I recently hired Done Right Plumbing to repair my backyard water faucet. They were timely and very professional. They discovered another issue with the back flow valve to my pool and provided a VERY competitive quote and actually had the parts with them. They completed the work and explained the new parts were made of materials that were up to code and would not rust like the other part had causing the breakdown. I called them for a "free estimate" and ended up wasting my entire morning on waiting on a guy who certainly looked "bonded" per say...just not of the insured kind. He came & left my home more than 4 times (to eat or have fun for all I know), only to have him come back at noon stating he can't fix it, and that the lowest he can charge me for his masterful work was $90 (I effectively bought.his new tools and lunch today). Do not hire. The plumber they sent out we later found out was a subcontractor. He gave us a quote which was inline with other bids we had. Horrible service, quality of work and took too long for a simple project - needless to say I had to hire others to fix and finish his job. Still have issues which they don't want to address and won't respond. I had to report them to the az registrar of contractors just to get him to come and fix the lousy sewer job which I had to repay with the promise of reimbursement from them. No response and no reimbursement for the additional costs. Stay away from them. They are NOT reliable or have any integrity. Never ever deal with this contractor (Done Right Plumbing); the Owner (John Benedict) is irresponsible contractor; he did works in my leach field system and the underground plumbing line and it fails in less than a year; No water is draining to the leach field, causing the septic tank to be full of water; when we ask him to come out he give you ALL various reasons not to come and attitude; and when he did the works, he destroy the irrigation Lines and the electrical lines and when you ask him to fix it, he gave you "F" and "MF" words in the text message; I kept his text message and I will show it to the judge and the AZ ROC inspector. I called Done right because they had a coupon in the Valupac that came in the mail. I needed a kitchen sink and faucet removed and the new one installed. I requested a "tentative" quote when scheduling the appointment but was told that would be given to me at time of appointment. The plumber arrived during the scheduled time frame and looked at the job. I did not have him do the job when he gave me a price of close to $1900.00. I couldn't believe the cost. I paid the $59.00 trip cost for him to come and try to charge such an outrages fee for a sink and sent him on his way. read more

On August 2nd, I started communicating with the owner (Jenny) of Done Right Plumbing via text after getting a response to my project request on Thumbtack. The problem I was facing was that of a slow leak from my bathtub faucet. Per our text exchange, I stated that I could not afford to pay more than $130 total and if the repair would cost more than that, we would have to wait to have our trusted handyman take a look at the leak on August 5th. The owner proceeded to tell me that a new plumbing part--which costs in excess of $50--was going to have to be installed and that they would fix my problem for $130 total. I was told by the owner that she was giving me a huge price break on this repair and that she would appreciate me writing a favorable review as a way of saying thanks. In the morning of August 3rd, a plumber named Judd came here and performed the repair in only 15 minutes. During the repair, Judd showed me some minor damage to a recently-installed $19 (Mixet brand) stem which he said he had repaired as part of the fix required to stop the leaking. Later in the day of August 3rd, I tried politely asking the owner a few questions about the repair Judd had done. The repair invoice simply said "Repaid Mixet Shower Valve." It became evident that the aforementioned part which costs "over $50" was not installed--let alone any new parts. I was told that I should be appreciative that they had helped me out by doing a supposedly normally-priced $280 repair for $130. Additionally I was told they "warrantee" they work so if the problem persisted they would help me. Despite the rather rude nature of the owner's emails, I decided to just let things go as to not make things more awkward if I needed the plumber to come back. After the leak came back--even worse than before I contacted this company again. On August 6th, to inform them of the faulty repair, I emailed both the owner and the plumber who did the repair (Judd). In the morning on the 7th the owner emailed me back saying Judd would be in touch with me shortly. Two hours later, Judd texted me saying that if the leak had come back, I would have to pay them around $725 for a repair and that they would apply $65 of the $130 paid towards the new repair. I replied to Judd, telling him I did not have that kind of money and that I would never have paid $130 for a 15-minute repair job that was supposed to have solved my problem. So much for the owner's "We warrantee our work." This has to be my worst experience with a plumber that I've ever had. Update on 8/15: A honest plumber came and did the repair the right way for only $65 labor. He confirmed Done Right had not installed a new Mixet stem so he had to buy another at Home Depot. He said that Done Right calling it a $280 repair was one of the craziest things he ever heard! I asked Done Right to refund $100 of the completely wasted $130 I paid them and they've refused. read more

If you need ANY plumbing work completed, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't hire this company. I've worked with a number of plumbers over the years, and these guys are the best I've ever conducted business with. That said, I had a very difficult plumbing job. I had three other plumbing companies telling me it could take anywhere from 3-6 hours to complete, and all didn't seem confident that they could complete the task. "Done Right" had their tech Jake come out.... He perfectly completed the job within one hour! The company is lucky to have him as he's an amazing employee! Quick, efficient, reasonable and the work is top notch. Like I said, do yourself a favor and use this company. He did a great job installing my new water heater which he also recommended to me. He also gave me a six year labor guarantee (at his own expense) above and beyond the water heaters six year guarantee. I'm fully expecting that I won't be needing either warrant but if I do I feel confident John will come back and honor his guarantee and take care of me. Jenny went above and beyond to fix our shower tile. Our shower had mold and improper sealing. We had it "fixed" several times before only to have it become moldy within a month. We used grout doctor previously and a few other vendors. She was the only person that took the time to determine the cause of the problem and then thoroughly cleaned out the mold and properly grouted the areas that needed it. She fixed and sealed the shower and regrouted areas that we didn't even know were an issue. This is an example of someone who knows what they are doing and takes pride in their work. We are extremely satisfied with her work and she was also a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her! read more

Our first exposure to Done Right was the afternoon my wife was about to give birth to our first child at home. Upon trying to fill the birthing tub I realized we had no hot water. Based on a neighbors recommendation I called Done Right just before 5pm. After briefly describing our predicament and how we needed help right away, John came racing out to save the day. He arrived at 6, and worked on our water heater for the next 90 minutes to get it producing hot water. He's been our plumber of choice since. We've had Done Right back out to fix faucets, toilets, hose bibs, etc. Anything plumbing related we know we can always count on John and his entire team at Done Right. We had issue with our drains clogging and we called Done Right Plumbing after looking at the reviews. John came out sooner then the time that was given, even on the weekend. John cleared the drain and offered to camera to the line, we did not have a clean out and one needed to be installed. We received a quote and we decided to get the work done. It was done with in 48 hours and my yard was dug up significantly and put back better than they way they found it. The cost was exactly the amount of the estimate, with no hidden charges. The plumber was called for a water heater issue. The water heatier was not heating the water enough. He changed the temperature to a high setting (which is not recommended- just masking the underlying problem), forced it to work hard and it broke in less than a week. read more

I would not recommend using Done Plumbing for any major plumbing repair in your home. They were contracted by me to repair a plumbing line in my home which they did not repair correctly and their workers also broke a faucet in my bathroom (which they have consistently told me they did me a favor by replacing the broken faucet as they more or less saying that they didn't break it). The first time around the repair time was quite lengthy and the company was horrible in their ability to communicate status of repair to me or meet the timelines that they put in place for completion. As I said they did not fix the problem right the first time so the second repair effort if seemed they rushed through the process. At the end of the day Done Plumbing felt they repaired the line 95%. Yes they gave me more options and I told them to stop as I was just done with working with them but what is most interesting that one employee said one thing to me and another employee said something completely opposite to my son about what could happen to the line in the future.
