The students were mesmerized by Inna and her unwavering upbeat attitude and were eager not only to perform their very best, but to also please their teacher and fellow students. Everyone can't be the next Horowitz, but studying piano from someone like Inna will certainly engender an both an appreciation for the piano and music in general that will last a lifetime.

However, if you need to make a change to your billing information associated with lessons or music rentals, it cannot be done online, only over the phone. When you call, expect at least a 30-minute wait for "customer service". I finally called the store, and they were able to correct my billing information for lessons but not the rental. Then I had to spend another 30 minutes trying to get the instrument rental billing fixed. I finally just paid off the instrument balance so I wouldn't have to deal with them again. Finally, the way lessons are handled is a complete scam. Prior to the acquisition, if you needed to cancel a lesson in advance, you were not charged. Now you are charged regardless of when you cancel. You can "make up" the lessons, but this is nearly impossible during the summer when multiple weeks of lessons are being missed. The teacher doesn't have the flexibility to do that many make-ups. In short, it is a total scam. We will be looking for a new lesson location.

About a year ago new owners took over and about four months ago I signed up my son for guitar…read morelessons. Mark Cook is his instructor. My son never played the guitar before. His only music experience was playing the trombone in middle school band. I am truly amazed at his progress. He can now play pretty much any chord, a wide variety of classic rock songs, and his solos are way beyond anything I could have expected. As for the store, their prices are very good. I have bought an electric guitar and an amp here. Got a great deal on both. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have done repairs and a setup and the work was excellent. Best of all, they're open on Sunday's. I highly recommend this place.

My son needed to pick up an acoustic guitar and the staff could not have been more helpful. They had a roomful of choices and expertise on each. Store manager Jon Bon insisted on restringing the floor model for him. He and Billy Darling have been on the staff for decades. Added a hard case and off we went. Great experiences like that you can't get online.

The selection in the store is good. But they have some big corporate issues. The phone system…read moregives an open message when the store is closed. Google hours are incorrect. There is no voice mail. Service phone often rings for 20 rings (gave up after then) and never is answered. The people in the store know about these problems, but the corporate office does nothing to fix it. The corporate call center went so far as to tell me they couldn't control the hours on Google. What? Again, less than stellar workers. Also, personnel is not properly trained. ie: I was told I could get a flute repair done in a week, then I found out it was a month...after I flew to the USA with my flute from another country. So, I bought a new flute. I asked the service department to check it over completely as I did not live in the USA and wanted to make sure there were no issues. Note this was a rather expensive silver flute. They gave it to me saying it was perfect. Well, it wasn't! The interior was filthy...used. The f# key leaks. I am flying back to the USA. It took me 12 phone calls including 2 useless calls to the call center before I could speak to someone. I was promised a call back from the call center in 40 minutes. Never called. Bottom line is, good selection, knowledgeable sales people, lousy service and not the brightest in the call center. I think some of the staff is good at some of the stores, but really, they need training.

I'm a retired person, and was looking forward to this day. I like classical guitar, and restarted playing again after so many years. I marked on my sheet music three sections I had questions about. Cody was assigned to work with me. Unfortunately, things didn't work out as planned. Instead of helping me with what I went there for, he started to tell me that I needed to know the chords, and their names first. That's fine. I can read music and find the notes in different positions without naming the chords. I play the notes out following the sheet music. So, I paid for getting NO help but discouragement. No matter what! I love this piece of music, and will play it. Cody, you act like you know it all. You snowed your BIG weakness by trying to help me. You had hard time reading my sheet music, blaming the person who wrote the arrangement. Well, shape up before you criticize others. Study more classical guitar and methods of teaching!!!!!!! Be considered and respectful to elders!!!!!!!!!!!!

The guys at Atlanta Discount Music were so helpful and patient with all of my questions. As musicians, they know what they are talking about. I felt no sales pressure or sense of urgency. I was able to try as many instruments as I wanted to and they were available for assistance as needed. Their inventory is astonishing! From the outside this looks like a very small building, but inside is packed with everything from basic, inexpensive to high end guitars, keyboards, etc. It is clear why ADM has been around for so long. They know music and good customer service.
