I went here to have a ding in my windshield repaired today, which is not always easy to get out during the day because I work graveyard, but it had to be done. So I arrive, tired and could probably look a little better, the receptionist that helped me was very professional and polite she even got me a small discount. But when my tech comes in is when I started to be really impressed. He comes in, introduces himself as Ronnie and we walk out to my car to see the damage. He inspects it and explains that even though its very small I will still be able to notice its there, I tell him thats fine, thats what I was expecting i would just like it to be stopped from spreading he tells me it will be about 30 minutes and I go inside to wait. About 15 minutes later he comes in to ask if it would be ok if it took a little longer, that he would like to make certain it was done as best as possible, I say sure. So when my car gets done he brings me my key and we both say thank you, he was extremely professional and polite, excellent customer service from him! I pay and proceed to my car to check it out and what do I see? almost nothing! you can barely tell it was ever dinged. I am very happy with the job he did but more importantly I was extremely impressed with the magnificent customer service I received from multiple staff members. good customer service is few and far between these days. Recently someone threw a big rock through our living room window. Being elderly we were quite upset, because there was glass everywhere, a big basket ball sized hole in the glass and the weather outside was bad. The cost to repair the window was over $500 and our insurance would not cover it, because our deductible was higher than that. It was recommended we call Don's Mobile Glass. We called and were so happy we did! They sent a gentleman out named Ubaldo to help us. He was so kind and professional, he put us right at ease. He had to order the glass, and it would take 2-3 working days for it to come in, so he fixed it so we would be alright until it came in. He kept reassuring us that it would all be ok, and sympathized with us for the damage done. At a time when all you hear on tv & news are negatives, it was very refreshing to do business with a company that insures their workers take good care of their customers. Something you don't see much any more. Don's really has some of the BEST technicians working for them, no joke! I had an incident at a local supermarket where my windshield was pretty badly cracked. A young guy came up and told me he worked for Dons and that they have really good prices for windshield repair and that I should call them first thing in the morning. Well, I did because the LAST thing I wanted to do was call around to a bunch of places first thing in the morning! I called, they were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. Excellent and proffessional. You can tell these people are well trained and take pride in thier work. I brought in a pair of wood stove doors to have the glass replaced. The young lady that waited on me didn't bat an eye. She got out a tape measure, took down the measuments and had a quote for me in less than 5 minutes. Then she put on a pair of gloves and unloaded the other door for me. (She even made an excellent effort to pronounce my last name correctly! Which is also impressive.)The young lady told me they would have my doors ready by the next day. In less than 24 hours I get a call that my doors were ready for pick up. A different young lady waited on me , but with the same proffesionalism and efficiency. She and the glazier carried the doors to my vechicle. The doors had been cleaned and packaged as if new! Luke Johnson is one of the friendly faces you will meet when you first come into Don's Mobile Glass. He is helpful, likes his job, and he obviously knows well that customer service is the "name of the game". I needed to purchase glass for some bathroom cabinets. It was an extremely low profit job, but that made no difference to Luke or anybody else at Don's. Luke took his time with me every time I went in. He also cut the size of an existing mirror that I had, free of charge, not once, but twice, due to any error on my part. When I had to have the mirror cut a second time, I asked Luke if there was any chance that they could re-cut the mirror quickly that day before they closed. Luke accommodated my last minute request as if we were part of a big dollar project! SVC MGR Bill loaned us vehicle to get Lunch as we are from out of town. Wayne Did a Fantastic Job with R/R and prep to last another 40 years. we know we can trust DMG on our Classic cars as it is getting hard to find techs that can work on Classic vehicles.The waiting room was very comfortable, All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Was scheduled between 8am - noon. Approximately 10 am SAM, technician, called to advise he was 10 minutes out. He was pleasant, thorough, and kept my car as clean as he found it. Doug in the Turlock office was able to repair the chip despite the size, saving me the cost and time of having to replace the windshield again.
