I first came to Donna Bard about five years ago when my hair was multiple colors with a distinct line running through it. I had been trying to fix it for about a year and a half, was losing my mind and I think I cried through the whole appointment. I looked for someone with great reviews and luckily for me picked Donna. She had never met me before, yet spent several hours fixing my hair which miraculously became one color again. And I am not one to receive compliments, but I am stopped almost on a daily basis by people complimenting my hair color (it's auburn/red). Donna has other beauticians stop in almost every time I am there to ask what color she is using because they like it so much. It's her own creation! Donna is exceptional at what she does. She has worked at the studios most of her life. She works on Dancing With The Stars, actually too many shows to name, but her professionalism and expertise are well known and sought after. WOW! After years of searching, I finally found my hair guru! I've been trying to find that "master stylist", and fortunately, I found her...Donna Bard whose resume matches her amazing ability to deliver the best haircuts and color ever. My past haircuts were always the same...no style or flair but a trim on the bottom and angled on the sides and me struggling to "make it work." Donna has a private suite which is not only beautiful but comforting and with swag! When Donna asked about my lifestyle and how I wanted my haircut, I was thinking neither good nor bad because I sooo needed a decent haircut. I shut my eyes and said she was in charge. She cut my hair with precision and an attitude that everyone that leaves her chair will be satisfied. Donna Bard is an amazing hairstylist and make-up artist! She offers extensive experience in hairstyling and in makeup for the stars. I have had my hair done by Donna for a few years now and I always walk out of the salon just "loving" my hair. Wow! This place is such a breath of fresh air! New, clean and modern, and super-comfortable. I had my daughter's head shots scheduled in Westlake Village after a hair and makeup session with Donna at the Suites, and the results were superb. Even the photographer was impressed by how fantastic a job she did in just under an hour, giving her beautiful hair and a wonderful natural makeup look. I've had my own hair cut by Donna numerous times, and always get a nice, clean modern update without any hiccups along the way. I always look camera-ready when I walk out of there! Donna Bard KNOWS hair. She's GREAT at all - cut, color, and blow out. She's also super nice!!! I've known Donna for years. She first did my hair when she was In Beverly Hills, and I like the results so much, I'll travel just so she can do my hair. I know I'll always be pleased. The Salon is also very nice and super relaxing. Easy to park and a very pleasant time while getting your hair done. By the way, she's top notch at make-up. Five stars isn't enough!! Donna did my hair and makeup for a photo shoot. She was recommended to me by the photographer. I was so impressed with what she did for me and the complete transformation that took place! She is a professional and a master, and I would like to get my hair and makeup done by her every weekend! Donna is the best! I travel from West LA to Thousand Oaks (a 45 minute drive) to see her. She is knowledgeabe in color, hair and make-up. I also love the Salon Suites she has created - you can get any beauty treatment done while there (waxing, manicure, pedicure, lash tint, etc). Donna is also so much fun to hang out with too, you can sit and read a magazine or chat with Donna. Can't recommend highly enough! My hair is a chore. Not only is it thick and coarse, its completely silver and I'm still young! However, one would never know it because of Donna.
