This place is nothing but PURE MAGIC. First of all, the office is GORGEOUS, sparkling clean and warm and welcoming. I disagree with the previous poster about the staff. Every single person in this office is just as nice as the next. They have been with me through happiness and sadness about my teeth and my children. They draw up special treatment plans for you so that you know exactly what to expect and you get no surprises when it comes to payment. So professional. And, you can get as little or as much done as you wish in each appointment (provided you schedule it of course!) The technicians are also wonderful and put you at ease, and offer SPA TREATMENTS anytime you get work done! I have had them all! Neck wraps, paraffin hand waxes, eye treatments, the works. It makes you feel so comfortable! I was always afraid of the dentist office until I started coming here. When you go through the office, there are pictures everywhere of people with beautiful teeth! Turns out, these are their family and patients too! What a great, true advertisement! Lastly, and perhaps most important, the Dentists have heart.... true, caring, sharing professionals who have one concern and only one concern and that is YOU as their patient. Of course we pay them, it is a business, but they don't concentrate on the money, ever. In fact, most recently, Dr. Vagnozzi even did an emergency bonding on a broken tooth in time for my vacation. It was tooth magic and she did not even charge me! Dr. Grossman is amazing and so professional and yet warm and caring as well. I know that any time I have to go there, no matter who they have work on me, it will be perfect! We would not dream of going anywhere else... ever. Its a bit of a distance for us to drive and worth every extra minute. They are not open weekends, but bend over backwards to get you late appointments and that is good for me. Can't recommend this office! Dentists and hygienists keep changing too frequently since the original owner, Dr. Vagnozzi, left few years ago. They overcharge and it's not easy to get your money back as they evidently also lack proper accounting. I sought refund on multiple occasions and still haven't received any yet. read more

Went here a handful of times for cleanings. This place is an insurance driven operation. They have a hard time keeping employees. I always have a new person every time I go. There is nothing SPA like about the place. It seems like the doctors I've seen during my check ups always want to do more work in my mouth than necessary. I don't trust anyone here !!!! I'll stick to paying a little more for a much better quality of work performed at another dentist. If I had two more hands I would give them 4 thumbs down. My family and I went to this practice for 15 years, but since they were bought out it has been a terrible experience. They told my daughter she needed 6 fillings because they found cavities, and every single one of them has fallen out. As other reviews have shared, it's next to impossible to get someone on the phone and I would never trust this group. Billing Nightmare! Three years and counting. They sent me to collection at least three times. Admitted they messed up and billed my two insurance companies incorrectly (red flag) and still continue to drag their feet to resolve the issue. BEWARE: BILLING NIGHTMARE! I was recently charged a $25 fee for one of my free cleanings covered by my insurance. After speaking with the billing department, they said it was all cleared up - only to receive a bill from a collection agency a month later. My second nightmare was being quoted $150 for an elective dental procedure I was coerced into - which turned out to be over $500!! When I told them I couldn't afford it because I had only planned for what they had quoted me, they charged me over $125 for a missed appointment fee! NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE!! This place has gone very downhill lately. Most of the assistants don't know what they are doing - and neither does the front desk. I had multiple X-rays done with mouth pieces that were way too big for my mouth, but then was told I need 4 root canals with no explanation when that's not the case. This is by far the worst dentist's office and people I have ever been to or met. I had a consultation and xray done at another dentist's office. They sent over the xray and notes. This practice made me come in for another consultation and xray, costing me over $100. Then they refused to give me anything for pain -- I had a root canal done incorrectly (at another practice) and they left a part open to infection, a LOT of infection. Everyday all day long I feel like I have been punched in the face. It is one of my front teeth and I feel pain from the tooth up to my temple. There is now a hard bubble on my gum of my tooth and a hard bubble on the roof of my mouth. I can't drink anything hot or cold and I can barely eat. I told them I was in significant pain and they did nothing about it. When I asked to speak with the office manager I was told "I can't tell the doctor to prescribe something he doesn't want to". "Are you really going to get this solved, because in the past you haven't come back." Yes that was because I had a stroke and lost my insurance and had to go see a hack dentist that messed up my tooth!! Also you are telling me you refuse to give me pain meds because of I didn't come back for a cleaning or whatever? "The antibiotic will help with pain" --I had already done a course of antibiotics for this tooth. "We want to get this going to get you out of pain" Understood but what you are telling me is that I have to come back again to have a consultation with the correct dentist. Then come back again to take an impression. Then come back again to have the tooth pulled. Then come back again to put in an implant. That is at the fastest a 4-5 week process (also I have a job that I would like to keep and can't miss that much work). I told the office manager I understood the process and was willing to do it as fast as I could, she asked "if I was willing to go through the financial part of it because I had issues before" (have you ever been poor lady?) I said yes. Then during our conversation she got up and walked out of the room and said good luck. She took one look at me and my chart and summed up that I was this poor drug addict just looking for a high. PLEASE I hate taking pain meds, but when I need to I should be able to. I can't believe how I was treated. Writing this I am still in shock, thinking this could never happen. I cried for hours about this, about the pain, about how she made me feel, about how no one cared about my pain because I am 33 and people assume I am looking for drugs. This would NOT have happened if a 60 year old man came in with the same exact problem. Aren't you supposed to do no harm. Let me sum you up then. Get off your high horse you Jersey scum. You are greedy, rude, arrogant, incompetent and really just a jerk (I so wish I could call you what I really want to. Just so you know it starts with a C). You are not there to help people but to make them come back again and again so you can charge either them or their insurance companies. You should care about your patients not about how much money is in your pocket. And OH MY GOD take the giant fake painted photograph of you and your perfect children off the wall of EVERY consultation room. read more

I ran! Ran so far away! Went in for cleaning and xrays and eval. I had zero pain and zero complaints. Tried to find a new dentist since my dentist was retiring. Turns out they found minute findings that they qualified as cavities and recommended crowns, drilling and an extra few thousand that I would pay out of pocket. Asked for the xrays so they knew what was about to take place :) Went back to my original dentist and found that a filling was loose and he replaced it, lickety split! Since then, my dentist has retired and found another reputable dentist that cares about my health and not my money, money, money. BTW, i only got a neckwrap out of my first vist. Perhaps if I went back and had all that additional work they suggested, I could get the paraffin hand wax and cucumbers on the eyes :) My current dentist is not a spa dentist and does not have all the thrills but they care about my teeth health. read more

I thought this place had potential, but then it just all went downhill... First they took away the weekend hours. Then they continue to hire the rudest receptionists (with the exception of a very nice young lady up front). Then, one of the dentists obviously does not understand or respect the simple concept of doctor/patient confidentiality. He kept blabbering about other patients illnesses and diseases while showing me pictures of them (full frontal head shots). He knew very well he should not be discussing these patients with me because he specifically said that "I probably shouldn't tell you..." Finally, they always tell you they "recommend"additional work such as bleaching, Invisalign, and veneer work to people who really don't need them and will not qualify for insurance to pay for. My husband was a patient at this dentist office - they sent bills for a dental visit that my husband never had, and never returned multiple phone calls to try to resolve it. Then they sent threatening letters saying that they were going to send it to a bill collector. Not wanting to have our credit ruined for no reason, we pay the bill, but sent a letter and documents along with it to prove that we did owe this amount. They again did not respond to phone calls, and while this was during the quarantine when they were closed, I find it hard to believe that no one was checking their messages or their mail. I would stay far away from this office unless you want to be threatened to pay a bill for services you didn't receive. read more

UPDATE; As of Monday 5/8/17, I just spoke with the office manager who stated that Aetna is still denying payment for my claims because Donna Vagnazzi's office sent them in years past the claims payment date. I received a letter back from NJ Attorney Generals Office stating they were forwarding my complaint to NJ Board of Dentistry. I proposed a very small payment that I would accept to settle this complaint so we could move on. The office manager said she will get back to me tomorrow with the Doctor's answer. I am being very fair with Dr. Donna Vagnozzi. I hope in the next update I can report that she did the right thing and made good on this matter. read more

There are few times in life when such a horrific experience happens at a dentists office. I can't say how awful this experience was. She is patronizing and not remotely compassionate. I recently went in for a cavity to be drilled. The dental procedure went by fairly seamlessly and I didn't feel much discomfort at all. Then, around three hours later, it hit me. Excruciating throbbing pain in the area that was worked on. I couldn't drink water without a blinding white shot of pain shooting up my skull. Not even cold water, but room temperature water was killing me. I thought maybe it was just sore. But it didn't go away, even 2 weeks later. I finally called and asked if she could take a look at it. She was immediately condescending and not remotely compassionate. "Well it's probably because you were so nervous that you asked to leave before I could really perfect the bite." Really?!!! That's how you treat people in pain? It was your fault?! She didn't say I'm sorry for messing it up. She tried to convince me it was a microscopic imperfection in the bite. She did talk over me the whole time I was trying to describe the agonizing pain and tried to downplay it. I have had dental work before. There is something wrong here. She filed it down some more and just to end the shame and blame she was making me feel I lied and said the pain was better now. She then proceeded to lecture me about how I could use this positive experience to relearn how I think about doing to the dentist. Stay away!!!!!!! It will be the biggest mistake of your life. I been going to Dr. Vagnozzi-Bucci for years, never had a bad expierence. Other than being at the dentist, of course. And I leaned as a kid dentist meant pain and that fear still haunts me. Overall excellent experience over more than 5 years with this business. Great with even very anxious kids and very thorough -our family has never had a disappointment. Rework on a filling that left too much space between teeth was cheerfully done at no additional charge. The friendly and professional staff doesn't turn over too often, so you generally get to know your hygenist and dentist pretty well. Spa amenities available for those who go for that type of thing. I would give them zero stars if I could. The doctors seemed okay, but the billing person/office manager is one of the most incompetent and rudest people alive. She insists that there is $$ owed, but is not comprehending that she has to writeoff the amount insurance says they have to as in-network providers. She also sends very rude emails as though she's the doctor (like we think the doctor is actually writing to patients about billing!) and threatens that the work can't get completed unless the amount is paid in full - in advance! Our old dentist, who was wonderful, used to only bill us after the final EOB was received from insurance and then we'd pay it in full. We have EXCELLENT coverage that pays in full for all prevententative, so most of the time there wasn't even a payment needed from us. She's completely WRONG about their 'computer generated estimates on insurance payments' and we have the EOB's to prove it. In a nutshell she's simply a nasty person and they need to rething her being allowed to have contact with patients - or even her future employement since she's incompetent. We only just moved into the area and had appointments set up for the rest of our family, but we will find a new dentist. Welcome to the area!!! I am so grateful to Dr. Vagnozzi for giving me such a great smile and for aggressively pursuing a dental plan for me that will last the rest of my life. Every other dentist I have ever used treated my teeth in a reactive way; waiting for decay, movement and breakage to then subject me to the suffering of painful root canals and expensive fillings and crowns. Dr. Vagnozzi and her staff practice state-of-the-art dental technology in a preventative way (I know, right?!?) to spare me the cost and pain in the long run. This is the way everyone should practice all medicine, and so many dentists do not. Four years ago Dr. Vagnozzi put me on a dental plan to fill, crown, and replace my ancient silver fillings as well as any decay in any tooth she found. I then took advantage of a special offer for Invisalign to straighten my teeth, and Dr. Vagnozzi's attention to detail and making sure I was completely happy with the results was her top priority. Her practice is just completely different in that she provides modern state-of-the-art treatment as opposed to all the moldy oldy dentists and their antiquated tools and procedures. I had de enamelization along the gum line on my molars due to years of braces. I had to go in and get a dental clearance to have an operation and at that time they told me that they should fill the "cavities". I opted to wait until after my prior scheduled surgery was preformed so there would be no delay due to complications with my cavities. I had to go in for two visits as they were doing work on both sides of my mouth. This was June 2008. Dr. Donna Vagnossi-Bucci, DMD had issues getting the right side of my mouth numb and so I could feel the procedure as they were doing it. I have since had work on my right side by my dentist in CO and they had no problem getting me numb. Also since returning to CO I have had 2 of the fillings that were done in June 2008 by Dr. Donna Vagnossi-Bucci fall out. I feel that the work that I had done at Spa Dentistry by Dr. Vagnossi-Bucci was subpar and I would never go back there to have work done on my mouth. read more
