Dr. Yang must have arrived here in the time that I was away, but she has been nothing short of fantastic to work with. Her and Miranda did a thorough job numbing me before even using traditional lidocaine so I didn't feel anything at all (which I was very nervous about). I was coming in for a re-filling of a molar that might have turned into a root canal, but they were able to clean and fill out the cavity underneath my prior filling. The front office staff is always so kind, helpful and professional, while still being funny and connecting with clients. They offered payment plans in case of a root canal, and always follow up on appointments, etc. I will continue to come here as long as I live in the area and I hope Dr. Yang stays close by as well! Dr Reeves is clearly experienced (about 20 years, I think), and he was thorough in his treatment. He was also mindful of the limitations and allowances of my insurance plan. Beyond the nuts and bolts: First, I'm not someone who fears dental visits. That said, none of his staff that I met treated me with any warmth at all. The vibe of the place was a little disjointed, uncomfortable. This likely has to do with Dr Reeves' personality. I say this with the utmost compassion and respect: his demeanor reminded me of someone on the autism spectrum... with a rather awkward distance in his communication, and an unease with connection. To be fair, everyone has different perceptions, and if my rating were based solely on the technical stuff, these guys would get 5 stars. However, because I'm someone to whom the intangible matters, and because I realize that lots of folks have fears about going to the dentist, I can only give 4 stars.
