My gym advertised a class for BOGA SUP SOL Yoga and I was excited to sign up. The boards are placed in the pool and you must get on them and balance yourself while doing Yoga. April was our instructor and we had a small class of 4 people. Classes are held in the pool. I was a little scared of falling in the water and everyone did at one point but we mostly stayed on the boards doing the various yoga poses. The class was about 50 minutes long and very well worth the cost of 45.00. We were able to tighten the tether to keep the boards from shifting so much during class. They offer other dates and times and also Pilates. read more

You get what you pay for. I renewed my membership about a month ago but kept my other gym memberships. I use different gyms for different things. I come here when it's go time and I'm super driven and focused. Men's locker room is always spotless and clean. Steam room, sauna and showers are the bomb. Cafe has excellent healthy options. There is no better gym than Life Time at Cypress! The gym itself has everything you need and it's CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! The minute you walk in, it smells more like a spa than a gym! The classes are fantastic but better yet, the coaches are INCREDIBLE! Don't be afraid to try a new class, the trainers are welcoming, inviting, encouraging and supportive. Shout out to: Adrian, Molly, Skye, Yolanda, Jen L., Dawnelle and DeeDee for their positivity, enthusiasm (especially Adrian at 5am on Mondays), kindness and friendliness. The gym has great facilities: locker room, sauna, steam room, indoor/outdoor pool and numerous pickle ball courts!! First time back in several years, it definitely did not disappoint. I was a member back when the price was $119 a month, I did have a bit of sticker shock at the $179 a month. However this is what I learned I have tried 5 gyms in the last 6 weeks, some big name ones and some private ones. For me the pool, sauna and steam rooms are majorly important. While the other locations I tried are cheaper, I feel you get what you pay for. The clientele here is good, mostly adults that know how to behave, not a bunch of teens or kids running around , it is very clean, the women's locker room is very spa-ish. There is everything you might need to have after a workout, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, q-tips, ect .. I really appreciate how clean this location is and the front check in counter staff was very helpful. Coming from the Austin, TX North Lifetime and this location is average. Limited machines insanely busy compared to the other locations, tvs are always on some random channels no one wants to watch, & my rates have since increased joining here. Not sure if it's worth the rates anymore. Luckily everyone is very nice at this gym, as this is the case for most Lifetimes. "Renovations" were completed in the sauna/hot tub in the men's locker room, it legit looks the exact same lol. Can the corporate please take into consideration the lousy door on the entrance to the sauna? This is something that actually needs to be renovated. It's the reason why the sauna rarely gets to above 170. read more

Love this location and how well it is kept up! My kids love going to the Kids Academy and Parents Night Out on Saturday nights. Everything can be done through the app, sign up for classes, order food, etc. We love to workout then hit the pool where you can order food/snacks from your chair. Recently started playing pickle ball, they have 10 courts available to reserve and play on. They also do leagues and lessons. We can spend the whole day here and have a blast! Everyone is so friendly and they keep it really clean. read more

Robbers. I signed up and during COVID they suspended and didn't charge me. I abandoned my email and they continued to charge me for several months on a card I didn't monitor. Only when I got the bank notice of fraud on the card and cancelled it did I get a call from them... looking for money. When I explained that I had moved away, they said they needed me to cancel in writing or I would still owe them. It's all about the money, not being ethical or even reasonable. They wouldn't give me a refund of any month or even offer to come back for some free months. I don't recommend them to anyone. read more

Closed, full, unusable, Closed. I've been going to Lifetime for 6 months total. I was interested in their basketball court(s) for the last couple of months. Things were going OK until they started closing the basketball court for summer camps. I was okay the first, third, and fifth time until I've had it. They CLOSED the basketball courts for the summer camps. They aren't always closed, but it is very inconvenient that I have to leave or come up with a backup plan, and when they are closed, they aren't being used. nobody's inside. I come in the morning, so they usually kick me out or it's already closed. I was bothered, but I went to the weights and they were FULL. Maybe the treadmills? A MALFUNCTION. Okay, maybe the pool. CLOSED. This really bothered me. My recommendation: Come if you have multiple back-up plans and time. read more

I've been a member for over a year now and it's on a steady decline. It's become a drop off for parents to leave their unattended teens there. Some even drive over on golf carts. The fire lane/main entrance, is always blocked with people who don't park to pick up their kids, some even block the empty handicap spaces to wait. There are back packs all over the gym floor even though there are signs that say no back packs allowed on the floor. Sooooo many people with tripods/selfie sticks only add to the clutter. I hope it's just the summer that brings these elements because it was not always like this. Hopes this helps. Great facilities and amenities than most gyms. read more

I have been loving Lifetime Fitness Cypress! The facilities and amenities are well kept and clean, and the staff are really welcoming. Parking can be a pain especially during prime times/after work hours, and the gym itself can also get crowded. I enjoy taking fitness classes, and find myself most motivated in group workout settings, so the classes offered here are right up my alley. The app is also convenient and helpful when scheduling classes, as I am a huge schedule oriented/to-do list person. It's been challenging finding a gym in the suburbs that offers fitness classes that are up to par with knowledgeable instructors and class intensity, compared to the boutique studios I've been to in the city, but I've been so impressed with Lifetime and it has won me ov! My favorite classes I've taken so far have been SOL (heated)- guided hot yoga flow and AMP Cycle, and Barbell Strength- loved the energy and it was such a great workout. Daisy, Monica, and Jennifer D. are of few of my favorite instructors! Can't wait to continue to take advantage of all that Lifetime has to offer! read more

Spa Review- Facial! I am a lifetime member and I had a few lifetime bucks to spend so booked a facial. I choose the brightening facial and I am very happy with the results. The spa area in the back is very relaxing with dim lights and various rooms. The receptionist was very pleasant and offered me some cucumber water while I filled out the intake form on my skin and overall health. A few minutes later my esthetician came and got me. She asked me a few questions, provided a robe that wrapped around like a towel, left the room for a few minutes, asked me to lie down and looked at my skin. She then let me know my skin was dry and that she would address that and my dullness. The facial was good, but the massage at the end was so great. It was focused on my upper back and shoulders. She used enough pressure and felt like a massage, not just an add on at the end. After my massage my face was so dewy and glowing. It is still very hydrated after 5 days. I am impressed and will go again for a facial. My esthetician's name was Natalia. She isn't too chatty or too quiet. She did a great job on my skin! read more

This place has everything you need to become the best version of yourself. There's a large locker room with showers, jacuzzis, wet and dry steam room, pools, and a ton of other amenities. They also have a full service salon. The only thing that I don't appreciate is that when I go there there's two staff members that aren't what I would call friendly. I go up there not looking my best because I don't care to get ready before getting sweaty in the gym, but I do notice the dirty looks from them. So let's just say It has bothered me enough to look at other places. The lack of hospitality from these two has been going on for some time and it's affecting my attendance, so time to move on. read more

Fantastic gym. Clean equipment, large space and a variety of classes available. The cafe is great for after working out as it provides nothing but healthy food! The staff is great and they maintain the women's locker room very well. There's tampons, makeup wipes, hair spray, hair dryer, towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc you name it! It's great! DO NOT COME TO THE BASKETBALL COURT DURING SUMMER. I'm not sure if they specify this somewhere but it is always closed during the summer for "summer camps." This is outrageous. I pay so much money to come here and I don't have access to things that I want to do. I do not understand why they couldn't make a separate court for the kids (and they do already have one for them, I'm not sure why they need a second one.) Update 2: after hanging up with the personal training manager, he sends my husband an email to inform us we will be refunded because he contacted the trainer who confirmed I had a neck injury and never trained in February. A phone call would have been appropriate after insinuating I was possibly lying & lifetimes own system showing I never walked into the gym wasn't proof enough. I'll take the refund I deserve, but I will be also taking my business elsewhere. Thanks. Update: I received a call from the PT manager stating he was out of town. Would have been nice if I were told that 6 days ago when I asked to speak with him & left a customer service form. He insisted I provide text message proof from February stating I had a neck injury & that's why I wasn't present in the gym and present for any training sessions I was charged for. Apparently, lifetimes system showing I never checked into the gym isnt enough for them to prove I didn't use my session. Don't bother buying any sessions for nutritional or personal training. Bookings/charges aren't shown on the member end after you pay up front. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB & looking into filing a fraud complaint with my card provider. read more

I don't even know where to start! This location is stunning, beautiful, and screams high-end luxury fitness environment! From the moment you walk in you're greeted by super friendly staff. I signed up for Life Time the moment their pre-sales began, since then I missed the grand opening and just now am able to come in for the first time. I let the staff know it was my first time here and a tour of the facility would be nice. The staff was more than happy to give me a tour of the gym, no lie, they were super excited to show me the place. They asked what my interests were and of course I had to say the cardio equipment but most importantly the lap pools! This location has multiple temperature controlled lap pools both indoor and outdoor and they are open to adults up until midnight! That's huge! Most Life Time gyms close the pool off around 10pm so this is a huge plus for me. I checked out the cardio floor and there were plenty of cardio machines to go around, and majority of the equipment is top of the line smart equipment that will sync with your Apple Watch with just a tap.. seriously.. just a tap.. no need to go to settings and look for the pairing mode.. it was that easy! They have over 100 classes available that you can take all included within your membership with the exception of a few like swimming. Want to get DAT ASS nice and PHAT? They have a class just for that! Yaaaas! Extremely clean gym with tons of towels to go around. The locker room, showers, and restrooms are stocked with shaving razors, shaving cream, Q-Tips, and quality cleansers. This is a bit extra but they have it.. alcohol.. yup.. you read that right.. I mean it's pretty appropriate for these Cypress moms I guess. I'm a member of Orangetheory Fitness but I think I've found my new working out home. Definitely check out the place. read more

I go early mornings 5-7am and the place is always and I mean always in top condition, from the locker rooms to the many facilities they have. Not to mention if I do have any minor problem the staff is very helpful and friendly. I don't recommend going in the afternoons around 4-7pm because you will be waiting to use equipment but it's not as packed either around 10-12pm. read more

This gym is highly disrespectful. They have like 8 tennis courts that's always empty yet they rather kick kids and other adults off the basketball courts to play pickle ball. They have a kids academy with a basketball court (that's like half a court) but rather use the main courts upstairs when everyone comes to play ball after work to have 5 kids do outdoor drills that can be done at the kids academy or even outdoors. They'll have random events and not email or message anyone about it, once again utilizing the main basketball courts (fyi this particular event I'm referring to didn't start until a day later but they felt like the courts should be closed until then). Warning: Deceptive business practices! I encourage every member to go onto your app and check your subscriptions. You'd be surprised to find out that this location signs you up for a monthly magazine subscription and charges you $2-$3/month without your consent. I was not made aware of that and after almost 2+ years when I found out, I put in a complaint and asked for a refund and after 2+ weeks, no one has called me back. In addition to that, I encourage you all who have a CC on file for auto-pmts to also check that you're being charged about $3-$4/month for a surcharge. Again I was not made aware of that. I switched it immediately to my debit card and of course I am still awaiting a call back from them to discuss that charge that also wasn't communicated and it has been 2+ weeks w/o a call back. I asked a few other members who are friends of mine if they were aware of those charges on their accounts and 1) they were also being charged the same thing, 2) they were also unaware of it and 3) they also haven't heard back from Lifetime. This is why I am saying they are running a deceiving business. Be diligent and aware for current members and for new members, make sure you read the fine print because clearly the folks signing you up don't care to disclose that information and only care about their commissions. read more

I was in the area for just a few days visiting family, and I had a membership at another Lifetime club in another state. James at the front desk was nice enough to let me use the gym for the time I was in the area as well as bring a couple of my cousins to work out with me. Best gym TBH. I really have no idea what I was thinking considering going back to 24 hr, but I'm so glad I didn't. So clean, fresh and just kept up well. The basketball courts during summer are usually reserved or taken in a few minutes i don't come here only for the court but when i work out at the weights i get sore easily so i cant continue my workout the next days I just recommend that you guys add a separate basket ball court or make a new area for summer camps I wont come during the evening or afternoon because I am busy at those times.This is just a recommendation,please make it usable for both read more

The front desk is not connected to what us going on inside their own gym. I asked the Lady at the front desk if the outdoor Jacuzzi, was open she said yes. I would give this gym five stars but... I've read some reviews about fake smiles and this and that so let's be honest - people are people. We all have bad days, we all have great days. Some of us love our jobs, some are just collecting a paycheck. However, customer service is THE number one factor of customer retention no matter the business. Since I've been a member, I've not received negative customer service at any facility - be it, the pool, lessons, children's play area, etc. The staff is always courteous and professional. Now, if you look around, you'll notice some of the staff is young and somewhat unpolished when it comes to customer service - and this is to be expected at any business. Management can only do so much but excellent leadership can work wonders. The few times I had a concern requiring attention, it was taken care of immediately. Overall, this gym is outstanding. It has updated equipment, excellent facilities, great family programs, and professional staff. I hope another Lifetime Fitness is built closer to Huntsville in the near future because I'd like to continue my membership after we move up there next year. read more
