I have been passing by this place for about 5 years now and what's kept me from coming in were the reviews. Today I was feeling lazy and didn't want to drive all the way to Convoy for my usual massage place and so I thought why not give them a chance. It's a Sunday and I went as a walk-in. A little lady greeted me and I just pointed to their list - deep tissue 90min for $110. Had my massage and it was one of the best ones I've had! The massage was alright but the language barrier made the experience worse (had to use Google translate) and was quoted one price and charged another ($15 more, plus $2 credit card fee, plus tip so def left a bad taste in my mouth). The room was really hot and the masseuse had to stop a few times to wipe his sweat, which wasn't his fault since he was putting in the work for my requested firmness, but def need a fan or something in the room to keep the air flowing and to keep their therapists from overheating. Scalp massage was nice, 60 minute full body with hot stone with 30 minute foot. Def left super greasy that even after the hot towel I found myself wiping off a lot more with the sheets. Was a bit hesitant to try this place because of the other bad reviews and sad to say I also can't recommend this place. There's 3 Massage Edens in the area and this was the only one with a male masseuse that day. Since I live in the area, I thought I'd give them a shot and disappointed by the overall experience. This was probably the worst massage I ever had. Most of the time was spent over the sheet pressing my skin. When I mentioned i ordered a deep tissue massage, she didn't speak English and slathered oil on my back. It was as if I paid for oil to be applied to my skin. There was barely any massaging involved. When she got to my legs, there was no discretion. Usually a masseuse will cover one leg while working on the other. She just pulled the sheet off and poured oil on my legs. She then started on my head and proceeded to wipe the oils into my hair!When I turned over I asked her to just do my feet. How can you go wrong with feet? She pinched each toe gently for a bit, punched the soles of my feet and didn't do much else. I haven't ever wanted a massage to end as I did this one. I had a massage here a few weeks ago and let me tell you I walked out a new person. I had so many knots and didn't even know it. It was great for instant relief because my back and especially my shoulders were so tight. This is located across the Bank of America so there is plenty of parking and the Vons is right next door to it. Only downfall for me was the amount of oil that was being used, it was a lot and it didn't smell like anything. Some relaxing music would've been nice but I still managed to enjoy the massage. Horrible, that all can say. I asked 90 minutes deep tissue massage. This lady started without asking me where need to more attention etc.. It's like Swedish, just rubbing with no pressure. Asked so many times to do harder, she doesn't understand English. Then puts pressure with her elbow on my back borne, not on muscle. Also she keeps leaving room like 3 times! Total of over 5 mins!! Then 40 min later, she told me now foot massage, I told her I don't need it, and I asked for 90min deep tissue, again she didn't understand, then she called someone speaks English, so I told this person "I asked for 90 minutes deep tissue, didn't ask for foot massage! Also this masseuse left room over 5minutes!" This person told me that she will tell masseuse to do extra 5min, but of course that didn't happen, so I left. I really don't understand all the terrible reviews. I have gone there since they've opened, probably visit a few times a year. Never have any issues or problems. I always get a nice massage, and feel better leaving there than when I arrived. They are always very upfront and open about pricing, timing, charges. I am always treated very well and professionally. Place is clean and well-maintained, I would definitely ignore all of the negative and off putting reviews and give them a try. I walked in and was greeted by two women. I asked for the $24.99 foot reflexology special posted in the window. After I realized that the lady was not understanding, I walked the lady out and pointed at the window. She nodded in understanding and escorted me into the room adjacent to the lobby. I laid down and was asked by the same lady who I showed what I wanted, if I wanted the exfoliation package. Once I was settled in and she began, I was very aware that the door was open, and cars constantly drove by. A few times during my massage, my masseuse stepped out if the room to talk to other clients who walked in. The longest time was for about 7 minutes, I was able to hear their whole conversation, since the room I was in was right next to the lobby. I appreciated that my masseuse extended my time, so I got the whole hour. Overall, it was a medocre massage. I probably would not go back, unless I was all out of options. read more

I got the combo massage. I was able to choose, and I chose deep tissue. It was not a deep tissue at all. The Mrs. kept walking out the room and back in. Leaving the door open on several occasions. No relaxing music or relaxing scents. I could do without music if the guy wasn't at the front desk yelling on the phone. For at least half of the massage all I heard was his yelling. Go somewhere else. So, I once went when there was a guy massage therapist there and he was ammmazzzing! ONLY go if he is available. I have had reflexology overseas and locally for the past 20 years. Never have I ever asked a massage therapist to apply more pressure over and over again and then I'm ignored. Plus- during the "rub down" because massage would be saying there was pressure applied... someone burst in the room speaking loud mandarin not once, not twice but over 4 times! We talked to the receptionist and said we want foot massage. She convinced us to get a deep tissue massage. The weird part about it is she asked us to pay upfront. In the middle of our massage she said she'll be back and get a hot stone. Once we're done we went to give them tip ($10 minimum) and when we were about to leave she kept saying something that we didn't understand. After hearing from an acquaintance about her experience, I decided to visit the Eastlake Parkway location while in the area. I don't physically workout other than the tremendous amount of walking I do for work. Upon entering, I noticed a Serene lobby entrance environment. Quite a relaxing feeling came over me. I was greeted by a young lady who spoke English with a slight accent. Her name was "Monica". Whether that was her real name or not, it didn't matter much. She apologized for her limited english, and I stated no apology necessary and how nice it was for her effort. I discussed my ailments and went through the types of services and pricing that was posted which is nice to know. Monica recommended a 60 min deep tissue massage. I inquired about cupping (my first time) and she explained in detail what it consisted of and how beneficial it would be for reducing my ailments. The facility looked clean and well kept. Upon entering the room I was assigned to, look very clean and relaxing. I undressed, laying face down, keeping my shorts on and Monica covered me with a sheet. To say that this 60 min deep tissue massage, that I received, was excellent is an understatement. It was AMAZING. Monica related to my pain by explaining various procedures she did to address several of my ailments. Walking a great deal on a 6-7 hour shift M-F has taken a toll on my feet, legs and lower back. Monica addressing my ailments and explaining her techniques was quite impressive to say the least. Then came the cupping. Ouch! The first several cups. But as Monica strategically placed the cups onto my shoulder, back and legs, I started to settle in as Monica suggested deep breathing and relaxation. I was cupped for about 15-20 min. I asked Monica to take several pics after cupping were removed. To my astonishment, I was taken aback by the deep red color I had all over, as Monica explained how much toxins were collected during the cupping procedure. This whole experience was not what I expected as the deep tissue massage and cupping gave me a whole body wellness feeling that I haven't felt in years. Afterwards, I could change into my clothes, bend to tie my shoes without pain and extra effort. The massage and cupping was not the only impressive thing. It's what Monica did during my session. See Monica left and returned during my session, about 6 times, to help answer inquiries from incoming calls and visits, guessing because she spoke more English than other employees. I felt somewhat disappointed. However, when Monica returned, she apologized and told me how important it was for her to cure my ailments, she offered an additional 30 min for the inconvenience of her leaving in and out of the room during my session. Monica DID NOT charge me for the extra 30 min. From the time I entered the business, not knowing what to expect, to the time I left after services rendered, I can say without a doubt, Monica provided me a very professional business approach to my needs and offered me excellent customer service AND care. As a Quality Assurance Sales Rep, I pride myself in the professionalism and excellent customer service that I offer all my clients. And I'm damn good at what I do. Monica puts me to shame with her approach to customer service. She informed me of their two other locations, one closer to home. I plan on continuing my sessions hoping I'm treated by someone like Monica, if not Monica herself. My overall wellness experience will always be memorable. DON'T DO IT! I'll start off by saying I've tried ALL locations multiple times .. continuing to give them another chance but today broke the camels back. While continuously leaving the room is a common thing for my experience there , I used to chalk it up to "you get what you pay for" but the prices have gone up. I'll spare you the play by play and focus on two points: 1) every time the bell rang because someone came in she would leave. E V E R Y T I M E!!! Once taking about 10 minutes , I was seconds away from getting up. (Side note she kept leaving the door open, sheet off and I was in my bday suit.) 2) her phone would ring and she'd answer and talk. Not quick calls Last (sorry I said two points) She switched to another woman with 15 min or so left whom also was on a personal call the whole time (I hope not FaceTime , like I said the sheet ... ) I expressed my concerns and they said I could get 10 extra min next time. This was absolutely the worst experience I have had when getting a massage. I initially planned on just getting a neck and shoulder massage. They had a special so I did a full body massage for 75 minutes for $85. The first 10 minutes of my massage, the masseuse phone rang. She proceeded to answer it and have a full-blown conversation the phone then again rang two more times and each time she answered and proceeded to have a conversation. The last five minutes there was a child who was running up and down the hallway, screaming. At the end of my massage she asked me did I want to leave a tip? I told her five dollars( which she didn't deserve to begin with) we argued for five minutes because she insisted I should give her 10 I told her no and my card was charged the $10 tip anyway. I have been getting my full body massages with them for years. After reading all of these fake reviews about them I decided to write one myself. These ladies are hard working and they know what they are doing.... I understand there is some language barriers however their work speaks for itself! I see that most of these reviews are complaining about prices and how they charge to much or asking for a tip. Once I went to massage envy and had a full body massage and talk about a complete ripoff that shit cost $135 for one hour and it wasn't a full body massage tip not included by the way tip is mandatory... Moving on. My experience with their service at massage Eden has been nothing but the best that I have ever experienced... They take care of my bad back problems and after words I feel great again! Don't waste your money here. 0 stars. We went in asking for 3 foot massages ($25 each) and the man said 2 and my mom said no 3 please. They didn't have enough people in the beginning to massage me so I waited while my mom had already gotten stated on her massage. To make up for time, they had 2 people on me at once. Too aggressive and too much going on. It was unorganized, all over the place and they talked the whole time. They finished me before my mom even though I started after her (supposed to be an hour foot massage). When we were all done we walked up and they decided to corner my brother off and give him a $50 full body even though my mom asked for foot ($25). They asked for $100 total instead of what we asked for ($75). My mom tried to understand what happened but they would not listen or understand what we were saying. We paid and left and as we got in the car one of the ladies (eldest spoke little to no English). Walked up to my moms open car door and proceeded to ask for tips. Over and over. My daughter came in from out of town, and I thought it would be nice to treat us both to a massage. The lady at the front didn't know how to speak English, and used her phone to translate, but, didn't she didn't understand what I was I was saying. "They behave MONEY HUNGRY Called ahead to ask for pricing they stated $60 a massage when I got there only 2 types of massages cost $60 the rest cost $70. I chose deep tissue which was only $60 the reception person tried to push hot rocks for an additional $10.00 I declined. She asked for payment before getting the massage, I gave her $70 she seem to want to keep the change so I asked for my change back. While getting the massage the masseuse pushed for the hot rocks (again pushing for the extra $10) At that point I gave in thinking it would enhance the massage. The massage was ok the rocks as expected were not a big deal. At one point the masseuse walked out and left the door open with a lot of my body exposed. I could hear two men talking to them right outside but they're having a hard time due to language not sure if they saw me on the table but both men decide not to get a massage there. When done, I hand the person in the front the additional $10.00 (for the rocks) plus my card for a $5 tip she asked for $12 tip because "that's how much they charge on tip". By now, I am a bit bothered by the pressure of getting the rocks, door left open, and now demanding a certain amount on tip, but I decide to give her a bit more. However, I do not want to use my debit card for the extra so I let her know I will go next door to Vons to get change for the tip. THE WOMAN FOLLOWED ME INTO VONS I was in disbelief!! I told her she did not have to follow me she smiled and touched my shoulder. I get two items in order to break the bill she's following me throughout the grocery store, I get in line to pay for the items she stands about 3 feet or less from the cashier, I mention this to the cashier and bagger and they're all in disbelief that she would follow me next door into their grocery store to ensure a $12 tip. At this point, I am in shock and angry. I give her $5 and I told her she should not pressure people into giving more on a tip. 1. This place needs to be reported for their behavior! I wonder what the law is regards tips. I question if they are reporting this on their taxes being that they force every single customer to pay that amount. Perhaps they need to be reported to the IRS, I mean are they reporting the correct amount on tips? 2. THEY NEED TO STOP PRESSURING PEOPLE INTO SPENDING AT LEAST $70 3. They need to RESPECT the customer's wishes when the customer declines to additional service. We go there for a massage not to be pressured into a sell. 4.The English barrier would not be a big deal, but since they scheme it makes the experience more unpleasant because you cannot communicate with them! I'm sad to write this and sorry for how long it is but I have been going here for quite sometime, there is am older lady that does a fantastic job. I usually see her when I go in the evening for a full body massage. Tonight when I went in, there was the man and woman and the older lady. I requested the older lady to see if she was available and she said yes. As soon as she started my massage I could hear new customers entering the establishment for a massage. Previous massages its typical to maybe have 1 or 2 disruptions and I dont complain bc the price is lower and she does a good job. Today was completely different, the gentleman kept coming in unannounced speaking Chinese. Mind you I was laying on my stomach with my underwear on and the sheet was lifted. He didnt even knock on the door. I could tell the poor older lady was upset with him entering. It seemed like they were having all these people that wanted massages but not enough people to do the massages. And instead of telling people we dont have the staff they were koving massage people around. At some point during my massage the lady I requested had left and started another massage and a different lady took over without saying anything. She was horrible! She too kept getting interrupted and THEN a small child kept coming in the room talking and running around !!!! The lady kicked him out and he started screaming for the next 10 minutes. This was seriously horrific. When it was finished the lady actually had the nerve to ask for a 10 dollar tip !!!! How unprofessional to switch massage people, keep the door open while people are walking by and my body exposed, have a kid run in and start screaming, then never once saying she was sorry. Honestly it doesn't even seem like the lady who massaged me had her therapist license.I got a couples massage with my friend and first thing that really set me off is when she started massaging my friend first. I was like where's the other therapist? We want to start TOGETHER. Whole point of a couples massage. About six minutes later my unlicensed massage lady comes in. Man it seemed like she was in such a rush. It was horrible. I wanted to get up and leave I wasn't trying to be rude. Another thing is they don't SHUTUP while massaging you. Like look ladies we're here to relax. Not hear you talk in your language. Last thing that just sucked was paying. The lady at the front SWEARS they deserve a tip.
