PHA provided a very reasonable proposal to accomplish our move in three steps: the pre-move, the actual move, and the move-in to the new house. So the first step was to do the "Pre-Move" which meant cleaning out 20 years of accumulated treasures and preparing our house for marketing. This was a much larger task than I had anticipated, but the PHA crew accomplished efficiently and gracefully. It's not easy deciding what can go bye-bye (and if so, where, when, and how) and what should go into storage awaiting the actual move. Peggy's crew were hard-working, asked questions when there was ever any doubt, and wrapped and boxed our belongings carefully. Peggy provided very helpful advice on what ought to stay in the house and what adjustments could be made to how we presented things. 7 months later, as actual moving day drew near, Peggy organized the movers and brought her crew in to wrap, box, and prepare everything that needed to be moved to the new house. All dishes, artwork, and furniture were prepared and staged for the day the movers arrived, so the move went super efficiently and without a glitch. At the new house, Peggy's crew was there all day to un-box and put away all manner of furnishings. Since they had done the front end of the move, they had good ideas about what we wanted for setup in the new house, and they worked a full day on moving day and two days after, helping us unpack and setup. They were extremely cheerful and hardworking.....and above all, they were super neat. All paper, cardboard, bubble wrap, and tape was collected and bundled for recycling, and one call to the waste company had it all taken away.....so within the first week our new house was completely set up with no post-moving residue whatsoever. Now that I think back on it, I know PHA was worth every single penny. Knowing what I know now, if there were no such thing as Peggy Hughes Associates, I wouldn't move. She fills a need that you might not know you have until it's too late. Unless you call PHA first!

In retrospect, I wish we had hired them for unpacking too! They were prompt, communicative, courteous and professional. In fact, they moved us after we left and we trusted them to handle everything including handing over keys to the rental office. They are not the cheapest in town but their prices are fair and reflect their professionalism.

Our realtor, who had never worked with Pamper Haus team, was extremely impressed and everyone who saw our place with fresh new looking were really impressed. Heather and her team are professional, skilled, and kind. They were great about checking in with me about my preferences, but needed almost no direction in order to effectively do their job. They also clearly have an eye for strong organization -- things were unpacked logically and easy to find. We're only about three weeks in, but so far everything is staying organized, in large part because everything has a logical place. Heather's team works closely with Niall and from Fiddler's Green Moving, and during our second move (8/2024) we contracted with both companies under one simple invoice with InPlace, which is a pretty epic and streamlined way to do things. Niall's team and Heather moved everything into boxes in one day, and then Niall and Heather's teams unpacked it all on day two. This means all of our stuff went from being unpacked in our old house to fully unpacked and organized in our new house in just two days!! I am certain it would have taken my family weeks if not months to do everything they did. Overall, I found it to be an amazing value for the peace of mind and time savings. Second... when the movers show up in a UHaul truck instead of a labeled company truck, a red flag should be raised. Two young men showed up and proceeded to box our property. In my opinion, they were rather slow. I helped box our property and I was much faster filling a box than they were. In addition, they boxed and loaded items that I expressly said I did not want boxed. In my past experience with movers, they have asked if they should box some items like shoes and clothes. I specifically set aside some items saying that I needed them. When I tried to find those items, I learned that they were packed and buried behind other property. Not only did they take a long time to pack, it took them more than 6 hours before they finally loaded the truck. And this was with the help of my wife and myself. In fact, they did not load everything and I had to finish the job myself the next day. As I said, more than 8 hours of labor and the job wasn't completed to our satisfaction. And I paid for their lunch break. I was a little upset that the lead mover told me that they worked straight i.e nonstop the whole time that they were there. They took a break (that is to be expected, but don't say you worked nonstop without a break). AND while they were loading things into the storage unit, I saw him standing on one of my boxes. Not at all professional and very disrespectful. And here is the kicker... upon "completion" of their work, they asked for CASH for the balance. I told them I was not informed of that. They should have told me that before we finalized our contract. That is something the client should know before work begins. It should be noted that this company has been in business since 2016 and I am the first to write a review. I can not recommend this business and my rating reflects my disappointment. Yes, they got most of it into the storage unit. But this was more than a 2 person job and I paid the price for thinking I found a good deal.

We agreed upon a $3,000 deposit as I thought a $4,000 deposit was too high. Luckily for me, my apartment sold off the market weeks before it was to be listed. My realtor contacted Sandra TWO WEEKS before the staging was to be done and she refused to refund all or any part of the $3,000 deposit. The contract did state non-refundable; however, it didn't seem reasonable that she would find it conscionable to keep the whole $3,000 deposit. My expectation was for a reasonable conclusion. Not to mention my realtor uses her often. She gave him no regard either (favor to a frequent client since she works with him often). Very disappointed in how Sandra handled this situation. Overall, bad experience, and I would not use this company again.

Cindy listened to our needs. We had a condo that needed to be sold quickly. She was able to respond quickly to all emails and meet our HOA's requirements. When she was done staging, it was breath taking. She made it clean, modern, spacious and welcoming. Her moving crew were very efficient and mindful not to damage the walls or elevators. I believe due to her staging, our condo sold more quickly than anticipated. Our realtor had a showing of the unit before it went on the market. After they removed their items from walls, they left holes in the wall, tore off plaster, and scuffed the walls. But they got paid by the seller, so why would they care about the buyer or the condition of the house after they left? Also, they had the garage door opener and when returning it after the sale, they just left it out in the open on the front step. Couldn't even bother to put it in a secure location, like the mail box.
