First time here and they couldn't be kinder and more skilled. I got bio gel mani and pedi. I have never had a pedi with bio gel but swear by it for manicures. It's bright and new, with soft classical music playing. Everything is new and clean. There are 10 White comfie massage chairs. I'll be a repeat customer. It's literally across the street from BJs Restaurant on Thousand Oaks Blvd. Next to a donut store. Can't hear any outside noise. My massage on my legs and feet was amazing.

I chose Sora because the yelp reviews were amazing and I'm glad I listened to them. First time there I was helped by Sophia and my nails lasted 3 weeks without lifting or chipping. I went today and was helped by Ellie and she was amazing with the design that I chose and took her time. The salon is big and clean, very accommodating to their clients. I live in LA and gladly will drive the 30+ miles to get my nails done here!

Biggest mistake of coming here for my pedicure. The nail tech cut me so bad, I was bleeding right away and throughout the entire time I was there. She kind of pretended like nothing happened. At the end, she applied some Chinese oil in a green bottle that smelled like tiger balm. I don't know how she thought that would help. She apologized. I still paid and tipped her. I asked her if the tools used were professionally cleaned and disinfected, she said yes of course, I sprayed alcohol on it. Omg i don't know if I should get mad or laugh at this point. She sprayed alcohol on what?? The tools or my feet? After coming home, my toe was in pain and swelled up for days. I was in pain putting my foot in my shoes. I called the next day and spoke to a lady who claimed she was the manager, she asked that I return to the nail shop so they can put some "medicine on it" which was a complete joke to me. I asked to speak to the owner, at first the lady claimed she was but I didn't believe her. She offered to have the owner give me a call. I eventually talked to the "owner" and he was more concerned about the possibility of being sued. He kept telling me how he appreciated the fact that I let him know about the situation. I was 7 months pregnant, my concerns of getting an infection worried me the most. Wanted to share this experience so other people are aware. They did refund the cost of the pedi but the $45 is nothing compared to the worry and pain.

What an amazing new nail salon! This place is not only clean, but it has brand new equipment! The pedicure chairs and wide and comfy. The lights at the manicure station are modern and stunning. Besides the esthetics Sora's employees do beautiful work. They truly care about their customers experience and do exquisite work! You must try before they get so busy you won't have a spot.

What a FIND !!!! Everything about this place is first class! Right here in Thousand Oaks. It's new! It's clean! It's conveniently located! Easy parking! Emmy does my gel nails Jenny does my toes. The place is pretty & that's about it!! I had the displeasure of trying out this place today. Got a mani/pedi & the technician didn't understand what I was saying. She had to re-file my nail twice & she still did a terrible job!! There was no cuticle softener or nail oil used. These massages that come with these treatments are 3 min long, at best!! Why in the world did I feel that I HAD to tip?! I'm so mad at myself. Usually, I would ask for the manager & complain but, I won't be coming back!!

Stopped by since I was in the area needing a quick nail fix. So happy I found this spot . Very clean and beautiful salon. Super welcoming staff . I had to get a broken nail fixed, had no expectations on it matching my previous artists work but she got it pretty spot on ! Pedicure was very relaxing as well definitely recommend their signature pedicure service. Will definitely be coming more often to this salon ! read more

I have been getting bio gel and gel x manicures for many years. For the past 6 months I learned to do it myself at home to save money and have enjoyed it. I am going on a trip tomorrow and decided I wanted to pay to get them professionally done for the occasion to treat myself. This was a very good reminder of why I do them myself now... The nail tech was nice and worked quickly... too quickly. They didn't trim my cuticles or the skin around my nails. I asked for an ombré nail design, which is shown on their menu and provided a picture of the exact colors I wanted. Another nail tech came and took my phone to pick colors out and just started painting them on some of my nails before the original tech had even put gel on them. It was very odd... the second tech was rushing the first and was honestly doing a sloppy job. The color ended up being super off.. it was a Christmas tree green instead of a blue- teal color. I don't blame her for that, the bottle looked like a different color than the paint. They were also streaky and completely see-through. She asked if I liked them and I told her those things, and she told me the reference picture was see through too (which it was not-I added the reference) but she still redid them which I appreciated. I picked the new color myself, which matched the reference pic more and also wasn't see-through which was way better. The airbrush was having issues, which I could tell was super frustrating to them which sucks. But they just seemed to not really know how to do it very well. They finished and rushed me out quickly without cleaning any of the gel of my skin. With airbrush they usually wipe the paint off the skin before curing it so this doesn't happen. Now it's been a real pain to try to get off. They also did not clean up the sides of my nails, which were all jagged. I had to do a full nail clean up when I got home. Thankfully I have all the stuff at home to do that. The only reason for 3-stars is that the gel x nails are properly applied and should last. Overall I was not impressed. As a new client who is paying good money (and extra for a nail design) I expect some level of care. Also now knowing how to do a proper gel manicure, it's so obvious when they cut corners and rush (no nail/cuticle prep or clean up, only one layer of paint). And maybe don't offer a service (ombré) if you aren't confident in it or don't have properly working equipment. I wanted to do something nice for myself but ended up having more of a headache in the end, and had to pay my hard earned money for that headache. read more

This was my first visit to this nail spa. The staff member who assisted me was friendly, but they were on the phone throughout much of my appointment. The service was okay, though it wasn't my favorite experience. Unfortunately, my nails started chipping just a few days after my visit, which was disappointing. I've been coming here for a few months, but this time I went they did a bad job. I asked for a polygel fill and they proceeded to do builder gel. The shape is entirely uneven and different from what I asked for, and my nails are bumpy. There are bubbles in the polish and the nails are not evenly painted. The girl doing my nails didn't even bother to use a light, and didn't care to take the time to do my nails properly. read more

I'm semi-new to the area and have tried many of the nail salons in Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and Agoura Hills. Well, I finally found my go-to! The salon is beautiful, super clean and has a lovely relaxed vibe. The nail techs all seem extremely professional and serious about their jobs. I see Emmy who does truly beautiful work. So happy I found this place after two years of living in TO. I've been trying out local nail shops, but I have finally found my go to especially with Ellie. This review is overdue but now that I am officially coming back I wanted to write one! She was efficient and so attention detail oriented. I was super pleased with my bio gel manicure. I got a hard gel fill and they accepted me right on the spot. I liked that they had a variety of cat eye nail colors for me to pick from. They also gave me water and a goodie bag! read more

I went in specifically to help the dryness on my face and it felt like a complete waste of my time and money. Seeing Marci was the complete opposite experience. I actually called her after my disappointing appointment elsewhere, and she spent so much time on the phone answering all my questions. It was immediately obvious she has decades of experience and really knows what she's doing. She's also absolutely beautiful, has such a warm personality, and is genuinely fun to talk to. I also did the pressotherapy massage on my legs with her, to help with contouring/skin sagging and that was absolutely amazing as well. It felt so relaxing and the 30 minute treatment is equivalent to the same amount of circulation as walking 9 miles, which is so cool! The facial itself was SO relaxing I almost fell asleep a few times. The whole space felt so cozy and comfortable, and she made me feel completely at ease. Most importantly, she knew exactly how to treat the dryness and dehydration in my skin. I left glowing, and even today my skin still looks unbelievably fresh and radiant. I'm usually uncomfortable leaving the house without makeup, but my skin looked so good this morning that I didn't even feel like I needed any. When I dropped my daughter off at school this morning, her teacher actually stopped me and asked if I had done something different because I looked amazing. I told her all about my facial with Marci and gave her Marci's phone number. I really was not expecting the results to be this dramatic. I've already booked her for the next two months and I plan on returning every month to keep my skin looking amazing. I was able to get a spot as someone was just leaving. Walking into Top Nails, it is a very busy business but everyone was happy, so that's a good sign. My tech was a bit late, but Steve came to file off my nail color and prepped my nails, apologizing for them running late. I didn't mind, but his concern was appreciated. My appointment was with BinZ who was very friendly. I needed a bio gel fill, and he really impressed me! He was very thorough, and did a TERRIFIC job! I booked another appointment with him for 2 weeks later. He will definitely be my go-to person! My only negative experience was when I went to pay. There were at least 3 girls behind the counter doing their accounting for the day. Not one of them addressed me or offered to assist me after I gave them my charge ticket. (Note: They take cash, check or Zelle only since they don't have card reader.) Since it was my first time, I wasn't sure how to proceed but soon figured out that I could use their tel# or QR code to Zelle them. Overall, the staff is very friendly.
