This is a small, unpretentious donut place, see my outside pic. For a small place it had a fair amount of variety. The service was quick and friendly. We tried their Apple Fritter, see my pic. As you can see in my pic, it had plenty of glazing and the requisite sweetness. The outside ring of the fritter was nice and crunchy. The center was still moist. While it had the apple bits, they weren't evenly distributed, but it still was a good Apple Fritter.

I was in town to see some clients and didn't want to arrive empty handed so to Yelp I went to find the spot with the best reviews and I quickly found out why. As soon as you walk in the door, the smells of incredible baked goodness fills your nose, head, heart and soul!!! I immediately felt like I was walking into someone's love filled kitchen as I entered. There was a small army (of it was only like 5 people) of bakery assassins that seemed to greet me all at once. Everyone was so nice and kind. I picked up 2 dozen and even got what I like to call a few "bonus donuts" that never seem to make it to the final destination because they get eaten in the car. Today, I couldn't even wait that long and started eating it in the shop on my way to the car. It was fresh out of the oven and had just the right amount of crisp outside but a soft, warm, and buttery inside. Oh My Goodness. I'm so happy/sad that this donut heaven is 2 hours away because I'd need to triple my commitments at the gym. This is one Donut Hole in the Wall you won't want to pass up!!!! Thanks again for the yummy treats and amazing service to match. Best of luck to you and the family!!!

Apple fritter with just the right thickness and amount of dough ratio to the apples and crispiness Yum

For the past five years, I have been looking for a good apple fritter haven't found one since Wincheles went out of business. I think there's one in Riverside but AnyWho, this donut delight in Banning. Once a month I try a different donut place and I found it nice perfect thickness crispy, and it has apples. Very good

This place knows what they are doing. I was crouch and tired so I searched yelp for a donut shop for a pick me up. Found this place with great reviews. Stopped in at 3:15pm and ordered two donuts. He asked me if I'd like an iced coffee and I agreed it was a good idea. I try not to have caffeine in the afternoon but i needed it. Then I saw he was going to make it fresh! So I asked if he had decaf and he did. What great service! Seems like a simple place but they clearly try to make their customers happy. And they have Yerba mate that they keep around for one specific customer if that is something you like. Just ask for it! 10/10 This place turned my day around.

I love the breakfast sandwiches- first time I got one it was great- second time found out it had mayo. Didn't know they come with mayo. Just wish I was advised that they had mayo in it. Not a fan of mayo for my breakfast sandwich. I sure do love mayo but I've never had a breakfast sandwich with mayo- and will never like it on my sandwich for that reason. Now I just got to remember about the no mayo. Overall place seems clean. My toddler loves the donuts so that's what makes it worth it.

But this past Friday was exceptionally bad. I go in, nobody is at the front, I wait a bit, nothing. Then I go to the side where you can see into the kitchen and kindly say good morning. 3 other customers come in and now there's a line. She comes out with a bothered face and says "yes?." And I'm like "can I get this chocolate bar and this one" I don't know the name of each donut okay. I see one and I point at it. And she's like "which 'this one'"....hahaha the nerve. Really? I snap back and I say "this one." Not only am I pointing at it with my finger but I'm trying to assist her by showing her but she's just not bending down to see as it's one of the donuts further down. I'll end it there as the rest of the interaction wasn't pleasant. Btw there was like 2 other girls in the back from what I heard that she could have asked for help while the other 3 customers waited. Listen. If you're gonna be blasting Christian music over the speakers and come out looking like you ate the devil back there and you're upset that you have to deal with customers, the very customers that idk, make your business...then it's time to close the place down or get a job where you don't have to deal with people that early in the morning. I'm not going back. I'll drive out further to not have to see that that early in the morning. Also, change your music. Don't let me find out where you fellowship, I'll let them know you're in need of prayer bad.

The Soudough shop was Amaxing. We got the fresh cheddar and jakapeno sourdough bread. Dipped with their farm made balsamic blackberry vinegar and olive oil. So crispy on top and soft dough inside. The matcha room was so good especially the jasmine tea macha and bnb matcha latte. Pizza the sourdough crust with urugula, goat cheese ,figs . Wow . Live music was so enjoyable. The Monark band performed well. Chandelier hanging all over the trees . The cafe and food stands were all open and so many to choose from. Sourdough donuts, burgers, fried with lavender solo. We have been to 123 Farm before, and while it remains a visually stunning place, our recent…read moreSaturday visit left us feeling that the event has gotten much more expensive while losing some of its original natural charm and value. The Good: Parking Logistics: The parking lot has been moved closer to the flower fields this year, which is a massive upgrade in convenience compared to previous years. The Atmosphere & Maze: The farm decorations are beautiful, especially the purple cloths hung between the rows of large trees that catch the wind. Our kids also thoroughly enjoyed the Lavender Pallet Maze. It features a fun True/False lavender trivia game inside that kept our son engaged enough to want to do it twice. The Petting Zoo: The animals were quite active (bunnies, a Polish chicken, goats, and a very soft alpaca). It's a nice stop for kids, though parents of timid children should watch out as the little goats can be a bit pushy! The Disappointing: Over-Commercialization: There are massive lighting setups in the flower fields now. It feels like there is too much human intervention, and the lavender didn't look as healthy or vibrant as it did during our first visit. Additionally, most of the fields were already harvested and cut flat. I don't think there will be much of bloom later in the month. Food & Pricing Downgrades: We ordered the Lavender Smash Burger and Lavender Carne Asada Fries. The burger patty was overly salty and the fries lacked crispiness. Two years ago, the specialty drinks (Strawberry Lavender Lemonade and Iced Tea) came with a fresh sprig of lavender. This year, there was no garnish at all. The prices have gone up, but the experience feels stripped down. The "No Water" Policy: The farm is incredibly dry and dusty. Selling lemonade here must be an absolute goldmine because they do not provide water. When my husband went around to the stands to ask for water or extra ice cups, he was told no stand has water, and a cashier literally rolled her eyes at him. Word of advice: Bring plenty of your own water and leave it in the car! The "Free" Kids' Craft: The advertised free craft was a huge letdown. It was just basic coloring pages on postcards with zero staff guidance. The actual interactive crafts require an extra fee, which felt cheap considering the high price of admission. The nearby games were also poorly maintained--the foosball table was so old and broken that it used a ping-pong ball that the soccer men couldn't even hit. Tips for Parents: Check the daily schedule carefully before lounging around! We mistakenly thought crafts started in the evening, but weekend activities actually start at 1:00 PM. Overall, it's still a decent day trip for photos, but bring your own hydration, manage your expectations on the food, and be prepared for a very commercialized experience.
