Honestly the food wasn't terrible, but the customer service was awful. I understand how it is, I work as a restaurant manager and everybody has their days but the service I received I just can't see being justifiable. The guy at the pick-up window was very short and passive aggressive with me, when I walked up to him he said 'what do you want? Pickup? Dine in? What?' and then about 10-15 mins after I ordered I came back up to the window I asked the nice older woman if my order was done and he just came over and slapped it on the counter and immediately walked away all irritated saying nothing, it just felt very rude. Also some of the employees are hanging out the back with the door open smoking. Don't bother coming here unless you want to feel like you are burdening them for having to do their jobs. read more

The small, thin crust all pepperoni pizza I ordered delivered was very tasty and I loved the smaller pepperoni's they use to fill the top. I didn't really care for the way they sliced it, if it was square it would have been fine. It wasn't very hot when it was delivered (not that far away) but could have been due to grubhub. read more

I've given this place a few tries, but the customer service is what really makes me not want to come back. Here's my critiques broken up into several paragraphs; Employee Behavior: One of the managers (maybe even GM) is a middle aged lady that yells at the teen/young adult working the oven, counter, and drive-thru by himself, the past two times i've been there the same stocky hair-thinning bearded dude was there and when you walk in he just stares at you with a look almost like "you have some nerve coming in here". whenever him or a different employee decides to stop ignoring you at the counter, you have to talk first and they're almost always short with you (besides the young dude i mentioned). The bearded dude will either ignore you when you say "thank you" or will just make rude passive aggressive noises like "uh-huh" and kinda just presents himself as very stand-offish. Cleanliness: Albeit, the store doesn't always have a lot of people so it's easy to have a cluttered kitchen area but I've literally walked in a few months ago to a lady standing right in the middle behind the counter on her phone with a cigarette in her mouth which is just not a good look. there's also little bugs that'll fly around, and the oven tenders don't wear gloves. Plus, the thinning hair dude is not forced to wear a hairnet meanwhile he has locks of hairs exploding out the back of his hat. Food: The only reason I don't give this place a 1 star review is that the pizza is pretty good. HOWEVER, there has been times like last week where I ordered a pizza at 7:15pm, arrived at like 7:10pm and received a lukewarm pizza so who knows how long it was on the heater. Also, I got food there yesterday and they must of noticed that I had been waiting there longer than I should have (got my food like 6 minutes after the quote) because the kid pulled my pizza out of the oven too early leaving me with a not fully crisp thin crust thus making the sauce and cheese all messy. Overall, if you get delivery you'll probably have no complaints but if you intend on picking up, you may run into some lackluster business practices. read more

This is the worst Donatos location ever. Hands down! I like their cauliflower crust, so my husband goes along with it and we order from Donatos. The last 5 times they have screwed up our order and I'm not talking about a minor detail. We saw they had some new menu items that we really wanted to try. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and the staff is very friendly. I really enjoy their website and how easy it is to order and they really thought of all the options a customer would need when ordering. Today we tried an order of their wings with their hot chicken dry rub. The dry rub was really good not overly spicy but did give your lips a tingle. For our taste we wish the wings were crispy, they were a little rubbery from just being cooked in their pizza oven. Next we tried their garlic asiago cheese bread. It had good flavor and the cheese had a nice crispness to it. Also tried their hot chicken sub (hot chicken, pepper jack, jalapeno, dill pickles and ranch dressing). The sandwich was good all the flavors worked, the only down side was you could tell the chicken was previously frozen it had a rubbery texture. We Also tried their original pepperoni pizza, a white pizza with sausage and meatball, and their new hot chicken pizza. The pepperoni was great and I enjoyed their crispy thin crust. The white pizza was bland and dry. My favorite was the hot chicken pizza (hot chicken, pepper jack, jalapenos, dill pickles and ranch). Again the chicken had that rubbery texture but the spices were great and first time having pickles on a pizza and wow! It really works. I don't go to pizza places often and after visiting here, I remembered why. The service was slow and there was only one server on duty the whole time I was there. They weren't that busy in the dining room, but they may have been busier with delivery and pick-up orders and that's why not much attention was paid to dine-in customers. The pizza was okay, but there are better pizza places around. With all the competition in this food market, you'd think they would go out of their way to make the dining experience better. If I could give them ZERO stars I would. My office order's out almost every day. We each pay individually with our debit/credit cards individually with one deliver fee. We were told today that, Donatos Copley reduced the wages for their drivers so now the customers have to make up the difference by each order (five in all) pays the delivery charge. That is $10.00 in fees that goes to Donatos instead of $2.00. It has always been said that the driver does not get the delivery fee that goes to Donatos that's why we needed to add the tip on. NO MORE. The driver does not get a tip and Donatos Copley does not get our business. That's what happens when you become cheapskates. read more

Pizza was decent quality - the "edgeless" pizza is an interesting concept but all-in-all, average. The dining experience was quite poor, to the point where we almost got up and left. Virtually no staff to support the diners as demonstrated by our need to get our own menus and not pay at the hostess station register but at the take-out window. This place is clearly an operation that places most of its emphasis on take-out. I say if you're going to so severely neglect the dining room, dont bother having one. We wont be back. read more

I love Donatos pizza! I typically order the Mariachi chicken or beef pizza. It comes with sour cream on the side. It is spicy and has lots of Jalapenos on it. I use the drive thru window or delivery. Both ways have always worked well. Also, I always use coupons because the prices are a bit higher than other places. I love Donatos Pizza and I'm disappointed they left Medina. Now if I want an order delivered to my house it's too far out of their driving range. It's just an inconvenient drive there and back, but hey, if you enjoy their pizza enough I guess you won't mind the drive. The pizza is excellente, I usually get the three cheese pizza thin crust. I'm rather a pizza snob having lived in Chicago my whole life so when we saw Donato's delivering to my neighbor we thought we'd try it. I guess he has no taste buds. It was terribly overpriced and mediocre to say the least. WAY too much cornmeal on the bottom and the cheese did not stay on the pizza. One bite and the entire cheese topping came off. Ordered large pizza and a big don sub. Picked it up on my way home from work, no problems. Get home and I have a couple pieces of pizza. Really good! Then, I start to eat half of my sub sandwich. I get half way thru one half and take a bite and something doesn't seem right. There's a hair in my mouth from the last bite. WTF?! It wasn't mine. I'm bald and keep what hair I have remaining really short. Maybe the morons that work there should start wearing hair nets or shave their heads. That was pretty f-ing disgusting. Pizza arrived promptly and warm, along with complimentary calzones. Pizza wasn't very good, perhaps just a matter of preference. Seemed to have too much sauce, that was way over seasoned. The seasoning dominated the whole pizza. The calzones although not bad, were mostly dough with few ingredients inside. Pizza here may be great to some, but we just didn't care for it. We were the only ones in the restaurant for a good twenty minutes and we did not see our server for that entire time.
