The BEST CHOCOLATE BARS! I stopped by with my family after Beaumont Nights and we had an amazing chocolate bar with chocolate chips atop and some chocolate filling at the center. The chocolate used at Yum Yum's almost tastes like the consistency of when you use turtle shell chocolate over ice cream. It's a little thicker, but rich and mildly sweet. I can't give five stars as they added less filling this trip (they used to add more), but everything else was great! As for service, the gentleman at the counter was very polite and friendly. All of the night crew are friendly here regardless of how late it is. The coffee is always pumping and hot, my parents enjoyed it. We sat for a few minutes and the tables were clean. My recent visit left me very perplexed. I've been here before, got a bear claw, it was decent. Thought I would come back for another visit. Second expierence; I walked in and asked for a half dozen. The server preceded to grab a small bag. I told him, no, I'm getting all big doughnuts. He said "they'll fit." No, they will not fit, can you give me a box. He grabbed the small box in the picture, and proceeded to fill. He started stacking the doughnuts on top of each other. I asked him if you could grab another box (I did not want the doughnuts stuck together). He said, "that was the last small box." Okay, can you get a big box? He said "no, I can use for this order." Really? Doughnut quality, they are okay, not bad, not great. Would I come back for the doughnuts? Probably not. Would I comeback for the customer service, NO! I come here about once a week to get my kids a treat. No one is ever overly friendly. Not friendly at all Usually. I try my best to make it to the other local donut shops, but sometimes I have to come after bedtime and this is the only donut shop that's open. My experience with the Hispanic guy behind the counter was blatantly rude his name isnt on the receipt- I made sure before I went in that they accept Apple Pay because I forgot my there is a sign stating so, after he very rudely took my order - he said they don't take Apple Pay- I reference the sign and he very rudely said it's not working. There was about five or six individual donut bags so I'd very nicely ask him for a plastic bag because that's usually what is given when you have so many small donut bags - with a really shitty attitude he grabbed a plastic bag, set it on the counter and walked away. I am not above bagging my own stuff, but it was the attitude for me . If I can't make it on time to another local donut shop, I am just going to have to wait until I can . I have overlooked the fact that even when they are sealed in a Ziploc bag, the donuts taste stale within 24 hours, after this, they can keep their over priced crap. read more

The cream in the cream filled twist was fine but again the donut itself felt too firm instead of light and airy. First of all, they serve more than just doughnuts & coffee they have a variety of different breakfast sandwiches which is really why I enjoy this place. Secondly, they serve a variety of different drinks also & my favorite is our their smoothies! They make their smoothies with fresh fruits & you can taste them.
