Today I was feeling lazy and didn't want to drive all the way to Convoy for my usual massage place and so I thought why not give them a chance. It's a Sunday and I went as a walk-in. A little lady greeted me and I just pointed to their list - deep tissue 90min for $110. Had my massage and it was one of the best ones I've had! I'm vey happy with the service, cleanliness and overall experience. Susan is the one who take care of me. I surely will be coming back to see her again.

The massage was alright but the language barrier made the experience worse (had to use Google…read moretranslate) and was quoted one price and charged another ($15 more, plus $2 credit card fee, plus tip so def left a bad taste in my mouth). The room was really hot and the masseuse had to stop a few times to wipe his sweat, which wasn't his fault since he was putting in the work for my requested firmness, but def need a fan or something in the room to keep the air flowing and to keep their therapists from overheating. Scalp massage was nice, 60 minute full body with hot stone with 30 minute foot. Def left super greasy that even after the hot towel I found myself wiping off a lot more with the sheets. Was a bit hesitant to try this place because of the other bad reviews and sad to say I also can't recommend this place. There's 3 Massage Edens in the area and this was the only one with a male masseuse that day. Since I live in the area, I thought I'd give them a shot and disappointed by the overall experience. May just have to go to my usual spots on Convoy, but would be nice to have a spot closer to home.

Lily was skilled - she had a nice firm hand that worked out knots, but she also provided soothing strokes so that the tension could truly be relieved. But here is the reason for the 3 star: I purchased my massage through ClassPass. I opted for the First lady treatment which consisted of a deep tissue massage, salt scrub and free hot stones. When I first got there, I informed the receptionist that I had an appointment through ClassPass. Without asking, she grabbed my phone, took a picture of my screen then proceeded to call someone on her phone. I believe this may have been because of a language barrier. The gentleman on the phone confirmed I was there for the First Lady package and told me I'm all set. I then followed her to the room where she simply pointed to and walked away. That was fine. Lucy, then came in and created magic with her hands. The deep tissue massage was magnificent. The salt scrub was so glorious, I even got chills. Once she was done cleaning up the salt scrub, she said we were done. I politely reminded her that my appt came with the hot stones. She stepped outside, came back in and showed me her phone. It read: "colleague forgot to turn on the hot stones. Sorry" . Then, she said proceeded with offering me a hot towel instead. I declined the towel. As I was walking out, I was disappointed but I was still leaning toward the four star review because Lucy really did a good job despite missing the hot stones. However, when I approached the front desk, it was a different receptionist . A young lady with perfect English. She asked if I wanted to leave a tip. As I was getting my card ready to leave a well-deserved tip, I casually mentioned that my package came with the hot stones but that portion of the service was not provided. Her response was "I see..." She then charged my card for the tip and completely disregarded what I said. While my body feels relaxed, I left highly disappointed by how situation was handled. Mistakes happen, but acknowledging them and making an effort to address them, goes a long way.

Where do I begin? I found Corrie on a Backpage ad for body rubs. There was a link to her website so…read moreI went there to check it out. The website wasn't great. Not much information there, but I seen a few photos and there was a number to contact. I called the number and Corrie answered right away. We discussed prices and options and I decided to give it a try and come in for a session. I called when I was on my way and she gave me an address, which my GPS showed as a 7-11. But as I got closer I called again and she directed me to some apartments close by. From the moment I walked in the door it was obvious that the photos from her website were either severely photo shopped or taken at least 6 or 7 years ago. Corrie is much older than she appears on her site. I came in and after a few minutes began the massage, if you could call it that. Her fingernails were about 3 inches long and made it very hard to actually give a massage. After getting there and finding she was much older than I thought and had nails too long to actually give a massage I then had too deal with her phone going off non-stop and her stopping every 10 minutes to answer or check her texts. Definitely not worth $200. And to top it off, for about a week after that I would receive random text messages from her that were obviously meant for other people. I actually has to block her number on my phone to get them to stop. Wish there was a way to give less than 1 star.

pros...one place where you can get a very "firm" massage. the massages here are typical of the…read moreones found in china. that means it is fairly deep and heavy compared to spas and other fancy schmancy places. these massages are for those that like deep tissue and forceful massages, not for those that want say swedish or circulatory, with a light touch. it helps if you can speak mandarin or bring someone who can. otherwise just grin and bear it. the prices are reasonable and there is very little wait time. tip: after getting your first massage, drink plenty of water for the next day or so. the build up of toxins and lactic acid in the muscles will be released with the massage and you can flush it out by drinking more water. with more massages there won't be such a large build up of the lactic acid and toxins. otherwise you may feel like you are getting sick. cons...these massages are not for the weak, dainty, delicate, or the sensitive. and unless you like having the world look at you cry, squeal, sh-reek or grimace in public than this is not the place for you. otherwise you will recieve a very firm pressured massage in the open where all can see. it is not for everyone. but if you do like deep tissue or very firm massage this is the place to get elbowed, pressed and prodded.
