When we asked the chef, he said these were made fresh. Oh well, I have never had any fresh briskets taste like that, at least not in Oklahoma. Dark. Best thing that could have happened to me. Brothers Meathouse was the pivot, and Jesse -- the general manager -- made sure we never looked back. He took care of us from the moment we walked in. The kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. I'm a brisket guy. Have been my whole life. And this brisket? It earned it. Order it moist. Don't overthink it, don't ask questions -- just say moist and trust the process. You'll understand when it hits the table. Everything we had was firing on all cylinders. I eat mine plain but they have quite the selection of burgers and fries/ring options. The drinks are in a fridge with normal selection of sodas and teas along with bottled water. The price seemed fair and I was able to use Apple Pay off my phone. I was given a beeper and found a table behind the trailer. I wish there was a little shade over the tables but nonetheless it was a pleasant day so no worries. My pager went off and I got my food freshly made and hot. The fries were good. They had a little batter to them and they were good portion size. The burger, however was a little disappointing. It seemed to be a patty premade almost frozen style. I wish they would make 1/2 pound burgers with fresh meat and hand make the patties but that's not the case. After eating lunch I decided I would not go back until they improve burger quality.
