While shopping around for a Fertility Clinic near the San Diego area we realized that not only is WCFC extremely affordable compared to other clinics in our area but they are also always available when needed. I've never experienced being on a long hold, never had to wait long for a consultation, and appointment times were always catered to me and my wife's schedule. Something that really stuck with me with WCFC is how personal they were throughout the process. We felt an immense amount of support from the staff & were so grateful that we weren't looked at as just a number. We chose regular IVF for my wife & Embryo freezing for me. We were prescribed regular IVF meds. I recommend looking into the compassionate care program to get discounted rates on some of the meds. I recommend looking into the compassionate care program to get discounted rates on some of the meds. With the help and support of the staff my wife retrieved 37 eggs in one cycle and I retrieved 45 eggs in one cycle!! Our first attempt with WCFC ended in a success. We transferred two embryos and one stuck in 2024. In Jan 2026 we began trying for our second, on our second transfer in March 2026 we recieved a positive pregnancy test! We highly recommend working with them.

I had a disappointing first experience at West Coast Infertility Clinic…read more At my initial visit, I paid $350 and was told by the receptionist that this amount would be reimbursed back to my card after my insurance claim was finalized. About a month later, I checked my insurance account and saw that the clinic had billed $2,286, and the claim had already been finalized for about two weeks. I called the clinic to follow up on my $350 reimbursement. The staff member who answered initially told me the insurance claim was still pending, which conflicted with the information from my insurance. After I explained what I saw on my account, she said she would check with the billing department and call me back the next day--but I did not feel confident in the communication or transparency of the process. While the facility itself looks clean and professional, my first impression was not positive. I came in simply hoping to learn more about IUI/IVF options before moving forward, but the experience left me feeling uncomfortable during the consultation because it seemed like the doctor was more focused on promoting IVF rather than fully discussing my situation and options. Additionally, I did not receive any results from the blood tests or ultrasound performed during my visit. Overall, not the level of service or clarity I was expecting for such an important and sensitive journey.

Rather than rushing into repeated attempts, Dr. Kaing ensured we explored ALL appropriate interventions, including an HSG, saline sonogram, comprehensive blood work, and ultimately a hysteroscopy, to truly optimize our chances moving forward. She consistently took the time to explain each step, answer my many questions (I was very nervous!), and made sure we felt informed/supported/confident throughout the process. I completed a procedure today that was an important part of our fertility journey to improve future success, and I felt completely confident in Dr. Kaing's expertise every step of the way. I'm incredibly grateful for her entire team, their care was seamless and compassionate, and they never left my side. Nurse Mackenna and anesthesiologist Dr. Schneider were outstanding!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Kaing to anyone seeking a physician who leads with excellence, genuine care, and a truly positive and beautiful spirit!!

When I came to this clinic, Dr. Lin advised me to first prepare my body step by step before starting another IVF cycle. Thanks to the thorough testing, I was able to understand what was happening with my uterus and fallopian tubes. Although I was eager to become pregnant as soon as possible, Dr. Lin carefully explained what was necessary to reach our goal and emphasized that not rushing is essential to improving the success rate. His guidance gave me confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. I would also like to highlight Ms. Paula, the coordinator, who handled my medication schedule very flexibly and always responded quickly. Ms. Ai, a nurse and interpreter, was incredibly kind and supportive. Because my English is limited, she helped coordinate with CVS and made sure everything went smoothly. Her care and hospitality meant so much to us. I strongly recommend this clinic for anyone seeking not only medical expertise, but also genuine kindness and support.

She never promised anything except that she is going to try her best based on the previous attempts with a different doctor and the results that was provided to her from the previous clinic. She changed the routine in order to give us the best outcome possible based on the knowledge that was given, and she even sat down after each procedure explaining what had happened, and what each results meant and the stages that it was undergoing. In the end, she had obtained more eggs ever compared to the previous doctors combined, and was able to get one successful embryos to be cultured and turned out to be normal after the testing Be honest with her, and if you believe there is something that is not fertility related, but medically related and share that with her because she is an honest and a person of integrity who will let you know the truth based on her knowledge. Then there was my coordinator I was assigned to, Annie, who was probably one of the best coordinators I have ever worked with throughout all my medical appointments inside and outside of fertility treatments. She would be very clear and concise on her method of communication and would always follow up if a due date was approaching and I had not finished my side of the homework. I really appreciate all that she has done from beginning to end with her communication and her sense of compassion, love, and care for myself, and I'm sure she does that with all of her patience. If I can give some feedback, I would say she deserves a high pay raise

After reaching out, my initial appointment was abruptly canceled about a week in advance. I later discovered that what I believed to be a local office was actually a call center. At no point did anyone explain how their scheduling works, that offices operate independently, or that doctors are independent providers. I was eventually rescheduled at the Laguna Hills location. When I arrived, the receptionist was unfriendly and immediately informed me of a $99 consultation fee. I had no issue paying this fee, had it been disclosed beforehand--which it was not. When I raised this concern, I was told that the doctor I paid the consultation fee for would be the only doctor who could treat me if I moved forward. If our personalities or approach did not align, I would be required to pay an additional consultation fee to see another doctor. That is an unacceptable business practice. To make matters worse, I was told that the person responsible for explaining financing and costs would not be available for another day or two, meaning I could not even receive a proper quote during my visit. I intentionally carved time out of my busy schedule for what is a very emotional and important decision in my life, only to leave feeling frustrated, disappointed, and misled. I will not be returning to this facility or any of its affiliates, and I would strongly caution others to be very clear about fees, scheduling, and expectations before booking an appointment.

I have rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and have taken the holistic approach to treating my disease. I decided to try acupuncture to see if it could assist with my inflammation and pain. I did my research and decided to try Lee Acupuncture based on all the positive reviews. There were even a few reviews coming from arthritis patients who had obtained good results. They're located in a small business plaza that borders Costa Mesa & Newport Beach. The big "Melton Int'l Tackle" sign is a good landmark. They are located all the way down the alley on the right. Free parking is available. The office itself is rather small with 3-4 patient rooms and a small waiting area that's comfortably furnished with 2 chairs, a sofa and some snacks & water. I was pleased to learn that my insurance covered the first 6 sessions (per year) at $40 co-pay per session. After that the rate goes up, but you can buy a package that offers lower rates. The very 1st session was interesting, as they hooked me up to a machine to determine how balanced my energy was flowing internally. It highlighted key areas of improvement. The belief is that the more balanced I am, the less inflammation I will have. Each session is about 1/2 an hour. I started going twice a week, and now I go once a week. I was assigned to Dr. Kim who thoroughly explained everything to me prior to starting, and continues to remain helpful and caring. He inserts the needles in various areas, primarily my hands, feet and head. Sometimes it hurts a little when the needles go in, and a couple times I've bled after the needles came out, but that's probably because it hit a vein. I lay on the table for 1/2 hour and feel very relaxed afterwards. In addition to the acupuncture, I take herbs that I purchase from them for $90 for 1 weeks worth. They said it's very important to keep taking the herbs as it assists with the healing process. I had also read about this online. I take the herbs 2x a day (AM & PM) with food. I mix the herbs with a little water and drink it like a tea. After approximately two months of acupuncture and drinking herbs, I can positively say that my inflammation has gone down significantly. I took a photo of my inflammation on my hands & feet prior to starting, and there has been a big improvement! I will definitely continue seeing Dr. Kim, and I'm so happy I discovered Lee Acupuncture.

Since starting acupuncture in January 2026 I have not had a migraine since. I've had some mild headaches here and there (days I forgot to drink enough water, or ate garbage), but not my dreaded 3-4 day stuck in bed with all the lights off migraine terror. It's really been amazing. I'm now working with Dr. Zhao on all the other issues I've ignored for so long. The weird tennis elbow/carpal tunnel pain, insomnia, the random chronic things that I just learned to live in pain with. For new patients, you will go into a consultation and then almost seamlessly transition right in to treatment. So a consultation lasts like maybe 10-15 minutes and then the acupuncture (depending on what you have going on) may take 45 minutes. If you just want the consultation, no treatment, you will need to be very clear about this. Dr. Zhao is ready to work, so if you do NOT want treatment you'll need to speak up. My insurance unfortunately does not cover acupuncture ( I have an HSA) so I pay about $185 for cupping and acupuncture per session. I know with other insurance it would be about $15 co-pay. I recommend Dr. Zhao to everyone.
