most personal touch. Our wait was short and the appointment was timely. When my son was called back, he ran to hide behind me when the RDH walked up and mentioned x-rays. She said her name was Angelica, and I noticed she caught on to this bundle of nerves right away. She spoke calmly to him and explained everything she was doing as she did it, and provided reassurance along the way. After x-rays, he seemed to have established a sense of comfort and trust, and happily followed her to the exam area. He was elated to see tv monitors above each exam chair ! Angelica was great with him as she checked his teeth, cleaned them, and worked with him. Shortly after she saw him, the dentist Dr. Annabel came up and introduced herself. She was also very pleasant and had a calm demeanor that really helped our son feel comfortable. Angelica gave our son a goodie bag with a little toothbrush, top, flossers, and toothpaste. He loved that ! She had previously asked what his favorite color was, and made sure the goodie bag contents matched. More personalization ! As we left, they took his photo and printed it out for us. So cute! We left feeling great about the visit we had and confident about his new dental office, and any care he would subsequently receive. Lastly, as if the excellent visit weren't enough , a few days later, our son received a thank you card in the mail. He was over the moon to receive his first personal mail. Great job KCD!! Highly recommend!

When I explained this to him, he refused to examine the aching tooth, stating that he would not look at it until I had a filling replaced on a different tooth. This did not make sense to me, as the tooth requiring the replacement filling was not causing me any issues. When I specifically asked, "So you aren't going to even look at the tooth that is hurting?" he rudely responded, "No." I left the office with my tooth still in pain, and the following day I cancelled my two upcoming appointments. I felt that the practice was more focused on financial gain than on addressing my immediate dental needs and pain.
