We arrived home early Wednesday morning from our amazing trip to Southern Italy. I can't speak highly enough about the entire trip.......the hotels, private car transfers, guided tours and locations in Southern Italy were all excellent. We very much liked the Hotel Continental in Sorrento. Great location and very comfortable and scenic room. Perfect for the week in Sorrento. Also loved the Masseria Villa Verde in Fasano and the Borgo delle Pietre in Agrigente. Lovely rooms and great service. Of course, the food throughout Italy was amazing, however we had one of our most memorable lunches at Borgo delle Pietre. A big plate of sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil and bread and paired with a bottle of local red wine. A very simple meal ---- entirely delicious! All of the guided tours were led by excellent guides and all private car transfers were on time (always about 15 minutes early). It was a very good decision to hire the private car service throughout our trip so we could relax and enjoy the scenery. This was a dream trip come true! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would... she's only in it for the money & is very unreliable if you're not going to make her a fortune. My family was very excited to work with her and invested a lot of time and effort into planning a trip with her. We were all very excited for this trip because of all the activities she offered us at first. All of the sudden (VERY LAST MINUTE) she told the family member that was planning it for our group, that "she cannot understand" them. My family member is an immigrant but has lived and worked in the US for many years and speaks perfect English. With everything going on politically it did not give us a good feeling that ALLLL of a sudden she backs out and completely wasted our time and made us feel like we weren't important enough for her. She even went ahead and made a few derogatory comments about the questions and details my family member was asking about. After talking to many other people that have traveled with her...they have NOTHING nice to say. She will get your hopes up and leave you stranded last minute if she notices you will not make her a lot of money. I would definitely not recommend traveling with her. She says she plans trips for "all over the world" but she can't even follow through for a trip within the country. VERY disappointed. read more

I should have done this a while ago but anyway, here it is. We had Donna book our last 2 vacations for us, both went off without an issue, the first was Hawaii, I had been there before so I didn't really think much about it. Even though Donna did indeed go out of her way to make sure we has a good time and everything went well. A great experience to say the least. Our second vacation Donna set up for us was Canada/Niagara falls, I can't say how glad I was that we had her sort it out for us, it was all the little things you have no idea about when going to another country or just somewhere you have no idea about that she handled perfectly. From the airline tickets to confirming we got the room with the view we were looking for to the shuttle from the airport, I can't say enough about how big a difference this all made to the ease and enjoyment of our vacation. As a life long traveler I could not be more skeptical of using a travel agent. As far back as I remember I have traveled with my family internationally and through the US. I love traveling so much that I worked as motorcycle tour guide in Spain for two years organizing and leading tours. With my experience the thought of using a travel agent had never crossed my mind. My life leaves me very little time to plan a trip let alone a 30th birthday adventure with my amazing girlfriend to South America. After a close friend recommended reaching out to Donna I hesitantly called, after our first 30 minute conversation I had faith that she had a good idea of what I was looking for but honestly was still hesitant and picturing a package vacation. I was wrong, she exceeded my expectations in every way! I had given her a price point and specific desires, she met the price point and gave me a less and more expensive option as well. Me being a difficult person of course I wanted to mix and match and find other places, no matter what I brought up Donna had a helpful honest answer. In the end we put together a unique trip that was tailer made to fit my expectations and for a price that I could not match no matter how many hours I spent combing deal sites. Just got off the phone with her. Initially I was so excited to have found some one that seemed so nice and knowledgeable and could make this whole shopping for a honeymoon easier and less stressful on me... Then two things went wrong: #1 (the red flag) I explained I wasn't sure if an all-inclusive was right for me since I don't really drink nor eat meat. She told me to go EP (non all-inclusive) and then quoted me at around NINE THOUSAND dollars!?! I told her at that price why would I not just do a sandals all inclusive for four thousand?? She then goes "Oh.. so that's your budget.. four thousand... that's okay... nothing wrong with that..." in a derogatory tone..what???? why WOULD something be wrong with that???? even though my budget is much higher I didn't feel the need to tell her as she was clearly trying to judge me based on my budget. #2 (the hell no, good bye) She tells me "You know, you're not going to like this" and starts rambling and beating around the bush about how I'm doing my own research (um, what bride wouldn't look up honeymoons???) and reading blogs about it ( right... it is 2012, we all read blogs) and that she's going to have to charge me $100 (she initially told me it's completely free and she makes money from the hotels only) that she'll apply later to the hotel when I book with her. I asked her why she suddenly would be charging me $100 for being an informed consumer?? She was literally trying to punish me for being an informed consumer and not an idiot she can squeeze more money from. She goes on to tell me that I will probably not book with her etc etc. um, hello, I'm calling you for your services! and then she tries to refer me to someone else because what else could she say to that?? that was clearly what she was doing. I told her no thanks! if they're doing business with you, I clearly need to stay away! This woman also went on about a few things related to money. She clearly only wants to help people who can spend lots of money (sucks for you Donna, I was one of them) and that really bothers me. I want someone customer service oriented, not someone who is just trying to squeeze money out of you. I am really offended at how she judged me and I hope all you Yelpers take this to heart. BE AN INFORMED CONSUMER!!!! AND DON'T LET PEOPLE LIKE THIS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU! read more

I know in the current age of technology, a lot of us book our trips online, but let me tell you why I won't be doing that now. Donna was superb. I was planning a trip for 7 of my friends for our 40th Birthday Celebration. Work schedules, kid schedules - it wasn't easy. But once we decided Mexico was where we wanted - Donna got to work. I can see pictures online, but only someone as experienced and knowledgeable as Donna can hear what we're looking for, and tell us exactly where to stay and not stay - based on our needs and individual personalities. And not just what resort to pick - she knows exactly what cities, and what beaches are best for your needs. It's all paradise, but not every paradise has what makes you feel like you're on vacation. Her suggestions and choices were on-point. And we were all extremely impressed at what she was able to deliver for our somewhat restricted budget. Arranging to get 7 ladies from 4 different cities to all arrive with no incident - is truly shocking. From the moment we stepped off the arranged shuttle van, and were greeted with our first (of many) cocktails, the trip just kept getting better.
