I bought my dress for my daughter's wedding from Anna and I was so happy. It was classy and gorgeous. I received a TON of compliments. My mother had Anna make her a suit- pants and jacket- for my daughter's wedding and she was beyond happy. She is a hard fit and Anna really took her time helping my mom. Then we sent my aunt to get her dress there and she looked great. THEN I sent one of my closest friend's to Donna Moda and she got a dress for her daughter's wedding. Do not go here. Owner is nasty and takes advantage of elderly customers. Imagine spending $5k on a dress and it is held together by literal single threads. We had 3 instances, 3 different outfits, dropped one dress off in March for alterations, went to pick it up in June with the pins still in it NOT altered at all. Still charged $600 for the alterations on an already $4k dress. Second instance, went to pick up a skirt for the night before the reception. She said don't try it on until the day of. IT WAS NEVER HEMMED. The third and final, you can see the crap job they did in the photos attached. We paid in full and were treated horribly. She must have a rich husband because there is no other way she can stay in business. read more

We had pockets added, dress altered to fit my daughter perfectly a custom jacket with a seamless zipper in the back made for the church and easily removed for the after party. I purchased a beautiful top off Anna's rack a few years ago and it was spectacular. During COVID, when there was nothing in the department stores and I wanted a special dress, I wanted to try her to make a dress. I was a bit hesitant considering some of the reviews I read, but I have to say that my experience with Anna was wonderful. She listened to what I wanted (of course no one is every sure exactly what they want), and she made me a very special - fun, sophisticated, classy cocktail dress that was truly beautiful and elegant. I had asked to get it earlier than expected and Anna did her best to get that done, and she did. I need to also give big kudos to Anna's seamstress as she was lovely, warm, kind and helped me very much in the process. I would highly recommend Anna in accordance with my experience! read more

What a nightmare! Had a custom made gown made for my daughter's wedding. What a nightmare! I ordered my gown in March 2019, the gown was supposed to be finished in June. Her policy was to pay in full when placing a custom order... I should have known first red flag. She charged me $3,500.00 for a custom made gown which we went over in detail of the style and beading (saw a gown in the store as an example). She told me she would call me in few weeks to start making the gown. It was the end of April and I still didn't hear from her. I called her and ask when she would be starting the gown and she said she was waiting for the material. She finally called me in May. She made a pattern of the gown which was totally different than what I asked for. She always rushed me, was rude and acted as thought she was doing me the favor. She finally revised the pattern and said she would start making the gown. It was now June I called her and wanted to know when my gown would be finished. She said, "I don't know there are other people ahead of you." Two weeks passed and still no call. She finally called me back and said the color of the gown is a little different than the color you choose. I had no choice being my daughter's wedding was just 6 weeks away! I finally went in for a fitting. What a NIGHTMARE! The gown was so poorly made.The beading was not put on correctly, the gown fit me poorly, the zipper was broken... a complete mess! She said she would fix it and have it ready in a few days. I did not hear from her so I called and asked when I could pick up my gown. She said it would be another week because the seamstress was out until Monday. She further went on to tell me she had to do more work ( this was because of her incompetence) and that it was going to be more money. At that point just 3 weeks to my daughter's wedding, it was now the end of July I went in and took my gown hoping I could have a professional seamstress fix it. I took it to three different places and they all told me how poorly the gown was made and there was nothing they could do the beading was put on wrong. There was no way I could wear this gown so I had to go out and buy another gown 2 weeks before my daughter's wedding. No words could say the stress this woman put me through. Do not trust her, she is a liar and just interested in taking your money. You can just see by the picture I've provided (beading was put on too high and poorly fitted on me.). $3,500 dollars for this mess! read more

I just picked up my dress from Donna Moda and it was the worst experience in my life. I live in Lancaster, PA which is a three hour drive from Donna Moda and I had to drive up three times due to mistakes on her end. The first trip i brought my dress and Anna told me the alterations were included for FREE; main reason i bought the dress. Went in the second time to get my fitting done and things went well. The third time i went up was a Saturday afternoon and the dress was not altered or anything and Anna claimed that I owed money for alterations; another $200 and everyone knows her dresses are not cheap to being with. Anna spoke to me in the worst way, raised her voice at me and told me I am wrong and she never that; I had three other people that heard her tell me alterations are free. I had no choice but to pay the $200 because my engagement was the following week. I do not recommend her to anyone, she lies, she cheats you out of your money and she speaks to you poorly. I also got home and retried the dress on and noticed mistakes done on the alterations. Terrible experience. I went to Donna Moda for my gown for my daughter's wedding. The owner took my payment in full on my first visit. She made a lot of promises regarding timing and fabric options that she did not honor. After telling me I would have my choice of fabrics for the price I paid, she ultimately gave me a choice of only one, and it was a fabric I did not want. At my protest, she agreed to find another fabric for me, then told me it would be an incremental cost for that fabric. The gown itself was far too long, and she sent me out with a hastily prepared bustle (one hook and eye which was insufficient for the heavy train). I could not walk (never mind dance) in the dress. I ended up having to take the gown to another seamstress to have the hem and bustle fixed, and she found additional problems: the zipper was ripped and the darts were uneven. She could not believe the owner sent me home with the gown in that condition. And I could not believe that after what I paid Donna Moda, I had to pay more to have the dress fixed. read more
