My car was vandalized in the Barker Cypress Shopping Center parking lot where this PF is located with no working camera surveillance. Thankfully, I wasn't injured and insurance covered the repairs. There are no pictures of the gym. My review highlights the Most Valuable Manager, James, Houston (Langham Creek) location, that I've come across during the multiple locations I've frequently visited. He painstakingly cleans the exterior gym storefront windows, sills, doors, the exercise machines, refills cleaning supplies, while helping guests with gym amenities, etc. If you don't locate him squatting while cleaning the gym and keeping his head on a swivel, then he's not on the work schedule that day! I approached him once because I needed him to verify whether he was THE MANAGER! It's inspiring to know his dedication and commitment are always center stage for staff and members alike. The staff are super friendly, the area is very spacious, no issues with parking, and the amenities are easy to use. None of the machines were down or out of order. All of the amenities that you would expect are on point such as their tanning booth, Hydra massages, and total body enhancement machine for black card membership holders. One downside is that the ceiling is kind of low compared to some other Planet Fitness locations. As a result, heat built up is a significant factor. Coupled with the fact that there aren't really any big ceiling fans makes for and easily overly sweaty gym session if you're expecting a well ventilated gym floor. Otherwise, it's still very convenient if you happen to be in the area.

I was a little scared of falling in the water and everyone did at one point but we mostly stayed on the boards doing the various yoga poses. The class was about 50 minutes long and very well worth the cost of 45.00. We were able to tighten the tether to keep the boards from shifting so much during class. Since I move around the country with my travel and contract lifestyle it made sense to keep my services for hair cuts & color at Lifespa at Lifetime Fitness, instead of finding a salon in every city I move to, that can cut & color my hair. I have been to Lifespa for services to cut and color my hair in GA, VA and TX. Every time I went to Lifespa the service went well and the hair stylists were always professional and kind. Worth every penny. Today I was treated so poorly by AB a hair stylist and colorist at Lifespa Fitness in CYPRESS TX with 14 years experience. She refused to do my service and humiliated me infront of other customers. Six weeks ago she colored my roots, cut my hair and blew it out. She advised me to book a root touch up, gloss & face framing cut at check out and schedule it before my birthday brunch. I took her advice and scheduled it the day before my 51st birthday brunch. Today was my appointment the day before my birthday brunch tomorrow. She walked up already in a bad mood. The traffic had me 15 mins late. I apologized for my delay. Maybe she was feeling over whelmed because the time I was scheduled for my service was 4pm and it was going to take time. She could have been more polite and professional. She sat me at her station and started dry cutting my hair pieces around my for face framing with a razor. The ends of my hair she was cutting with a razor look like split ends. I spoke up and asked can she use scissors because that makes my hair look like split ends. Which is a problem with my thick hair. Point cutting also makes my hair look like split ends. We had this conversation at my last appointment with her. She mixed the color but did not start to deposit it on my root. She was offended I asked her to use scissors instead of a razor. Instead of being accommodating she refused to do my hair and pushed me to leave. I explained to her tomorrow is my birthday brunch and you said you would take care of my hair the last time I saw you. I asked will you at least do my roots and a blow out. She refused. I was so humiliated. I saw her 6 weeks ago. She was so nice, talkative and fun. Today she was horrible. There was NO MANAGER on site to speak to about this horrible humiliating treatment. Be Cautious.

Also, to say that there was zero debate is a complete fallacy. Did I not contact your gym several times for this current pending membership charge? I had to contact your gym for the third time and let them know that I would be filing fraud charges. You would know these issues arose if you were present at your gym frequently. In addition, my friend and I gave you gym a 45 day notice verbally, and written notice 30 days prior. No one at the front desk or our trainer knew the steps to closing out our membership. We were sent away and told to speak to Tim who was out on medical leave, and you were out of town. When we were able to finally speak Tim we were told to write our names and numbers on a sheet of paper and we would be called, which we were not (hence why we were charged this month). I know you were aware because I overheard your convo with my trainer saying "his pay might be affected." Time started on Thursday (August 2nd) he never received the paper. When my friend called he said he did, however she was still charged, and has been waiting days for a return phone call. So are these business mistakes or just an poorly run business?
