I was considering buying a Tundra I really liked from a local dealer, took it to Roy first to rule out issues. He found several issues that would cost me$1500-$3k to repair. The dealership manager was livid, declared the truck was in excellent condition as advertised and tried to say Roy was a bad mechanic....and then immediately dropped the truck price by 3k , and rudely badgered to get me to buy it. ?? So in spite of trash taking the inspection results, he knew they were correct. Tried to pull a fast one and Roy caught it. Truck was close to worth the money after the MAJOR price drop but after the temper tantrums and insults from the dealership manager I wasn't spending a penny there. I didn't feel like hassling with my cellphone roadside (I've used it before they take forever) plus I didn't have a spare tire. 3. I wanted to get HOME SOON 2 options came up and I chose this place. I called Steve the owner was very nice, respectful, and knowledgeable of what he was doing. I told him what I needed he didn't have it but offered an alternative to at least get me on my way. While they didn't have a truck to tow me I risked driving the 6min drive (thank God I broke down close to THE EXIT) The location was a tad bit unassuming I didn't know where I was going or what to expect. I found the place pulled up. I met Steve and his wife Cynthia and he went straight to work. Cynthia kept me company while Steve worked (very nice young lady). I was heading home in about 20 minutes from the time I placed that first call and talked to James, he called back and had someone on there way. Air was getting in the fuel lines, Cody did his magic and the truck fired right up. He then explained to me what was happening and showed me what to do if it happened again before I made it home since they would have to order the parts and I don't live in LaGrange. He explained to me what needed to be done so I could get it repaired at my regular shop. Definitely recommend this company.
