I am still waiting for "a follow up call" weeks later once again so I feel it's finally time to share my horrible experience. Please note-- I rarely write reviews (this is probably my first one), but I feel it's important to share my experience given the sensitivity of fertility care. While Dr. Gazelle has an impressive background with degrees from Harvard and Stanford and is very knowledgeable with statistics, my overall experience was extremely disappointing and, honestly, disheartening. From the start, the practice felt disorganized and impersonal. Her staff was kind when you reached them, but there were no check-ins, no follow-ups, and not even confirmation that my appointments were on the calendar--I had to constantly call to make sure I was scheduled. I was doing more work than them. Every appointment required pre-payment in cash, even before a short five-minute Zoom call, and Dr. Gazelle was consistently 15-30 minutes late, both virtually and in person. The promised "concierge liaison" never followed up regarding my lab work. Again, I had to reach out 3x to get loaded into my portal and each time they were loaded wrong. If I wanted to review the results I had already paid for, I was required to book another appointment and pay an additional $125 just to have them explained. Oh and note, the doctor won't get on the call until the cc transaction has processed. Please also note I do not care about paying cash for great service or medical care. We are financially sound. But the way they demanded the funds were just weird. I am business owner and this isn't the correct etiquette. After only a few tests (which in my opinion were not thorough), she quickly labeled me as "unexplained infertility" and immediately steered the conversation toward IUI--while simultaneously telling me it probably wouldn't work--and then pushed IVF as the only real option. "You must be exhausted after a year of trying on and off-- IVF is probably the best easiest route for you now." (Manipulation tactic-- "exhausted".). I came to her for answers not a magic $30-60k procedure that also could fail. No answers were given as everything she found was extremely healthy and normal. Beyond the financial frustration, what hurt the MOST was the lack of compassion. Fertility treatment is already one of the most emotionally vulnerable journeys a person can walk through, and I felt unseen, unheard, and treated more like a number than a patient. What should be a supportive and hopeful process felt transactional and even fear-driven. My feedback: This clinic desperately needs better systems, better communication, and above all, better patient care. A strong degree means little without empathy, organization, and follow-through. I cannot in good conscience recommend this doctor, despite her impressive credentials.

After three IUIs,…read moretwo egg retrievals, and five embryo transfers we have a 1.5 year old daughter, and now a baby boy on the way! We can say with complete confidence that we would not have our family without Dr. Anderson and his extraordinary team. What makes SCCRM special is not just the outcome--it's how they operate, which is increasingly rare in modern healthcare. Dr. Anderson is the foundation of this practice. His decades of experience and deep understanding of reproductive medicine set him apart. He does not follow cookie cutter protocols; every decision is individualized and intentional. He is methodical, conservative when appropriate, and determined when it matters--never doing anything unnecessary, but never withholding something that could help, even marginally. That balance made us feel safe, respected, and fully supported throughout an unpredictable journey. I've seen criticisms of Dr. Anderson, but that was not our experience. He listens, explains, and genuinely cares. When things didn't go as planned, he was just as disappointed as we were. When we had wins, he celebrated them sincerely. He is unusually accessible--available seven days a week and responsive when questions or concerns arise. He felt like a true partner, and we trust him completely. He does not sugarcoat difficult information, but he delivers it with honesty and respect. Most importantly, he is relentless in his commitment to achieving the best possible outcome. If you trust Dr. Anderson, follow his guidance, and give the process the time it requires, he will do everything in his power to help you succeed. The nursing staff is exceptional and deeply invested in patient care. * Julia consistently went above and beyond with warmth and clarity. * Crista brought calm confidence and excellent communication. * Daisy offered unwavering empathy and attentiveness. * Doris provided comedic relief while being thoughtful and thorough. * Joyce was incredibly sweet and highly skilled, always making us feel at ease. Molly at the front desk also deserves special recognition. She was consistently kind, welcoming, and a comforting presence at the beginning and end of every visit. We also worked with Dr. Royster, who performed one of my egg retrievals while Dr. Anderson was away for his daughter's wedding. His skill and professionalism ensured seamless continuity of care and reinforced the strength of the entire team. Operationally, SCCRM runs like a well oiled machine. Scheduling, monitoring, communication, and procedures are efficient and intentional. You always know what's happening, why it's happening, and what comes next--something that significantly reduces stress during an emotionally taxing process. Our family exists today because of Dr. Anderson and the team at Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine. Their expertise, consistency, and unwavering commitment turned an uncertain and exhausting process into real results. We will continue to recommend them without hesitation to anyone navigating this journey.

Dr. Elizabeth Dilday is wonderful, and if I were rating her alone, it would be 5 stars without a…read moresecond thought. But this review is about my entire experience with egg freezing here -- and the frustrations have buried the highlights. I genuinely wanted to love this place. I just can't. Start with billing, which has been a nightmare. I need my invoices for medical reimbursement -- that's money I'm owed back -- and despite staff promising to "expedite things," it took 2.5 to 3 months to get them, lack of email responses, calls with no number to call back, extensions that only goes to empty voicemails, after they'd sat marked "pending" for nearly two months. And when I finally reviewed the charges, the refund amounts had been added up wrong. So now I'm double-checking their math too. To fix it, I had to chase a separate department on East Coast time, which became an endless game of phone tag. Their billing is somehow both impossible to reach and disorganized once you do. I came on a referral specifically for Dr. Dilday, and everything was fine -- until the morning of my procedure, when I was casually told she wouldn't be performing it. Instead it'd be whoever was on rotation. How is the day-of an acceptable time to learn that the entire reason I chose this clinic isn't the person operating on me? A heads-up days in advance is not a big ask. Dr. Dilday did visit me, which was genuinely sweet -- but one kind gesture can't paper over how poorly this was communicated. Then the anesthesia, which still upsets me. I told the anesthesia team and every doctor that I come out of anesthesia rough -- clearly and repeatedly. Nobody believed me. The anesthesiologist brushed me off, saying that in all his years he'd never had a problem, and any issues before were because I hadn't had him. Well -- I had an adverse reaction. I woke up in traumatic, screaming pain, a 20 out of 10, exactly what I'd warned about. I wish he'd taken me seriously as he weaned me off the medication after the OR. My recovery was far worse than the two similar procedures I've had before -- genuinely concerning -- and I'm left wondering if it was the technique, the anesthesia, or both. When a patient tells you exactly what will happen to their body and you ignore them, this is what you get. Now the pharmacy. CCRM uses an outside pharmacy, and that was its own disaster. The driver "missed the delivery window," and then management couldn't even locate their own driver for hours. When they finally found him, he had to meet me at a dinner venue -- where I walked out in front of all my friends to grab a giant cooling box for medication I did not want to explain to anyone. I was over an hour and a half late to my event, then had to inconvenience someone to store the meds in their fridge, which meant sharing a deeply personal situation I'd have preferred to keep private. I basically lost a whole day on the phone juggling team members over a pickup that should have been a simple delivery. And all that chaos traced back to one decision: the clinic sent only a single day's loaned dose. So of course I then had to call the on-call doctor after hours to report I didn't have what I needed for day two. I still don't understand why they couldn't just loan two days' worth so nobody has to scramble. It got worse. Right before my trigger injection -- the most time-sensitive, do-not-mess-this-up part of the whole process -- the on-call doctor clearly hadn't read the notes from the physician before him. He instructed me to start a medication I was never given and that was never ordered. I was at work, and he sent me into a full panic attack, because I couldn't drop everything to figure out what I supposedly had, literally the second-to-last day before my trigger. The lack of professionalism, the broken handoffs, the total breakdown in communication between departments, physicians, and billing -- it has genuinely let me down. And it's worse because this could be such a great place. The talent is here, the reputation is real, and I drove two hours each way because of it. I could have stayed local, but I took the referral and did my research -- only to find out how much exhausting, unnecessary work this would be. Roughly four months later, I'm still chasing invoices that don't add up or aren't complete enough to even submit. Fertility patients are already carrying enough emotionally, physically, and financially. It should not be this exhausting. The anxiety, the frustration, the helplessness, and the feeling of not being heard at times really don't make this experience with CCRM. I wish it wasn't so, and I am so sorry for leaving this review, but i really don't wish this upon anyone who is coming hoping for a good result.

By the time my appointment finally arrived, I had already tested positive for an early pregnancy and informed Dr. Lin that I am going to see my OBGYN in a next few days during the of the consultation. Despite knowing I was positive, Dr. Lin recommended tests that were not appropriate for my situation. When I later questioned the testing, I was told the wrong tests had been ordered, and the responsibility was shifted to the nurse !!!!! The consultation felt robotic and disconnected from my actual medical condition. No clear guidance was provided regarding next steps, and I had to contact the clinic myself about a week later to cancel the treatment plan. They still billed my insurance for the consultation which their website does not show any cost for consultation fee. When I called to ask Michelle for details charge. she yelled at me and implied that I was at fault simply for attending the consultation!!!! From the doctor to the front office and the billing team, my experience showed me that the entire clinic lacks communication and coordination. The advertising to be misleading. Patients seeking fertility treatment are already under significant emotional stress. We deserve doctors who listen, evaluate their individual circumstances, and provide genuine medical guidance--not a scripted conversation followed by unexpected charges.

I have rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and have taken the holistic approach to treating my disease. I decided to try acupuncture to see if it could assist with my inflammation and pain. I did my research and decided to try Lee Acupuncture based on all the positive reviews. There were even a few reviews coming from arthritis patients who had obtained good results. They're located in a small business plaza that borders Costa Mesa & Newport Beach. The big "Melton Int'l Tackle" sign is a good landmark. They are located all the way down the alley on the right. Free parking is available. The office itself is rather small with 3-4 patient rooms and a small waiting area that's comfortably furnished with 2 chairs, a sofa and some snacks & water. I was pleased to learn that my insurance covered the first 6 sessions (per year) at $40 co-pay per session. After that the rate goes up, but you can buy a package that offers lower rates. The very 1st session was interesting, as they hooked me up to a machine to determine how balanced my energy was flowing internally. It highlighted key areas of improvement. The belief is that the more balanced I am, the less inflammation I will have. Each session is about 1/2 an hour. I started going twice a week, and now I go once a week. I was assigned to Dr. Kim who thoroughly explained everything to me prior to starting, and continues to remain helpful and caring. He inserts the needles in various areas, primarily my hands, feet and head. Sometimes it hurts a little when the needles go in, and a couple times I've bled after the needles came out, but that's probably because it hit a vein. I lay on the table for 1/2 hour and feel very relaxed afterwards. In addition to the acupuncture, I take herbs that I purchase from them for $90 for 1 weeks worth. They said it's very important to keep taking the herbs as it assists with the healing process. I had also read about this online. I take the herbs 2x a day (AM & PM) with food. I mix the herbs with a little water and drink it like a tea. After approximately two months of acupuncture and drinking herbs, I can positively say that my inflammation has gone down significantly. I took a photo of my inflammation on my hands & feet prior to starting, and there has been a big improvement! I will definitely continue seeing Dr. Kim, and I'm so happy I discovered Lee Acupuncture.

I called the clinic to follow up on my $350 reimbursement. While the facility itself looks clean and professional, my first impression was not positive. I came in simply hoping to learn more about IUI/IVF options before moving forward, but the experience left me feeling uncomfortable during the consultation because it seemed like the doctor was more focused on promoting IVF rather than fully discussing my situation and options. I want to start by saying that the staff was kind, and I genuinely liked Dr. Moayeri. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and compassionate on a personal level. Unfortunately, the overall experience was deeply disappointing due to serious administrative and insurance oversights. I was taken through the entire IVF process, appointments, medications, monitoring, right up until I was about to have my egg retrieval. Two days before Christmas, I received a call informing me that I was being dropped as a patient because they had failed to properly verify my insurance. At that point, I was told they do not accept my specific WIN Fertility benefits, something that should have been confirmed at the very beginning. This error completely derailed my timeline and forced me to abruptly move clinics at the very end of treatment, which was emotionally overwhelming and incredibly disruptive. Fertility treatment is not something you can simply "pause" without consequences, and the lack of accountability and clear explanation made me feel unsupported during a very vulnerable moment. I did speak with the director, who was kind, but kindness doesn't make up for the lack of oversight. Since leaving, multiple professionals have told me that my experience was not normal, which only reinforced how mishandled this situation was. My advice to anyone considering OC Fertility: get a second opinion before committing, and double or triple check your insurance directly with your provider. Do not rely solely on the clinic's confirmation. I truly wish my experience had been different, because the emotional toll of having to switch practices after going through so much was incredibly hard.

In the end, she had obtained more eggs ever compared to the previous doctors combined, and was able to get one successful embryos to be cultured and turned out to be normal after the testing Be honest with her, and if you believe there is something that is not fertility related, but medically related and share that with her because she is an honest and a person of integrity who will let you know the truth based on her knowledge. Then there was my coordinator I was assigned to, Annie, who was probably one of the best coordinators I have ever worked with throughout all my medical appointments inside and outside of fertility treatments. She would be very clear and concise on her method of communication and would always follow up if a due date was approaching and I had not finished my side of the homework. I really appreciate all that she has done from beginning to end with her communication and her sense of compassion, love, and care for myself, and I'm sure she does that with all of her patience. If I can give some feedback, I would say she deserves a high pay raise

This review is longgg overdue! We cannot thank RFC enough for helping us bring our precious miracle…read moregirl into our lives! She turns 9 months tomorrow and I cannot believe how fast time has flown by. I have PCOS and wouldn't ovulate on my own. I also had a partially blocked tube so we jumped straight into IVF rather than trying to see if IUI would work. We were pregnant on our 2nd transfer and over the moon. We appreciated being seen on time for our appointments and Dr Williams was our favorite to work with. He has great bedside manner and takes his time to explain things. We still have some embryos left and are looking forward to when we can transfer and hopefully grow our family. Thank you Dr Lin & team!
